Review 1：The room was comfortable and well equipped. The staff were pleasant and helpful. It was very close to my car hire return. There was a selection of places to eat nearby. The rates were very reasonable.

Review 2：Noisy air con / heater. Broken kettle. Under flight path from airport plane noise all the time poor double glazing units complains to reception they said they would get someone to look into it still no kettle on the day we left ??

Review 3：The room was really really cold. I told receptionists in the morning, she tried to fix with air conditioner which she thought that was a heater. But only cold air coming. My room was non-smoking room, but smelled horrible. Moreover, A bus which supposed to come never showed up. So i had to take a taxi to come and go both. It was 10£ each to get there and an airport.

Review 4：Close to the airport. A Staff working at night was really friendly and helpfu. Not day time. Plenty of tea, coffee and cookies.

Review 5：None of the rooms have phones. There are only two outlets in the room and one of them didn't work. There was black mould growing all over the bathroom ceiling. Not good.

Review 7：Dreadful breakfast. Previous experience of Days Inn continental breakfast has been excellent. This was truly awful - Rice cakes(!), horribly sweet little muffins, yoghurt sweets(!).A bottle of orange juice was the saving grace.

Review 8：At the time of my booking, I enclosed a message asking for details re shuttle to the hotel. I did not hear from you and called the night before my arrival and was told by the receptionist (not the one I met) that you were within walking distance. This was a blantant lie as I found out when I arrived at Stansted airport after a whole day of travelling. Unfortunately you must be aware that people in general remember the one bad thing even if ther are a 100 good things. It was an unnecessary lie that put me in a stressful situation in a foreign place. Should I have been told the truth, I would have gone straight to the taxi rank instead of going outside trying to find out which way to walk ...

Review 9：The room was clean, spacious, comfortable and the receptionist very pleaseant

Review 10：Only a couple of miles from Stansted. We had an early flight so perfect. Stayed here before and will do so again, staff very friendly and helpful. For an overnight stop in a service station it is surprisingly quiet so you can get a good night sleep after a long journey with an early start.

Review 11：I was told I was been given a smoking and I accepted it but didn't for a moment imagine a room could reek so much of cigarette smoke. It was overwhelming and the only reason I didn't ask for a change of room was it was 12 midnight and I was leaving at 3.30 a.m. I felt nauseous and had to cover my mouth with a duvet.

Review 12：Pleasant and helpful reception staff on arrival. Morning call was appreciated. Bed linen clean and bathroom to an acceptable standard.

However this has not been available for a couple of years so we had to get up early enough to catch a local bus over to Stansted. This entailed a dark and muddy climb down a verge and across a busy road. This was neither safe, easy or advisable with a suitcase and being visually impaired. We would not have booked here if we had known there was no shuttle.... It was very basic and only suitable for a quick overnight stay before a flight. It's cheap, but choose a better quality place if you can!

Review 41：Well sited close to Stansted, and next to the motorway services, this hotel is next to the food courts and shops at the services. We enjoyed fish and chips at Harry Ramsdens, just a very short walk away from the hotel.

Review 49：Great price not too far from the airport. Friendly and helpful staff who arranged a taxi for our early flight the next morning. The room was very large and we had everything we needed. Several options to get dinner the night before a flight. 24 hour front desk made it easy for travelers.

Review 50：Stayed there numerous times with no problem. This time mattress was very poor. Like sleeping on mountain side with bumps as it dipped badly in the middle with springs coming through. Tea tray not made up, no milk, tea and only one coffee. Makes it more disappointing as the price has gone up since the last stay.

Review 52：Location - hard to get there without a taxi from the airport. We took a recommended bus from the airport which ended up driving us further away from the hotel. Paid 7 from the bus and then 11 for a taxi because it was after midnight. We took a taxi to bishops stroford train station to get to London (paid around 8£) and then took a train to London Take a taxi from the airport (stansted) it will cost you around 8-9£

Review 54：No hot water during out stay for a shower. Hotel was in a service area/petrol station type place. The staff told us on the phone that it would be awkward getting a bus from Stansted and recommended a specific taxi service which cost £10. In reality, the bus stop was right at the hotel, and the bus was only £1.50 per person. I thought this was dishonest, they must have links with taxi service?

Review 56：The path from the bus stop to the hotel is a bit impervious and slippery when it rains, but you can take a taxi form the airport that costs only 10 pounds.

Mould in the bathroom, fan not working. Tea and coffee not restocked. No duvet or blanket for the bed which was had an awful mattress, had to use tools to give the bed some substance... it didn't improve matters. Just not nice.

Review 108：The room was so cold upon entering the member of your staff that helped me to my room said the window was left open. Do when he left I went to shut the window but found that it was in fact shut and the room was just extremely cold. So upon further investigation trying to warm the room found only a 70's style old air conditioning unit that blew out only cold air was very noisy. So was unable to use it. Luckily they had put me in a family room with a sofa bed made up so was able to put the extra duvet in the bed to enable me to get warm

Plus, on this occasion, we had great problems in locating the hotel (at 1am) because its access road from a roundabout was closed off for roadworks, the only entrance being by using the exit road, and, worse, with no information supplied about this situation beforehand..

Not much around the area but perfect location if you have early flight and you're just looking for a place where to sleep in between flights. Dining hall with burger king, Starbucks pizza John's and other at 3 min walking from the hotel. Quite clean
