Reviews for Currypool Mill
Review 1:Not a negative point but bathroom could do with a little shelf for somewhere to put your toothbrush etc.
Review 2:Lovely little log cabin set amongst beautiful gardens, with a river running behind it. There are also donkeys and chickens on the peaceful beautiful grounds. The cabin had everything we needed, it was comfortable and clean with comfortable bed and the location is amazing. Just the relaxing break that we needed.
Review 3:This is not a negative review, I just want to make you aware of this hazard, so you can resolve it. There was no towel rail in the bathroom, also, when you stepped out of the room after having a shower, the wooden flooring in the hallway was extremely slippery, my husband nearly fell, luckily he managed to jump onto the bedroom carpet. He is a very tall chap, and if he had fallen he would have hurt himself really badly. Please put down some sort of carpet/ rug for safety reasons, so no one does the same and really gets hurt.
Review 4:The chalet was a really pleasant surprise, We really didn't want expect it to be so spacious, light, bright and airy. The beds were extremely comfortable. Love the setting, sat and watched a mother and her baby duck just in the stream outside the chalet. So relaxing.
Review 5:Gorgeous site, clean, quiet yet loads of space for the kids to run around with a football, spotlessly clean, cosy and comfortable accommodation, friendly staff and a good base for day trips, we all enjoyed it and will be back again to recharge our batteries soon.
Review 6:Log Cabin in a quiet position with a small river running either side. Excellent accommodation and very friendly people. Very well situated for Somerset Levels, Quantocks and Exmoor.
Review 7:The value for money of the Shepherd's Retreat was great. We were able to relax in the lounge and did not have to go out for food, which we would have done had we stayed in an hotel. Despite being cold outside it was very warm inside. We also had a very good night's sleep after attending a relative's wedding.
Review 8:Only a mile or so from village but right in the quiet countryside. Log cabin more roomy than typical B&B. Included wet room. Very comfortable bed and sitting room. Clean and fresh. Farm setting with meadows, streams, garden and patio.
Review 9:nothing to not like. Slightly off the beaten track for some people but it was fine for us.
