Reviews for Golden Crown - Levin Iglut
Review 1:Nothing. Igloos are a little overlooked, but this did not bother us. Also, as some reviewers have noted, they are quite close to houses and ski slopes, this again was irrelevant to us, but it may help with expectations to know they are not in a totally isolated spot.
Review 2:A snowy wilderness with breathtaking scenery. Not too far apart from civilisation but you feel a million miles away. For us this was reassuring as our son has had some health problems in the past. The communal hut is a great resource and we cooked our tea on the open fire whilst chatting to other residents, all in anticipation of aurora making an appearance, which it did, despite reports stating unlikely. It was an amazing night with a sky so clear all the star formations were visible, alongside shooting stars and a brief show of the Northern Lights to round it off. The igloos are beautiful and feel surprisingly spacious; I did not want to sleep as was in awe of my surroundings and this once in a lifetime experience ❄️❄️❄️
Review 3:Beware of hitting your head as u walked close to the window panels! Most likely you will hit the slanted window panes. Toaster will set off the fire alarm during toasting, don't panic. It will cease once your bread is done. That's the funny part. Continental breakfast was bit simple and little in my opinion: 4 slices of white bread for toasting, 2 slices of cheese and ham each, 2 mini jam bottles, 2 cups of yoghurt & 2 green apples.
Review 4:Spent one night in the glass igloo during Christmas period, cosy self-equipped room with clear windows on top of you. Location was good for viewing stars and Northern lights if the weather is clear! If possible, go ahead and book its premium igloo for the mountain top view and better privacy.
Review 5:The location is very remote and no restaurant within 5km. Staffs are not on duty all the time. But each igloo is equipped with kitchen so we can buy something to cook.
Review 6:We like the glass roof and enjoyed a starry night with aurora. The rooms and facilities are new and clean.
Review 7:Not as isolated as I thought initially. And if you are not lucky with the weather, it can be a very disappointing visit. But it's nobody's fault and it's one of the things nobody can control.
Review 8:One of the very special places in the world. Wonderful hostess. Good kitchen equipments.
Review 9:The entire stay was magical. Totally worth the cost!
Review 10:Unique design and great experience staying in an igloo
Review 11:Absolutely lovely rooms and privacy for 2. Great view, good service.
Review 12:Amazing facilities. Super friendly owner and staff members. Life-time experience for our first visit to the artic circle.
Review 13:Quiet place, great scenery, helpful and very kind staff.
