Reviews for The Pyjama Factory

Review 1:could do with a lick of paint in some places shared washing machine (but the other people did not seem to use it a lot so we never struggled)

Review 2:excellent location tidy apartment with good facilities helpful staff who responded to queries quickly

Review 3:I was in the ground floor apt The noise from above was horrendous, had two family's over our stay with young children an we were waken @6.30am every morning, would stay here again but not in this apt

Review 4:Location, cleanliness,comfortable

Review 5:The email informing is which unit was ours arrived after we had left i.e. too late and there was a bit of confusion when we arrived. We left a note to say that the teapot needed replacing as the lid was broken and tipped into the scalding tea which was dangerous the tin opener did not work at all several blinds were broken and could not be raised which made the apartment dark downstairs during the day. We thought the confirmation of booking was rather vague and described the accommodation as one room.

Review 6:Location great right in the middle of Bushmills and close to everything Very clean and comfy Well equipped

Review 7:It can be a bit noisy from the apartment above. Not anyone's fault but I think it is the way the apartments were built.

Review 8:The apartment was clean and well presented. The beds were comfortable and it was lovely to have a walk in shower. The kitchen was well equipped. There was parking next to the apartment and we had the use of a washing machine.

Review 9:The guests in the apartment above us where unbelievable loud music going until 10am the next morning .none of the 4 of us got any sleep the second night we stayed...several times asking them to turn music down we ended up leaving early the Sunday morning with along drive ahead of us with no sleep!!Could not fault the apartment it was excellent but a bad experience all the same!!

Review 10:Location

Review 11:Not enough toilet roll for 6 people for 2 nights and had to buy more but this could have been a simple mistake

Review 12:Everything was perfect! Would definitely recommend and will definitely be back!

Review 13:This place is very close to a lot of attractions. You have the giants causeway a very short drive away. The carrick a rede rope bridge and of course the Bushmills distillery. The beds were very comfortable. Clean modern and new. Very impressed.

Review 14:Nothing

Review 15:Super clean property, great location for visiting the North Antrim Coast, good facilities, Pleasant, friendly owner. A couple of great Chippers just a minute away!

Review 16:Beware of the high beds if you have small kids. They are great for maximising storage but it's a long way down to the floor. Maybe some optional safety rails could be provided for visitors will small children.

Review 17:Walking distance to amenities and attractions of the town, distillery, cafes, Bushmills Inn and the path to Portballintrae and Giants Causeway.

Review 18:It wasnt a bad experience, but for my 2.1/2 year old the beds were very high and I was just worried about her falling out so we made a bed up on the floor for her as she is too big for a travel cot... But that was my only issue, otherwise - perfect for groups of people wanting a mini break away x

Review 19:The apartment was nice and clean, comfortable beds and good facilities for the money we paid. (4 adults and 2 children) We had ample room and it was in a great location for our visit to The Giants Causeway. Nice restaurants and shops close by too!

Review 20:The sofa is very uncomfortable, sinking right to the ground when sat upon. My elderly mum couldn't sit on it as all. An extra double duvet would've been an idea as an adult was sleeping in one of the single beds. It could do with a larger television also. The outside of the propert is a little disappointing there are no references to the Pyjama Factory, maybe a mural of pyjamas on a washing line would be nice. There is also no indication inside of the history of the building which would also be a nice touch.

Review 21:The property is very deceiving, we had an upstairs apartment which was great. It was absolutely spotless and well presented. We were greeted by the owner who told us the history of the name. The kitchen facilities are excellent, everything was thought of. The beds are very comfortable too.

Review 22:We did not find anyone for the keys, and only because the kindness of people the owner was coming.

Review 23:the bar in town -it is an hotel- where we went to eat.

Review 24:We were given a wifi code but couldn't get it to work. But we hadn't expected wifi so were not disappointed.

Review 25:large open plan group space, 11 of us shared 2 6 bed apartments, but one apartment had enough communal space for us all to sit/ eat/ chat and drink together in the evenings. Very well equipped kitchen really comfortable beds and lots of hot water. Good price, ample parking and Location location location- Wow Thanks we all had a wonderful time.

Review 26:poor arrangements to enter building; wifi never worked; washer and dryer are one unit, shared with entire building; first batch of laundry had stains that were not there when put in machine

Review 27:good location

Review 28:aparment was so well insulated that it was if anything too warm even without heating, and the disabled bathroom facility meant that the wash hand basin is tiny and very low - but only a very minor niggle!

Review 29:friendly host, apartment easy to find and very clean, spacious and well laid out, easy parking, Bushmills on the doorstep with lots of good pubs and restaurants

Review 30:Great place, a converted industrial building, done up beautifully! Excellently appointed facility, not too far from great pubs, restaurants and takeaways. Highly recommended!

Review 31:A couple of door knobs came off - nothing that a screwdriver wouldn't fix.

Review 32:Cute, clean accommodation in bushmills. Well situated for giants causeway, dunluce castle, Portrush beaches etc. Fantastic scenery. Visitor Centre has good info about bushmills, very friendly staff.

Review 33:Wi-fi just would not work. Sofas looked nice but had no support (knees under chin when sat down). Just small things. Overall a great little place - WILL stay again.

Review 34:Bright, clean, modern accommodation. Lovely little en-suite to the master bedroom. Kitchen was good with plenty of utensils.

Review 35:Need a few hooks for hanging coats. A very minor detail but would make the apartment perfect.

Review 36:Lots of different places to eat and all reasonably priced. Fish and chips second to none! Good location for touring the Causeway coast. Convenient for shops and all amenities. Wi Fi very useful.

Review 37:Difficult to reach someone on arrival to get the key.

Review 38:Sofa was a bit low for my aunt who in her 60's springs had gone.

Review 39:Lovely spacious accommodation.

Review 40:Lovely, well appointed and equipped flat. Great central location. helpful and kind people.

Review 41:Very nice property, close to restaurant, pubs shop ,cafe and only sort drive to beach I mile

Review 42:Great location for the Causeway. A good choice of cafes and restaraunts. Easy to find and good parking.

Review 43:Wifi didn't work.

Review 44:Excellent location and a top quality apartment.

Review 45:The apartment was very spacious, very nicely decorated with all amenities , and centrally located.

Review 46:Nothing of significance

Review 47:Location, cleanliness, friendly host, good facilities.

Review 48:Very comfortable and spacious apartment, perfect as a base for exploring all that the north coast has to offer

Review 49:This is a lovely place, we were made to feel very welcome. Thanks again.

Review 50:TV was a little small and could hear the upstairs apartment

Review 51:Clean and spacious accommodation. Towels provided and excellent location

Review 52:Checking in was not a good experience. Despite the fact that there was a key safe it took two telephone calls before someone turned up with keys.

Review 53:Everything was great.

Review 54:The location, comfy beds, great facilities, super hot showers. Garry, the owner, could not have been more helpful.

Review 55:location

Review 56:Only thing missing was a toaster - or perhaps we couldn't find it!

Review 57:Loads of hot water, very comfortable beds, good sized bathroom.

Review 58:Parking A little noisy in mornings

Review 59:Clean Wifi Well kitted out Can walk to great restaurants/cafes Power Velux windows

Review 60:Lack of signage on building

Review 61:Roomy apartment nicely refurbished. Lots of local attractions.

Review 62:Leaving

Review 63:Location.Close to Copper Kettle for an excellent range of breakfast ideas and five minutes amble to Bushmills Hotel which was such good value for dinner we went both nights of our stay

Review 64:There is no name on this facility so we had to assume we had the right place and call the proprietor. He was out of town so a family member described on the phone which units were ours then we had a hard time trying to get the key from the box. We had a really hard time figuring out how to turn on the cook top. there was an instruction sheet on a bulliten board - but it was inadequate. In talking to the proprietor later I think if he had been able to be there and show is around these things would have been solved.

Review 65:Close to giants causeway and the rope bridge & distillory. clean and well stocked with dishes etc. convenient to stores and the visitors center etc

Review 66:It was in a great location, perfect for our needs we were a very diverse group with people from there 40's to there late 80's. We had some of our group who needed disable friendly bathrooms and they were perfect. Everyone in our group was very happy with the facilities and the beds were very comfortable. Garry was very informative and helpful. We will be back again as we love this area of Ireland for its great walks and scenery.

Review 67:Gary was very nice.it was a fue minute from giants causeway.shops.and food and pubs are on the door steps .could not fault anything.we will be going back in The near future thanks again.liz Bernie.patsy.

Review 68:No outside space.

Review 69:Great location, close to restaurants, shops in Bushmills and easy access via car to Giants Causeway,Antrim Coast etc. Modern house with comfortable furnishings.Clever use of space for storage.

Review 70:the sound proofing isnt great, the people upstairs sounded like elephants.

Review 71:it was very nice in general. clean and weel kept up to. modern kitchen, bathroom and facilities. good location for touring the northern ireland coast.

Review 72:Can't think of anything!

Review 73:What a wonderful place! The rooms are small but so well laid out that it doesn't matter. Everything was new and good quality and it all worked (we've been touring and this is the first place where nothing was broken or missing). Also incredibly cosy - we had to open the windows at night because it is so well insulated. Plus a short walking distance to good cafés.

Review 74:We found a few things didn't work...remote velux system, light in bin/washing machine room/TV remote (this was just batteries but not something that we thought we would have to purchase) and we did try and contact owner to ask about velux window but we got no response. Didn't like that the main door was right on the road with no barrier as we have young kids.

Review 75:Inside is lovely. Clean and modern...great location for visiting causeway coast, port rush which are beautiful places to visit. We hired 2 apartments side by side which was ideal for the numbers we had.

Review 76:Place has no sign so it was not clear we had arrived at the correct location. Wifi was not functional

Review 77:Plenty of space in the unit Owner very cordial-called in advance to confirm we were coming

Review 78:Right in the heart of the little town of Bushmills, everything we wanted was within walking distance. The apartment we stayed in was beautiful, very clean and warm with all of the facilities we could wish for. It's a fairly recent conversion (the building looks to be in ruins on Google Streetview, but don't let that put you off - it's been converted since then) and it's extremely well insulated and equipped. We found the beds very comfortable and slept very well. The owner met us on arrival and was very helpful and informative. When I texted him the next day with a minor query he called me back right away. The wifi worked perfectly for us. One thing to note: one of our group is American, and her Samsung phone didn't initially see any wifi signal. She had to dig around in the settings to find some "wifi region" setting and change it from it's "US" to "Europe" setting, or something like that. Then it worked fine. My Google Nexus 4 phone just connected straight away. I don't understand why wifi would vary by region, and her phone worked fine elsewhere in Ireland without changing any settings, but this may be something for US visitors to check, if they have difficulty seeing wifi signals in some places in Europe. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Pyjama Factory and highly recommend it to anyone looking to stay somewhere in the Bushmills area. And don't miss the tour of the Old Bushmills Distillery while you're there... :-)

Review 79:The beds were horrible, both my husband and I could not sleep on them. We were both in pain both nights we were there. Also we didn't have the internet and it took forever to get a hold of owner to tell him.

Review 80:The location was perfect for our needs.

Review 81:It's not what I didn't like, but something that would really help families...especially those arriving late at night. It would be nice to have a small container of milk and some cereal, bread & jams or porridge. Something small so the guests don't have to run out 1st thing in the morning.

Review 82:Plenty of space for the family, great location & wifi in the room. Also, I always love a hotel that has everything in the room. The kitchen & living areas had all we need including a DVD player built into the TV. Everyone was happy.

Review 83:Top apartment would benefit from more soundproofing

Review 84:Convenience to Bushmills town centre Comfortable and clean Everything we needed was there Lovely welcome from Gary

Review 85:Excellent location for the Giant's Causeway and Bushmills Distillery and Antrim Coast. Superbly clean house with comfortable and practical accommodation. Warm and friendly welcome!

Review 86:Living space with six people a little cramped, only enough space for four ppl on sofas. Other two had to sit on dining room seats. Only thing I can think. It was all good though

Review 87:Location was brilliant close to restaurants, bars n shops.

Review 88:Great location, very clean house and good value for money. House has all home comforts, dishwasher, en suite, free wi-if etc. definately recommend.

Review 89:The whole apartment was excellent. My husband loved the shower. Great equipment in the kitchen. Just loved it

Review 90:Great location, friendly staff who left us overstay on our last day without any issue. Really enjoyed and will recommend in future.

Review 91:Owners could only be reached by phone. They never appeared.

Review 92:Good location for town & near Giants Causeway

Review 93:Comfort and layout. Facilities

Review 94:Centrally located in town; friendly proprietor; well stocked for self-catering; clean.

Review 95:Friendly and accomodating owner. Comfortable accomodation. Very suitable for families
