Reviews for Moon in the Apple Tree

Review 1:restricted hours for using upstairs loo (just outside our room) made it a minor nuisance to have to go downstairs in middle of night...

Review 2:The breakfast was superb - yummy fresh blueberries, delicious quality meusli and granola, yogurt, house specail summer porridge, fresh ground coffee, and cooked breakfast too! Julie even made me a fresh honey lemon and ginger for my sore throat. Both Tor and Julie are warm freindly and helpful hosts.

Review 3:Poor washing facilities, tiny sink in toilet . Had to use bathroom downstairs as shower not working near room

Review 4:Location. Very hospitable hosts. Delicious breakfast , plenty of choice and excellent local food

Review 5:You are right in the centre of the town and yet it is quiet. Tor and Julie have created a home in which you feel truly welcome and part of the unique Glastonbury aura.

Review 6:Very noisy house, couldn't sleep due to snoring and other noises for the first night, second night I was given earplugs, slept slightly better but not ideal. The garden plus entrance to the house is dark and pretty treacherous at night-time and should have a proper outdoor lighting. No mention of a dog in the description, as I have asthma and am allergic to dogs - so I wouldn't have booked somewhere with animals. The downstairs toilet which we needed to use during night, had the named large dog sleeping in it the first night, which was a bit of a shock when you step inside, drowsy, in the middle of the night. Even though the owners are friendly, the lack of sleep I experienced in this place as well as no mention of a dog, made my stay not very comfortable.

Review 7:Friendly owners, clean and tidy, great central location, nice breakfast.

Review 8:Difficult to locate, Difficult to bring the lagguage to the Room, because of the stairs No access to the shower/toilet whenever you wanted, Not worth the price

Review 9:The host and the breakfast was very good

Review 10:Owners were very attentive and took great care of us. Tor offers tours of the area, sadly we were not able to take a tour with him, but he is a very knowledgable and interesting person. We would strongly recommend making an arrangement with him in advance.

Review 11:That I could not stay longer.

Review 12:Great, central location - but the property feels very private & peaceful. Both Tor & J are knowledgable of the area, are warm, friendly & go out of their way to make your stay wonderful.

Review 13:I found this bed and breakfast hard to find. I would recommend getting clear directions from the owners

Review 14:This is a lovely friendly relaxed place to stay which would be a perfect base for a holiday in the area. The breakfast was full of delicious treats served in the warm family kitchen.

Review 15:The bathroom facilities are very compact - just a little more space and full size sink would make it more workable. Lucky I am quite small!

Review 16:This really was home from home - the bed was heavenly, the breakfast healthy, nutritious with plenty of choice. The hosts were truly welcoming.

Review 17:I loved the atmosphere. Julie and Tor were very welcoming and extremely knowledgeable about the Glastonbury area. Breakfast was the best meal I've had in the UK and the room and bed were charming, comfortable. All around this small B&B is exactly what a vacationer or spiritual visitor to Glastonbury needs to feel welcomed. I will be returning. :D

Review 18:Very hard to find need better signs :) A little inconvenient to not be able to use the upstairs toilet during the night although there is a lovely downstairs toilet No television which was a surprise but fitted with the ethos of the hosts may be would be an idea to consider

Review 19:Close to town centre Very very welcoming hosts Very comfortable and clean Excellent home cooked breakfast catering to the healthy and full English breakfast to order Lovely atmosphere

Review 23:Tor,Julie and Sage are sweet and made us very welcome.Room is a clean white sanctuary that's comfortable and spotless.Breakfast is a real feast and nothing is too much trouble as my dietary allergies ,offen an issue when we travel, were taken in stride .Its less than 5 minutes slow walk to Glastonbury centre so brilliant position to explore.

Review 24:Shared bathroom - but room was incredibly good value. More info on finding the B&B.
