Reviews for To Mpalkoni
Review 1:If you are a group of younger people like we were there is a problem with staying outside and having a cold bear if the rooms at the 1st floor are ocupied; this is hapening because the gathering place is right outside of the room doors; also those rooms have a very high humidity and no view except if you walk out. Also the hosts don't know English not even for small conversations.
Review 2:The location is nice with a beautiful beach view but on the other hand this is seen all over Grece. The rooms are clean and spacious and the internet works pretty ok
Review 3:Nothing at all!
Review 4:Fantastic location overlooking the beach. Very quiet but only a short walk to the centre of Horefto. Very clean and spacious apartment (even for 4 of us) with full oven and self-catering facilities.. All the rooms have recently been renovated (2015) to a very high standard. You'll not beat this place for price and quality! We'll definitely be returning
Review 5:- Bad road access plus small parking area
Review 6:- With beautiful view and good access to beach (25m) and town (300m) - Recently renovated and new furnitures
Review 7:In the appartment was humidity all the time (the appartment was placed at the ground level sticked of the rock) due to the infiltration. For example in the bathroom one can see the humidity between the ceramic plates. The owner was very friendly only with the greeks, probably because she did not speak other language (I tried English, French, Italian, Spanish).Do not expect invoice for your payments. I tried also to book my appartment for more 2 days and she said that she expects other guests. In fact the appartment was free on Booking.com, so I prefered to spent one more day in another location. The place is great, so go to Horefto, but try another host.
Review 8:The placement.
Review 9:The road to Chorefto is 55 km of serpentines, and it was diffcult for us, but if you are used to serpntines, it's no problem.Internet and mobile/voice signals are extremly poor.
Review 10:Wonderful beaches, not crowded, pebbles and sand - the small one is really close to location, the big one is 300 m from it, but it's close to taverna's area. Good catering facilities, they offer everything you need. The only available activities in the village are swimming, laying on the beach and eating, but you can easily acces nereby villages by car.
Review 11:The beds were supposed to be for 4 adults but in practice it was made for 2 adults and 2 kids. Since my kids are teenager it was inconvinient. the matreseess of the bed were too soft and it spoiled the sleep at night.
Review 12:The staff is very pleasant and attentive, the short distance from the beach and from the village is great and at the same time it is located in the forest+plantation in a great mediteraneean athmosphere. The view of the aegean sea from the windows and balcony was amazing. it was very quiet. the flat was nicely separated to two small rooms.a small kithchen equiped with basic things, was very convenient if you want to cook small meals for the familly.
Review 13:One issue (minor) is the wifi is weak in the upstairs bedrooms. Also, the concrete lane up to the house is steep and in need of repair and is not suitable for all vehicles. Minor problems that are easily remedied.
Review 14:A set of self catering rooms that are very nicely furnished and spacious in a quiet building overlooking the sea (when there is a big sea as there was our first night, you can hear the surf crashing below the window; wonderful). The staff were quiet and unobtrusive. It is only a five minute walk to the beach and a selection of tavernas. We bought breakfast and ate out on the communal terrace. I would stay here again for its quietness and simplicity.
Review 15:No private balcony if you stay in the apartments downstairs. Difficult parking during high season.
Review 16:Clean and well equiped apartment. Nice view.
Review 17:Nothing.
Review 18:Very good location at a quite place just next to the beach. Good new and clean rooms, and big balcony.
Review 19:The poor internet connection
Review 20:Peaceful location Fantastic views across the sea Light and airy rooms Lovely Greek patio
Review 21:Bathroom is small. Too small. Also some coffe devices are necessary.
Review 22:Nice location.Clean.
