Review 1：i stayed in a one person room facilites good very friendly staff easy to get on with you could have breakfast if required i had a sea view with excellent views over Telendos.

Review 2：Our room was a little dated. The shower head didn't stay on the wall so it was a one handed shower. With no curtain so the water went everywhere. There was a small kitchenette but the fridge was noisy so had to be unplugged at night. Also, €5 extra per day for air conditioning. Our friends were staying in various places around masouri and they seemed to get a little more for their money. Most places seemed to be €30 ish per night - including breakfast and a swimming pool. There is no pool at afroditi.

Review 3：We liked the location. A few hundred meters up hill from the Main Street. So it was a little quieter than the other hotels. The staff were very friendly. We got fresh linen every other day. The hotel was kept very clean. I had breakfast one morning. It was an extra €5 per head per day. It was very nice and good value. Breakfast in masouri cafes costs about the same as a dinner meal (€7-9). It was one of a few hotels with availability left, as I booked very late for our October climbing trip. Great view.

Review 4：The people who ran the plave were ready to help out with any request (taxi bookings, room bookings in Kos, ...). Lovely view from our terrace. Simple basic rooms, great value for money.

Review 5：The staff was amazing, especially Ms Katina, who made sure we had a great start to every day. They were always extremely helpful, whether it was about explaining how to get places, or stopping the bus in front of the hotel for us :-) All in all, great palace to stay on a budget!

Review 6：The stuff was sooo friendly and very nice. Even as I had a cold, they took great care of me. You can have everything at any time. We had a great stay and are about to come back next year. The rooms are clean and contain everything you need and if you want to, a good breakfast is served in the mornings. I can really recommend this studio to everyone. The beach as well as shops and restaurants can be reached in a few minutes walk, the view from the studio is so nice and the rooms are cleaned every day. No complains about our stay, wonderful time!

Review 7：The hotel is located off the main road, up on the hill so it's very quiet at night, but still very close to the centre of Massouri. Beautiful see view with spectacular sunsets! Staff is veeeeeeery friendly and helpful, we felt very welcomed and for sure I'll be staying there again when come back to Kalymnos:)

Review 10：Katyna was a lovely host at The studios. She made sure everything was always good, and always with a very friendly smile! Although it is situated on top of the hill (bad for people who don't want to climb a lot of stairs), the hotel is very suitable for climbers. Just 5 minutes (one staircase) away from the main street, its location gives you a perfect view of the sea and Telendos in the small room balcony for those with a sea view, or from the common balcony on the upper floor. The room is very comfortable, but make sure you get air conditioning during the summer, because it can get VERY HOT in Kalymnos :)

Review 11：Welcoming all our questions with eloboration, staff in Afroditi was very kind and helpful on our visit in Kalymnos. As a couple, we were very impressed by the tactfullness of staff whom gave us a generous present when they learned that we came to Kalymnos for our honeymoon. Where we can highly recommend you to stay in Kalymnos, Afroditi is a comfortable and preferable for a good rest after climbing. Also, it's located at the center of Masouri where you can easily access to the climbing sectors. In additition, you can always find hot water, good wi-fi access, handy equipment in kitchen and clean stuff for your accommodation.

Review 12：Our host Katina was lovely. So welcoming bringing juice and coffee on arrival. We enjoyed the freshly baked easter biscuits and mini eggs each day and were always greeted as if we were friends. So helpful and chatty, even looking after us after we had checked out. Amazing value, cleanliness and view. Thanks.

Review 13：Balcony was small. It's 200 steps up from main street which is fine for fit people but wouldn't suit everyone. Room and kitchen facilities are clean but standard for the area - you can probably get similar accommodation for less money if you go looking.

Review 18：We chose Afroditi mainly because it was close to the centre og Massiuri and the climbing sectors above. The staff was kind and helpful, and the room standard was alright. We spent little time in our room but slept well and had our breakfast there every morning. Having a fridge was a big plus for us!

Review 20：The staff was superbly friendly and helpful, they make me feel like it was my second house. The rooms were extremely well-cleaned every day. The view from the balcony was fascinating, as well. The next time we visit Kalymnos surely we will stay there!!!

Review 25：The staff and place very nice. The room is cleaned every day. The hotel in the top of Massouri, there is some steps to reach the hotel but we could see the sunset from the balcony with the Village in our feet :) The next time we go to Kalymnos sure we'll stay here!

Review 31：I would highly recommend this hotel: it is clean and comfortable, the bedrooms are clean and well-equipped with a wonderful view over Masouri and Telendos island. The beach is easily reachable within 5-minute walk as well as all the restaurants, bars, shops,... The staff is really kind and welcoming and its value for money is really good. Absolutely recommended!

Review 32：Very nice and helpful owner and personal. Very Clean rooms. Good location. Close to the center of Masouri but not in the middle of the (almost) daily partys. Close to many climbing walls. Nice view from the balconys.

Review 33：Everything was perfect. Mr. Manolis the owner is very friendly and helpful and so is all the staff. He let us stay till night instead of leaving at 11.30am without asking more money. Just don't take with you older people if you don't have a car because you have to descend a lot of stairs to reach to Massouri and to the beach or to walk 10 minutes. But for young people I think this is the best thing....

Review 57：Very friendly, very clean hotel on quiet road above village. We are a family of climbers and had two rooms right next to each other. We very much enjoyed our stay and would definitively book again. The stairs are good exercise.

Review 59：The staff were friendly and couldn't do enough for us. It felt like a family rather than a business. We were so well looked after! Our rooms were cleaned every day, the breakfast was custom made for our tastes and we were not made to feel we had to rush at the end of our stay.

Review 60：There is mentioned a few of steps in commercial. Indeed, the hotel is 3 long different stairways up from sea. The distance from the beach is abt 150 metres, but vertical. That's why the view on sea is so beautiful. Not suitable for people who has a problem with their heart or legs.

Review 62：The first room we were given was stink of damp, When we told thegentlemen about it he said it is summer and it was closed therefore itis normal, so not airing the room before visitors is normal for them,The fridge was all green and hairy inside, we asked the remote for theac, he said it is extras and we should pay 5€ for it. When we are backin the evening we saw an envelope saying that " you are right thereis water leak on the wall and it smell damp so please go to room no2" we even didn't care he took the liberty to go in our roomfull of our personal staff and move but it was very unpleasant stay.

Review 63：The only think one may like that hotel could only be the view, whichpretty much every house got in that region since it is very hilly. Thereis nothing else! Only budget friendly, but please add few € and gosomewhere you don't have to pay for the ac!!!

Review 67：The host, Mr Manolis is extremely kind, polite and willing to help with any problem encountered. He also speaks good English. The location is fantastic, offering breathtaking views of Telendos and the possibility to sit outside having breakfast. Also, it is away from the scooter traffic of the main road and the general feel is great. The hotel is a nice simple 2 star, exactly what you need to sleep well before a day of climbing and or beach.

This is the perfect place if you are a backpacker, or rock climber and are expecting a no frills kind of place.
