Review 1：Great location for centre of village, but quiet and calm. Excellent staff, very helpful. Clarins spa well worth a visit. Will book a suite for next trip - worth the cost for the extra space.

Review 5：Well designed hotel with 2 swimming pools, one for families with children, one for adults. Very nice location, very friendly staff. Coffee machine in room, hmmmmm, very nice! Cosy and private atmosphere.

Review 6：This was our second visit to the Clos St Martin, it is a wonderful hotel. We got an upgraded room which was very spacious and comfortable. The staff are excellent, all very friendly and efficient and the surroundings are just beautiful.

Review 9：The bed is an economy memory foam mattress which has remembered all previous guests, leaving two deep indentations. It is extremely uncomfortable and sweaty not helped by the poly/cotton sheets. I asked the staff three times if anything could be done but it was the same for all four nights we were there. Left feeling exhausted

Review 21：We loved the style and design of the rooms - our room wasn't large but had everything we needed with a nice view over one of the pools. The outside courtyard round this pool was delightful and the other pool was also attractive. There is no restaurant but this is a positive advantage as there are so many lovely places to eat within 10 minutes walk.

The adults only pool was glorious after a hot day sightseeing and the location, tucked away in a corner was lovely ideal. Car parking was fun! We will return as we fell in love with the Isle De Re.

Outdoor temps were in the 60s, so opening a windowwould have been a good solution, but the design of the room precludedthis because there were no windows, only the french doors opening on tothe pool area.

About two weeksbefore arrival, I e-mailed about restaurant advice and making dinnerreservations, and was impressed with the quick and thorough responses Ireceived. I also loved the water temp in the heated swimming pools --air temps were in the high 60s but the pools were so comfortable. Theonly hard part was getting out! Hotel location was ideal, at the end ofthe port. We loved the beautiful walk into the main part of town. Welook forward to returning to this hotel -- it was a great find.
