Reviews for Auplands
Review 1:Welcoming, relaxing and informal. The room was large, comfortable and spotless. The breakfast was excellent - really good variety and beautifully prepared. Parking was a bonus and the proximity to the town centre made eating out in the evening so easy. The owners made our stay really enjoyable and we would stay there again.
Review 2:Bit of a walk from the station or to the ocean. On the pricey side for a small town.
Review 3:Really nice interior, comfy and cozy. Run by a friendly couple. They've cleverly set it up to quickly convert from a home to a B&B.
Review 4:Slight hiccup about breakfast times. We were told it was until 9.30 but the website said 10.00am. However, once I pointed this out Sue agreed and it wasn't a problem.
Review 5:The location was good, beds were really comfortable and I asked for a quiet room and we were given a room at the back - ideal. Sue and Graeme were really friendly and very knowledgeable about the area
Review 6:Shared breakfast table would not always be our choice - but the breakfast was grand and little alternative to shared table in available space
Review 7:Breakfast service - marvellous Friendly helpful reception Tea tray and biscuits in the room and bottled water offered Parking Room comfortable
Review 8:We stayed in the 'small double' which was more than adequate- the only issue was the shower, which wasn't very powerful.
Review 9:The location was excellent, close to the Town Centre. The owners were friendly and very accommodating. The guest house was very clean and tidy and the breakfast of good quality. Free cold bottled water was provided, which was a nice touch.
Review 10:The rooms are extremely dated and could do with an update but this would not stop me from staying in future as the location is spot on (few mins walk to main high street)
Review 11:Room was spacious with lots of light - we were at the front of the house looking onto the road but good windows meant road noise was not an issue. Plentiful complimentary tea/coffee/biscuits/chocs in the room.
Review 12:Friendly welcoming. Brilliant breakfast - first class. Room comfortable as were beds. Close proximity to Town and local amenities. Look forward to going back at some point.
Review 13:I booked in the morning for the same day and arrived in the evening. As I was leaving early to catch a ferry some breakfast items were left out for me to help myself. Quiet and comfortable room and friendly welcome.
Review 14:It was all good. No negative comments to add!
Review 15:We were made to feel so welcome. There is a really homely atmosphere about this lovely Guest House and it's only a couple of minutes from the High Street. We didn't want to leave.
Review 16:I thought it a bit expensive
Review 17:Property chosen for proximity to Isle of Wight Ferry terminal. Owners were helpful and professional. Breakfast was good with a variety of dishes.
Review 18:Horrid old rough scratchy brown or purple towels that had been washed too often Worn and faded purple bed sheets Colour scheme of room not pleasant Decor - too many patterns, ornaments
Review 19:Excellent location and it was quiet
Review 20:Good location, Sue & Graham really friendly and looked after guests; the B&B has a family atmosphere and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay there and will go again.
Review 21:This was a great lovely and comfortable home to stay at with a good location to the main street. We enjoyed our stay and actually extended it as the host recommended a trip to the Isle of Wight, which we were so glad we did.
Review 22:Unusual in this day and age that you cannot pay by card. Car park rather small.
Review 23:Graham and Sue were very welcoming and friendly. Room was large and light. wi-fi worked well. Breakfast was excellent.
Review 24:WiFi was very patchy, Bedroom was cramped due to a second bed (family room) which left room for only one chair to sit on, also as far as we know there was no guest lounge.
Review 25:Off road parking. Walking distance to local restaurants and shops
Review 26:Wifi hit and miss and breakfast could have been more choice in the cook range fried bread hash brown , black pudding baked beans etc - but ok
Review 27:very clean and friendly owners.
Review 28:not much, but not a great fan of communal breakfast tables, shower was a bit of a dribble,
Review 29:Really easy to find, great pub opposite, parking no problem, delicious breakfast, wifi worked a treat, comfy bed, spotlessly clean, loads of tea & coffee & biscuits, friendly hosts
Review 30:Friendliness of owner. The fact they had taken note that I like plain yogurt so there was some for breakfast. Beautifully cooked breakfast, attention to detail, everything cooked as it should be. I would definitely stay there again. Easy walk round to the High Street and all the shops and excellent cafes.
Review 31:Very friendly owners. Nice room with super comfy bed. Lovely breakfast with all the guests around one table. Great location with on site parking. We would stay there again.
Review 32:No choice of duvet tog. Needed more opinions - like a cosy fleece blanket, especially when it is very cold. Herbal teas would have been good too in the bedroom. Non slip bathroom mat. Quite dangerous on tiles not having one. Lack of tourist info.
Review 33:Warmth. Leaving the heating on through the night when it was cold. Excellent breakfast, best I've ever had. Dark bedroom to help sleep. Location. Easy going, friendly hosts.

Review 37:This is a lovely Bed and Breakfast, very centrally located in the picturesque town of Lymington. The hosts were accommodating in that they provided our breakfast earlier on Sunday morning than the norm. The breakfast as well was delicious, with really great bacon. We really enjoyed our stay and would visit again.

Review 40:There were no problems
Review 41:We arrived fairly late but were immediately made to feel welcome by our host. He had organised adjoining double rooms even though we were staying as single guests. The rooms were generous in size with additional comfortable chairs as well as a comfortable bed. We needed an early start which was provided with a hearty breakfast.
Review 42:We've stayed in Lymington before but much farther out. Auplands is only 100 yds from the High Street but still pretty quiet. Great breakfast and very comfortable room. If only all b&bs were to this standard.
