Reviews for Arte & Mare Luxury Suites & Spa

Review 1:Everything was perfect , but just a little touch of luxury if the toiletries were more better quality but that's it. Ordering lunch on the beach is amazing .

Review 2:Friendly and polite staff, this place is right on the beach so was very very luxurious and beautiful . Highly recommended. Book ASAP !!!!!

Review 3:Quiet for the time of year, we visited mid October, though suited me fine, my husband would have liked a bit more 'life' Pool was cold and is a bit small - but is so near the beach......... Really nice overall, though not really what I would consider 5 star as advertised

Review 4:Staff were very attentive, electrical problem on first evening and upgrade to bigger room with Jacuzzi was provided! :-) Shuttle Bus was brilliant and we made good use of this service Rooms were clean, good sized fridge, kettle etc., and all that was needed to make a small meal/snack Prominent position on the beach, literally a minute walk, nice beach area with decent sunbeds too Breakfast provided was of a fair quality, pretty much as expected Weather was amazing for the time of year! I would return to both the island and Arte & Mare

Review 5:A bit expensive even with the nice view. It was no longer high season when we went. But still decent value.

Review 6:Maria the receptionist being very helpful in recommending places to see. They also accepted U.S. and had our room ready at 6am which we didn't expect.

Review 7:One week is too less to be on this so nice place!

Review 8:Location. Service is 5*. Employees always with a smile and looking for you. Hotel manager is very pleasent and always available.

Review 9:nothing about the resort only that Mykonos is way too windy!.. perhaps have a heated pool so it's not too cold in the water and when getting out of the pool?

Review 10:The resort is great!

Review 11:We were here for our daughter's wedding. It was spectacular and the resort was amazing. Maria and the staff were so willing to work with us to make the wedding a very special day. This is a resort I would go back to in a minute. Everything from the accommodations to the food were great. We thank you for making this special day Perfect.

Review 12:I booked the presidential suite 4 months beforehand and when we arrived was told it was occupied - seems to happen quite often at this resort, I was compensated though.

Review 13:The staff are friendly

Review 14:You need transport - there are only two bars and two restaurants in the vicinity. No shops within easy walking distance. Restaurant expensive

Review 15:The breakfast is wonderful! Staff all very helpful and friendly. Four poster double sun-loungers by the pool lovely. Sunbeds and bar service at the beach great. Restaurant food good and outdoor music great.

Review 16:We would have nothing really negative to say. Possibly, a little spoiler to the whole perfect experience was the bathroom. Still spacious and fully functioning, but overall one star below the rest of the suite. Also, we wish the WiFi was stronger and more available during the day. However, we will definitely be back :-)

Review 17:Staff are fantastic, highly professional, empathetic. Little courtesy surprises all along our stay. Ideal for family, very children friendly, abundance, great setting with suites around the pool, great service on the beach, no stress about finding sunbeds and towels. Great bar and one of the best restaurants on the island. Big star of the establishment, Maria, the hotel manager who's always there and sees everything, showing in practice that her first priority is for the customer to be happy. She thinks for you before you!

Review 18:Very welcoming staff, Very polite. We were 2 couples and had a good time. Ideal also for families or group of friends. Ms Maria and her staff were able to provide us with best room and services (such as rent of the car, perfect recommendations to enjoy the islands, nightlife, restaurants etc) Would recommend the hotel for the location and distance to the amazing beach, the delicious food and the great service provided!

Review 19:Maria was exceptional - nothing was too much trouble and everything was effortless. She personally welcomed us upon arrival and kissed us goodbye when we left - the accommodation in itself was a treat. I do not have a single complaint - our experience was excellent. The food in the restaurant was brilliant - considering you have elia beach bar within a few minutes walk, the food at the restaurant was notably better and the waiting staff were lovely. We are planning on returning next year and hopefully for many years to come.

Review 20:Breakfast was very poor The location of the hotel is very far away from any nearest pharmacy or supermarket Wifi was not that much

Review 21:The hotel located in Ellia beach which is nice and quiet The hotel manager Marian was very friendly we liked her All the staff members was very friendly Food in the beach bar was perfect Beach services perfect There was free shattel to the downtown and free Beach sports was perfect

Review 22:we got a room facing the swimming pool and we spent the four nights in dark, could not open the door to breath as the room is directly open to the pool

Review 23:The hotel team was perfect, highly welcoming us and did answer and react to all our request

Review 24:We loved Maria and her staff. They went above and beyond to help our visit be enjoyable with activities on the island. The ideal location on the beach with amazing breakfast. .

Review 25:Commute to town takes about 20 minutes each way, so you always need transportation. You need a taxi, specially at night.

Review 26:Great location if you really want to enjoy a beach vacation. Maria and her staff goes beyond to take care of their customers. True dedication to makes things perfect for all customers.

Review 27:Rooms are relatively small to accommodate 4 people. Hotel restaurant did not offer great food.

Review 28:Hotel with the access to it's own beach section. Friendly and accommodating staff both in the hotel and at the beach. A quiet area of Mykonos for those looking for quiet evenings.

Review 29:The price of hotel transfer is a bit pricy but then, taxi cost in Mykonos is expensive. Many times the hotel did not answer the telephone which was really annoying!

Review 30:Superbly situated hotel, right at the beautiful Elia beach, amazing view from the room, the size of the room and the bathroom, the friendliness and helpful staff and services (shuttle service was really useful), Breakfast was really great. In overall, I am very satisfied and definitely will be returning on my next visit :)

Review 31:My room was not available with a view they upgraded me but we lost our view which was very disappointing.

Review 32:The staff was excellent. I had booked a room with a sea view unfortunately did not get it. They upgraded the room size but no view so that was disappointing. Other than that the property is 20 min drive from town but great. Be aware it is a clothing optional Beach if you have kids.

Review 33:That was the best choice we could make. Since we came to the hotel we had best care we could dream of.They took care of every little thing so we didnt need to worry about anything.Stuff is really nice and professional. There was a transport from the airport and delicious breakfast.Apartament was very clean and right infront of beautiful beach. If we ever come back to Mykonos that will be the place to stay

Review 34:Ugly old bathroom, horrible furniture, not so clean, gloomy and shady pool area. Rooms are old apartments (think 90's Benidorm) that they insist on calling "suites". Miles from everything. Ridiculous price.

Review 35:The staff are really exceptionally friendly and sweet, all of them.

Review 36:This hotel was amazing! It was steps away from Elia Beach with the rooms overlooking the pool and sea. The room was very comfortable and spacious! The staff were super friendly and they offered a free shuttle service in and out of town three times a day. They have an amazing restaurant overlooking the sea with delicious food!

Review 37:The hot tub didn't work, the water would not warm up. We were told that it was because it was too cold outside for the water to heat up but that doesn't make any sense to me.

Review 38:The breakfast was amazing. The view of the ocean was awesome. The shuttle to and from town was great because we didn't have to worry about paying for transportation. The shuttle also picked us up from the ferry port and brought us to the hotel which made our trip less stressful.

Review 39:Season has begun recently and they need to complete finishing(small issue with tap water supply, but they offered extra room)

Review 40:They try to satisfy my needs(1 night refund)under some unexpected shipment cancellation due to the weather(strong wind).

Review 41:We booked 4 rooms as we were a family group of 12. The feedback was consistent for all 4 rooms: the floors were filthy. 3 of 4 bathrooms smelt of raw sewerage. The bed linen and bathroom linen was of poor quality. Food quality from the restaurant was poor and breakfast was terrible. This hotel boasts 5 Star rating. It is not warranted. This hotel is over priced and less than mediocre. It's saving grace is the staff are extremely polite and accommodating. The worst hotel we've ever stayed at.

Review 42:The beach.

Review 43:We'll, this hotel offers transportation from and to the airport (after we made the reservation we got an email from the hotel letting us know that a driver will be there for us). In addition they offers shuttle to the city 5-6 times a day. All this with no additional cost. The beach, witch was one of the most beautiful beaches I saw, is really close and very relaxing. Stuff stuff stuff..well, I don't think I have the words to express the quality if the service and kindness of the stuff. They will do almost anything for you with a smile. Small example- We took 2 different hotels and after 2 nights they didn't have a problem to take us to the other hotel (with no charge). If we knew all of this in advanced we would have reserve this hotel only. We highly recommend Art&Mare hotel. Thank you

Review 44:Some of the equipments are not 5 star, but this is a personal point of view (the refrigerator in the room was noisy)

Review 45:- Close to the beach - Staff were very helpful and polite, rooms were spotless clean and modern. - Good Wifi in the room - Free transfer from the Hotel and Mykonos City and return -exceptional restaurant (dinner) with very particular plates.

Review 46:This is certainly not a 5* property and the room was not very clean. Shower products were not replaced after the first day

Review 47:The transfers (shuttle) from Elia Beach to Mykonos was very good and staff were very helpful and flexible. They were always available.

Review 48:Everything was amazing. We truly enjoyed staying at the place and Maria is a one fantastic person. If you woul like your dreams to come true as Maria!

Review 49:I think that the main (And only) problem with the hotel was its location. The downside is that it is far away (Twenty minute drive) From downtown. On the other hand, it is right on the waterfront of Elia beach which is one of the best beaches in Mykonos

Review 50:The hotel's staff is comprised from the most caring and amazing people. They made sure that our stay went without a hitch and were receptive to every request. We stayed at the presidential suite which was very comfortable and accomodating. The hotel's private beach is one of the most beautiful and serene beaches in all of Mykonos

Review 51:Nothing

Review 52:I liked everything, the hotel upgrade our 2 rooms to a villa with 3 rooms and private villa, that was very nice, and the staff are incridsble sprcisly Maria, she was so helpfull and she treated us like king:)), i definatly recommend this hotel

Review 53:There was a smell in the room - like rising damp - that would be the only issue...

Review 54:The location was excellent, service was great everybody cares. Would recommend to families....

Review 55:They charged 1/2 of the total booking amount in my credit card. It was done by mistake around 20 days before arrival. Hope they will fix the problem, so it won't happen again. Apart from that, everything was just perfect!

Review 56:The proximity to Elia beach, that is very nice. The staff is really kind and the attention is really good. More than recomended.

Review 57:The staff. ALL staff are exceptionally helpful, polite, and treat you like you are a VIP. The hotel is very close to a wonderful private beach, with clear waters, and breathtaking views.

Review 58:We had a great time. Maria & here staff were amazing & did everything to meet our needs. The hotel is beautiful & very clean. The breakfast was excellent, the beach was beautiful & comfortable. defiantly a place we would like to come back again!!!!

Review 59:Fantastic location, great rooms, superb staff!

Review 60:Maria, the owner, director, is great. Helpful and kind. Thanks for all.

Review 61:Restaurant Espuma, not everybody was sattisfied about dinner.

Review 62:vey kind manager and personel. Great position, beachservice excellent.

Review 63:Wefi

Review 64:The location is great Beautiful view Maria and the whole stuff are great !!! We had a wonderful time and we are definitely !!!coming back

Review 65:Friendly staff and nice location alone do not make a 5 star hotel out of a 3 star.

Review 66:Nice location / nice beach.

Review 67:Jacozi

Review 68:Beach

Review 69:Excellent staff - very welcoming and attentive. Couldn't have treated us better. Dependable shuttle service to Mykonos town. Quiet.

Review 70:Great location, nice beach. We recommend this hotel.

Review 71:Eveerything

Review 72:Hotel staff were friendly and helpful, close to the beach, and free shuttle rides into town

Review 82:i like evry thing

Review 83:The staff is excellent, and deal with the same Mary top taste and the Secretariat cleaning his master because my son forgot money and brought

Review 84:everything was good

Review 85:Some rooms have not a very nice view and the Gym is pretty small

Review 86:The people, they are always delighted to attend what you need The beach

Review 87:I stayed at the hotel with my mother and it suited us very well. Proximity to the beach is excellent. It's literally on the beach just across a small lane! Staff were friendly and helpful. If you can afford it the sea view suites upstairs are the best, more private, quiet and lovely views. We got upgraded for the first 2 ngts to a room of this type, the rooms by the pool are still large but not as private. Elia is a great location and has large beach by Mykonos standards, I'd definitely stay here again, free shuttle bus to town was also handy and complimentary airport transfers meant we didn't spend getting round the island. There are also some cheap boat trips from Elia to visit other beaches which I'd recommend if you want an excursion. Good idea if to stay here and then if you want to dine or have drinks at the more expensive Mykonion resort hotels up the hill you have some spare cash to spend there, but still lovely accommodation at Arte and Mare.

Review 88:Didn't got the suite which we booked.

Review 89:The hospitality of the hotel made our holiday. The manager was outstanding. The only disappointing thing was that we didn't got da suite which we booked but the staff gave the best customer service experience we ever had.

Review 90:The rooms online look like individual rooms however they are not just in fact a large room. The wifi is very poor in the superior rooms and superior rooms just have a tub no shower.

Review 91:They were excellent to us and the staff were fantastic. All of the staff were so so nice and I can't fault the staff.

Review 92:the pool is quite small but with the beach on your feet you won't need a bigger one

Review 93:the staff, very friendly, the location and the beach, the view from the balcony and the interior of the suite

Review 94:The staff in this hotel is INCREDIBLE! Emanuela, Sandy and Maria at the restaurant are ebchanting. But Sofia at the reception can really make your vacation a dream. She spare nothing to make every wish you have a reality. Yorgos is also a most. Always there when you need him. I HIGHLY recommend this hotel. I stayed in the Presidential suite, but really is the staff that makes this place GREAT!

Review 95:We had booked a presidential suite 2 months prior to us reaching, and when we arrived our room wasn't available so they downgraded us, which was unacceptable. The rooms were dusty granules of sand and dust were there on the flooring, some of the rooms didn't have wifi. The pool wasn't swimmable cuz of dirty water due to technical issues. Overall at the most the hotel is a 3 star rating.

Review 96:The driver George, was extremely helpful and accommodating.

Review 97:If you can afford, prefer the suites on the 1st floor. Cleaning needs seriously upgrading.

Review 98:The hotel consists only 13 suites and it is just 30m away from the beach. Chairs and towels are free. Breakfast is O.K. Shuttle bus from/to hotel to/from port/airport available and free of charge.

Review 99:The staff were extremely helpful and friendly.

Review 100:Excellent location- very good hotel Overall, 4 days of joy to a perfect location Very good accomodation and friendly staff

Review 101:The spa was awesome.staff met our expections.gorgeous beach

Review 102:value for money it is quiet expensive and it is not a 5 stras hotel

Review 103:owner is very friendly and helpful location is great
