Review 1：Disappointed overall with the hotel facilities - our cats would have loved the carpet in the bedroom it was so rough - very few amenities and much cheaper hotels provide far better toiletries - the breakfast was basic even by French standards - I would definitely not recommend this hotel and would not choose to stay here again - very poor value for money.

Review 13：A charming and quiet place to stay in a lovely location with beautiful views over the harbour entrance and sea beyond. The lady who greeted us could not have been more welcoming and the overall atmosphere was wonderfully relaxed. Breakfast was the best type of continental with good bread, pastries, jam and fresh fruit. Don't stay here if you are looking for the amenities / services of a modern hotel, but absolutely do if you value charm and authenticity.

This wasquite surprising, considerin the owner's daughter is high schoolage, or a bit older, and considering how many English speaking touristsare in Ile De Re (a majority, we were told by a local)...Also, wifi aslimited to the lobby area...No Eglish languge tv, not even bbc or cnn

Review 41：The location was perfect. Right on the doorstep of all the boutiques, bars and restaurants, facing the port and still very tranquil. The decor is exquisite; every little detail is carefully thought out from the linen, toiletries and beautifully home-made breakfast to the delicate positioning of reading material. Extremely classy and elegant.

Thick bathrobes and a lovely warm room in the middle of February. Very friendly receptionist. Large interesting lounge at one's disposal with plenty of books and information about the area.
