Review 1：We had no bad experiences at all. Yes the room was showing its age but overall leaving was definitely the worst bit.

Review 2：We loved the private grounds so beautifully kept beside the rocks and the sea. The exclusivity, tranquility and food were all exactly what we were looking for. It's actually "Disneyesque" and I mean that entirely in a good way.

Review 5：We absolutely loved Emelisse. It has a gorgeous outlook and is a perfectly located near a sheltered bay + has the awesome option of jumping from rocks a short walk from the mani pool. Beautifully kept and sweet art treats dotted throughout. The staff are great. They offer a shuttle service down to pretty Fiskardo which gives you lots of dining options.

Review 6：Very long distance from the airport and quite far from any sandy beaches. Dinner in the main restaurant was a bit of a let down, foodwise. But what a view!

Review 7：The staff were fantastic and really helpful, especially the guys on the front desk. They spoke perfect English too! Private swimming pools to each villa were such a treat. Lots of on site activities: gym, spa, pool, table tennis, etc.

Review 8：Our room was very dark. For a 5 star, side view Junior Suite room, I would have expected something a bit more. Plus the selection at Breakfast was poor.

Review 11：The staff in particular were very friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The multiple pools (one set aside for adults, away from the kids and therefore quiet) was a nice idea. Breakfast choice and quality was also very good.

Review 16：Very uncomfortable matress, despite the addition of a topper after the first night. Hard latex matress. Everything was 5 star apart from the matress. Next stop the osteopath for us all!

Review 18：Raised a number of issues with reception which were never addressed / totally disinterested. Air conditioning was ineffective - we both felt physically sick in the night due to the heat in the room.! Maid removed flannels on 1st morning but didn't replace. Management said they would rectify but they had still not appeared by checkout! Housekeeping supposed to be twice daily- this did not happen. Given a box of soaps / oils supposedly as an apology for not having dealt with ANY of the issues raised during our stay - then gave exact same item to next client as matter of routine checking out. This was supposed to be a special anniversary treat - totally ruined by the attitude of the management! Most of the daily staff very pleasant - from Bulgaria, although last morning we had to ask several times for some coffee / milk etc, by which time the coffee was cold. Head waiter in the main restaurant looks perpetually bored with clients, 'po-faced'! Rest of the waiters were lovely. Overall very disappointed with our stay in what should have been a spectacular holiday.

Review 20：Absolutely amazing resort. Everthing was perfect. I ended up upgrading to a 2 bedroom suite with an amazing balcony and the most beutiful view. I had the best time at this resort. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

Review 21：Ground floor room was really dark and Internet didn't work consistently. Breakfast was slightly chaotic not enough staff, covers were not reset, you had to chase staff for drinks.

Review 22：Cliff top views, snorkeling area, pools, spa. At night the grounds and restaurant areas are lit up by loads of lamps and lights creating a lovely ambience and plenty of areas to sit and enjoy the sunset and night sky. Grounds are beautiful with the smell of lavender and herbs throughout.

Review 27：The gardens are fairly run down and need attention. Rooms very dark even with all the lights on. Breakfast offering could be improved.

Review 28：Fantastic location, really well set out. The whole place has a very relaxed and peaceful feel. Food at the bar was great and the service first class. Reception was very welcoming and formality free.

Review 29：Kefalonia had its worst weather for years whilst we were there and it thundered and lightened for two solid days and nights. The weather was not the fault of the hotel but the main restaurant was open air and we thought they would move it to the breakfast area but no. It was torrential rain and with a small child it was impossible to get into town without drowning so the only option was room service which was cold so on the second night of confinement we just didn't bother. On our last night we ate at the restaurant and it was very chilly but there were no heaters, so just be aware if you go late in the season eating inside in Fiskardo is limited

Review 30：This was our first trip with a 7 month old baby and the hotel were really accommodating. Accommodation provided a cot and a room big enough to have the cot in our room or a linked space. Staff were delightful and very accommodating. Our child became a very special little girl and everyone came to see her and to make sure she was ok. She just loved it. The shuttle to town was great and although we walked into town with a pram the driver stopped when passing to ask if we wanted a lift, a great help when it started raining Area outside of the room was lovely, a bit of private space leading to a small pool shared with two other rooms. This is in addition to the main pools

Review 31：I had left a yacht at Fiscado port and the location of the hotel on Google Maps looked like a short walk, in fact the location was totally wrong and i ended up walking in the wrong direction and then walked up the hill with a heavy kit bag.....admittedly not many clients would choose to walk there but the location should be correct, not sure if it a Google error or hotel error.

Review 36：The staff at emilisse were amazing. Excellent attention to detail and were one step ahead of knowing what we wanted and needed as guests. I proposed to my finance while at the hotel and they went the extra mile to help in every way they could. Breakfast, second to none!

Breakfast and lunch always good, and the local restaurants provided a great choice for eating out too. All in all a great place to relax in the sun.

Review 42：Parking is a nightmare but staff are very happy to take the problem off your hands. It is quite a walk to town but the shuttle bus service is very good.

Review 43：The hotel occupies a great location with stunning views to Ithaca and other islands. The accommodation is stylish although already this new hotel is suffering a little from Greek maintenance, for example a bare electrical connector next to the mirror in the bedroom, fencing posts near the pool with dangerous support brackets. We really hope they keep on top of this because it is a great spot and we will return. We would have to say that the staff here are just outstanding, they could not have been more friendly and helpful.

Breakfast: best scrambled eggs we've ever had (and my boyfriend makes good eggs!) plus a good selection of other food all with a fantastic view from the balcony Rooms: comfy and clean. Really good pillows. Pool: brilliant! Great loungers and sofas. Really friendly staff on hand. Very soft towels. Pool long enough to do some decent swimming. Oh and the view again. Restaurant: great. Better than most of the other food we are in Fiskardo (barring the restaurant at Jerusalem beach). Good salad selection for lazy lunch too. Snorkels for guests were really good quality, we used them all week at the various beaches.

Review 46：Hotel feels remote and offers seclusion being looked after by very friendly staff - an undeveloped location on the end of Kefalonia island looking out to Ithaca, and with the beautiful (small) harbour of Fiskardo within 2 mins by hotel car

Review 80：There wasn't a good system when getting food and drinks at the pool area. It was hard to get the server's attention. Also,we wish we got bottled water in our room, or there was water in common areas. Sometimes we had no water in our room's minibar either.

Review 89：The design of the hotel is it's best feature. The position is great too. The best use has been made of both features. We had 2 weeks there and loved every minute. The pools, the sea the nearby beach etc etc. Loved our massages with Sortoris ( several ) he is a genius ( he helped fix a sore knee ) and took 2 boat trips with Captain Theodore to Ithaca and Scorpios. Both terrific. The staff are great from reception to room cleaning. Thank you Andreas, Felix and sister Maria. We were looked after like silkworms ! Love Greece and Kefalonia ( especially Fiskardo ). Hope to go back.

Review 90：The hotel was fantastic. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel very welcome. Our room was upgraded to a suite which came with a pool. It was perfect. Breakfast was delicious and the views were to die for. I can't fault it!
