Reviews for Drumnadrochit Lodges

Review 2:We received a warm welcome & owner was available throughout stay. Amazing views, clean, well equipped lodge, a home from home. All mod-cons.Picnic table outside on grass area.

Review 3:nothing we did not like but some guests may not like remote location, car needed to access lodges one mile off main road

Review 4:tranquil,spectacular views over loch ness peace & quiet , good nights sleep every night home from home fixtures & equipment

Review 5:The view is phenomenal. The accomodation is spotless. Very well equipped kitchen. Plenty of heating.Owner helpful and friendly. Would recommend and stay again. Take your own hairdryer

Review 6:Nothing.

Review 7:Beautiful location with wonderful windows through out lodge. Very well stocked with all the needs you might have during your stay. Furniture was modern and clean. Especially loved the heated beds. Couldn't ask for a better place.

Review 8:Everything, beautiful location and lodge with everything you could need on a self catering holiday. The cream eggs left for the children was a lovely touch at Easter. The wildlife was great with a friendly little visitor each night. lodge 3 has the best view. Alan the owner of the lodge could not be more helpful.

Review 9:Nothing that we didn't like, could not say anything negative about the lodge or surroundings. The only downside for me is that I can't take the dogs to these lodges and would have loved to do this when we go back. Could possible do with wi if

Review 10:Everything from arriving to leaving. The views were fantastic, Alan was so helpful and the lodge was all ready tea coffee milk, also other bits we ate in two nights and there was everything there to cook with like home from home didn't need anything, beds all made up, spotless, will be going back hopefully next year

Review 11:Carpet in bathrooms. We only stayed for 3 days and I would have like top stay for longer.

Review 12:View Well appointed. Spacious. Warm. Great weather. 42" flat screen, DVD & video. Comfy matresses. Loch Ness exhibition Centre & Urqhuart Castle.

Review 13:The electricity needs to be paid aside. You need to insert 1£-coins (first 5£ are free) so keep 1£-coins with you! The cleaning as to be made before leaving, don't forget it. Fortunately, there was a very good vacuum cleaner.

Review 14:The lodges are situated in the top of a hill. This means that you have a fantastic view from the living room (and the kitchne and the garden) to the hills and the valley near the loch ness. The downside of this is that the one-track road to access it can be quite impressive as it rise fast! The lodges-keeper is there to explain you everything and to help you in case of problems. He is passionated and a true Scottish. The lodge is spacious and well equiped (fridge, freezer, hoven, enough plates and pans,...).

Review 15:Nothing, you would have to be hyper critical to find fault.

Review 16:The lodge was quality throughout with furnishings and utilities, the view from our Lodge 5 of the Loch & the mountains was truly beautiful with the sun streaming down.

Review 17:We loved the lodge, a warm friendly greeting awaited us on arrival, drinks provided too after a long journey! The lodge had everything... remote location and peaceful yet close enough to Inverness for shops, wildlife and lots of tourist activities but also the appliances in-lodge for everything you need!

Review 18:That we only booked for 2 days! I recommend atleast 4.

Review 19:Everything! The owners were very helpful. The location was fantastic. View was amazing. Cabin was wonderful.

Review 20:I only wished that we could have stayed more than three nights. It was a beautiful location and our cabin overlooked Loch Ness. We were traveling with our two teen age daughters and the cabin was large and comfortable with even a big screen TV and recliners so that we were able to watch Wimbleton and World Cup in the evenings. The kitchen was the best equipped kitchen that we have ever encountered on vacation and it was a pleasure to cook dinners there after eating in restuarants for several days. The owners were very attentive and helpful. In short, we simply loved the accomodations and the area!

Review 21:Had thought apartment had views over the Loch,as in photos, but it didnt. Some of the apartments had Loch views, would still recommend, very relaxing.

Review 22:Spacious apartment, comfortable beds, not far from Loch Ness.

Review 23:After traveling through the main cities we were craving some space and privacy for our boys to run around. It was a perfect spot and comfortable but it glamorous. A good hilltop lodge. Hosts were very helpful with good recommendations, especially the Fiddlers restaurant near by which was great.

Review 24:The spacious chalets were very comfortable, clean and well equipped. The staff and the views were fantastic. Only a few minutes drive to the village inn and shops and a good base for touring.

Review 51:Leaving

Review 52:Absolutely everything did not want to leave

Review 53:You really need a car to reach the lodges up the hill (Drumnadrochit is extremely well reachable by public transportation from Inverness, but the hill to the lodges is very steep and quite some distance (a few miles) and a hike to the lodges really isn't feasible); only a single towel per person per stay (actually, a hand towel and a bath towel per person per stay), so bring your own if you stay for more than a few days.

Review 54:Beautiful mountaintop view of Loch Ness area; extremely friendly staff; lodge fully equipment for long stay (separate refrigerator and freezer, washer/dryer combination, oven, extensively equipped with kitchen utensils, there was even a pizza slicer!, and much more); deers and other animals in the area (you might spot some right next to the lodge); easily accessible to Drumnadrochit itself (by car, not by foot!) which has the very lovely Fiddler's restaurant.

Review 55:We had trouble getting the Combination of the TV and the cable box to be properly configured even after Allen came to help us. That was probably good though as it forced us to get out and explore the area.

Review 56:Unit 4 was assigned to us. It was in excellent condition. Allen was very responsive and helpful.

Review 57:Breakfast option would have been good. Even otherwise it is excellent cottage.

Review 58:Cottage was really nice

Review 59:Very nice and quite

Review 60:There was no wifi available

Review 61:Everything. The House is all new in a beautiful quiet place close to Loch Ness and Urquhart Castle

Review 62:Nothnin

Review 63:Good location, great view, clean unit, good size

Review 64:Everything.

Review 65:View and comfort of the lodges

Review 66:Shower's water pressure could use a boost.

Review 67:Beautiful scenery overlooking Loch Ness.
