Review 1：no shampoo, only soap in bathroom; a few mornings of early construction from nearby place; encouraged to pay in cash (rather than credit card); only one bowl in kitchen made it hard to both have cereal at breakfast time

Review 16：It was fairly expensive, about 2 x as much as typical places in Kalymnos. The wifi was really spotty, in and out continuously, which was really frustrating.

Review 17：The room was really nice. The shower was excellent (which is hard to get in Kalymnos), we've stayed at 5 places and this is our favorite. Views were great. Bed was really comfortable (also an anomaly in Kalymnos). The staff was really helpful.

Review 19：The room was large and perfect for storing all our gear. As other reviews say, the bed was SO comfortable and great after a long day out outside. The owner of the hotel was friendly and offered us rides to the airport and nearby town Pothia. The kitchenette was small, but had everything we needed- a small fridge, sink, and cooktop. One word of warning- its an apartment- not a hotel. So pre-arrange with management when you will arrive or no one will be there to let you in. Overall, an absolutely amazing value for the price, clean, and comfortable. no more or less than what you need.

Small things would make a big improvement, though - a hook on the back of the bathroom door to hang towels/clothes, a few more teaspoons and knives, fix the bathroom shutter which bangs when you open the bathroom door!

Review 32：Lovely location right in the middle of the little town. Plenty of great restaurants, shops and a few bars. Easy access to the crags. We rented scooters but you can reach a few crags by foot. Great view, lovely balcony, good beds and nice linens. Roomy bathroom with nice shower etc. Air condition good and efficient (tip: put on "auto"). We are definitely coming back! Great place for a climbing vacation.

Review 33：they were doing some works on one of the rooms next to us, so some horribly loud banging was happening in the morning that forces us out of the room on our rest day... but this is not a regular thing tho... just unlucky for us...

Review 37：There is free parking on the premises (up a rather steep hill) but the space is limited. However, there is plenty of on-street parking close to the hotel. The mattress was too soft for me but the bed itself was wonderfully big and even my exceptionally tall husband was able to sleep comfortably for a change!

Review 38：The family that runs the hotel are absolutely lovely and very helpful. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine and water in the fridge. Most welcome surprise! The room was spotless, cleaned daily, towels changed daily and bed sheets every two days. The girl was also extremely patient and accommodating as I was almost never ready to leave the room when she came over :) Next to the stunning sea view from our cosy balcony, the shower was definitely my favourite part. Stylish, powerful and with complimentary apivita toiletries. Even though we did not use it, the kitchenette was fully equipped with all the basics for cooking up a wee meal. Finally, the WiFi signal in the room was excellent.

Review 39：There was some noise but with the aircon on and the windows shut it was not a problem.

Review 40：The room was very clean, comfortable, with air con, and had an excellent view over the bay to Telendos and further north almost to Emporios. Bedding was changed every two days and towels daily! Almost smack in the centre of Masouri it is close to cafes, restaurants and car hire (although Avis don't have too many cars!). We would definitely recommend this apartment hotel, though not to too many people!

We told him the airlines had lost our luggage and we needed to go back to Pothia to retrieve them, and he offered to pick up the bags for us! We were very grateful for him to go out of his way for us. We will stay there again when we go back someday.

Review 72：Centrally located in Massouri and within walking distance to major crags, Apollonia was a prime spot for our climbing trip. The balcony of our room overlooked the Aegean and made for a perfect place for apres climbing drinks and food. Nicholas was very accommodating and helpful.

Review 73：Close to everything. Nick who runs the hotel is very friendly, talkative and helpful, and we enjoyed the chit-chats with him after coming home half-dead from the crags in the evening. Cleaning staff did a great job and we were pleasantly surprised by the beautiful flowers they put on the balcony :) The room was nice, clean and newly renovated and had a spacious balcony with great view over Telendos island. Kitchen appliances were OK for making breakfast or easier meals, although not enough for full-blown cooking. Higher standard than what we are used to from earlier travels to Greece. Will definitely stay here again next time we visit Kalymnos.

Review 75：We have just returned from two weeks at the Apollonia in Kalymnos- April 14 to 29. During our stay there we had the chance to check out all the other studio apartments in Masouri/Myrties etc. During our visit we experienced a wide range of weather from the 40s to the 70s and from thunder showers to bright blue skies. Our studio was singular in that it offered a balcony with roof as well as a broad veranda allowing several options for outdoor dining no matter what the conditions. We did cook all but two of our dinners and all of our breakfasts in the studio's well appointed kitchenette. The only things we needed to purchase to supplement what was provided werea sponge and dish detergent. A good kitchen knife would have been nice but the one provided was adequate. There was one large 2 and 1/2 quart pot and lid, one ten inch fry pan, one small 1qt sauce pan a #4 coffee filter cone (we brought a small coffee pot), colander, cheese grater, vegetable peeler, all necessary utensils, two large soup bowls, dinner plates and small plates, (small bowls would have been nice to have), cups and saucers, coffee mugs, wine glasses, beer glasses juice glasses, even shot glasses. A large wash tub for doing laundry plus a clothesline outside with clothespins is provided. Also two drying towels. WiFi is free, fast and reliable. The bathroom is more nicely appointed than any I have seen on websites or in person on the island. A glass enclosed shower stall, tiled floors and walls, large sink and vanity courtesy scented soaps, body wash and shampoo and conditioner plus fresh towels (bath size and hand size) every day. Not to mention daily (even Sundays) maid service. And the cleaning that Nicolette did every day was thorough. She even washed the floors. EVERY DAY! Then there's the view. Magnificent. The entire east side of Telendos spreads itself across your balcony wall unobstructed by trees or utility poles and wires as we found at most other...

Review 79：This was a very nice clean hotel. Excellent location in the centre of town. Quiet, very close to beach and shops, very nice friendly owners and very well equipped. Beautiful room. Everything was perfect.

Review 80：There was very little kitchen equipment. There was a good large pan and a large frying pan plus a very small milk pan for boiling water. There was no kettle and no veg knives or bread knife. Plates, cups etc were adequate though there was no bowl in which you could have made a salad. It would have been very difficult to cook and we ended up eating out every night which we hadn't intended to do.

There was a large shower with hot water always available. The view from the balcony was really great - we had an excellent view of the sea and of Telendos Island. Review 87：Perfectly situated on the main street in Masouri, but still very quiet, all apartments enjoy a fabulous view from their balconies to Telendos and of the Kalymnos coastline. Amazing sunsets every night. Probably the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in - better than home! Large modern bathroom with great shower. We were given a choice of apartments and were able to pick the one we liked best which was mid level and had a massive terrace offering sun or shade which was perfect. Mini market is right next door and steps to the beach are right across the road. Very helpful owners make it a pleasure to stay here. Accommodation is above the family's sponge business which, on Kalymnos, just added to our enjoyment.
