Reviews for Seaview Hotel

Review 1:The location is wonderful - as close as you can get to the ferry port. And the staff are just marvelous - they could not do more to make you feel cared for and at home. Ample, freshly cooked breakfast, too!

Review 2:Only downside we could find was no shower but we did get the sea view so it made up for it.

Review 3:Staff were really friendly and helpful. Room was warm and cosy and bed was really comfortable. Food was fantastic. Compliments to the chef! :)

Review 4:Very friendly effecient staff, excellent breakfast, small but adequate single room, large car park , ideal stopover for ferry or sight seeing, free binoculars in dining room for bird watchers!

Review 5:we were in room 19 & 20 & noise from the bar & traffic was loud .. maybe rooms at the back of the building are better

Review 6:location & staff were friendly breakfast was very nice :)

Review 7:No bad experience.

Review 8:I like the fact that checking in very late after arriving on the Rosslare-Fishguard ferry and then walking to the hotel is not a problem.

Review 9:The only teeny thing was they didn't have brown sauce available at the breakfast bar! I'm sure if I had really cared I would have asked and they would have found me some : )

Review 10:The staff were brilliant. Friendly without being overbearing. Efficient and helpful

Review 11:Unfortunately the smell of a fish and chip shop was everywhere. We were also put in a room above the bar and it was noisey till about 1.30am.

Review 12:Brillant location for the ferrys

Review 13:The bathroom was tiny and the sink was in the bedroom.

Review 14:The staff were helpful and very friendly, and food was good and reasonable. The coast walk suggested by the staff was fab.

Review 15:Just a trivial item: no shaver socket in the bathroom.

Review 16:One of the best budget hotels I've stayed in: tastefully modernised, excellent condition, very clean and tidy, cheerful staff and an excellent breakfast. And it does indeed have seaviews. Top marks to the proprietors.

Review 17:Wish the bathrooms were a little bit larger.

Review 18:Located in a quiet part of town but near the ferry. Staff was friendly, efficient and accommodating. We slept well and had a wonderful breakfast and dinner. Felt like home. Very comfortable.

Review 19:Traffic noise, that was the only down side to our stay, they did offer to change the room, but we liked the room,so we stayed in it

Review 20:The food was excellent, staff could not be more helpful

Review 21:The layout of the room meant you could not see the view because you cold not get to the window, 2beds but only one bedside table and lamp. The side of the bed nearest the door had a big pothole in it making it really difficult to get out or in, room 11.

Review 22:The staff were brilliant, the bar lounge did not encourage husbands to sit and have a nightcap while spouses were in bed playing networking:)¬

Review 23:- Very friendly, cheerful and helpful staff and great service. - Ideal location for overnight stay if catching ferry to Ireland. - Good food in cosy bar and good breakfast too. - Plenty of parking space.

Review 24:Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Seaview hotel. The staff were friendly, courteous and helpful. The room was clean and quiet - I had a perfect nights sleep! Excellent food and drink facilities! Incredibly good value for money, I will definitely be staying again!

Review 25:Very small shower / bathroom, found pillows very uncomfortable

Review 26:Excellent location for late night ferry, with very good breakfast to start you off, good value overall

Review 27:Area very quite and it's a bank holiday weekend.! Hardly any guests..... Bathroom is a very small cupboard, with shower and toilet. Basin in the bedroom.

Review 28:Lovely breakfast. All clean

Review 29:Rooms on top floor a bit small. No shower in my room, nor a shower attachment on the bath. Ceiling in En-suite very low, difficult for men using the toilet! Narrow stairs, thus tight for bulky bags.

Review 30:Very close to Ferry Terminal, about 5 minutes, once off ship. Perfect for late ferries! Very pleasant and helpful staff. Good breakfast. Binoculars in the Dining Room to look out to sea!

Review 31:Our room was facing the street with lots of traffic and you could hear every car passing by. Waternoise coming out of the washbasin (which was in our room) during night. A sign in the entrance says "5 star for cleanliness", that's definitely overrated ...

Review 32:parking on site friendly staff

Review 33:Best accomodation of your trip. The room and toilet was very clean, very neat. It was a comfortable and good stay. We got a room with a view out to the sea, very nice. Staff was friendly and low-key. The room was quiet despite the restaurant downstairs.General thumbs up!

Review 34:Bathroom in eaves had very low ceiling, so no shower and not possible for a 6 ft man to stand at the loo!

Review 35:Good location, very friendly and efficient staff The most comfortable bed I'v slept in for a long time!

Review 36:The room was on the small size for a couple and no desk, but as we were there to rest, and there was plenty of tea/coffee facilities in the room, the bed was a good resting place to read.

Review 37:The peaceful rest, and the welsh breakfasts. The young staff were very polite and helpful. We stayed 5 nights. The glorious Pembrokeshire countryside was a delight to drive around.

Review 38:The weather, but that was not their fault.

Review 39:The Staff weree very cheerful and helpful. The breakfasts were good. Good parking facilities. The room was small but had all necesary confort for a short stay.

Review 40:Our room (11) was very noisy (just above the bar area), which meant we could hear the loud talking and TV downstairs until late - luckily we had earplugs, plus our room could do with a make-over and better shower. Wifi was slow in our room.

Review 41:Friendly staff, good full English breakfast included. The hotel is close to the beach, train station and bus stop for local buses.

Review 42:Our mistake, thought we were closer to town, rather ' no man's land' but one can take the coastal path into town which is a lovely walk.

Review 43:Compliments to the chef!

Review 44:nowhere to put anything in the shower - shelf or unit for soap, shower gel, shampoo etc. also no hooks for towels near to shower cubicle

Review 45:very friendly staff, good breakfast, god beds with soft pillows fantastic location for Irish ferry

Review 46:Too close to the road. Traffic noise was disturbing. Shower was very small. Very basic but served our purpose.

Review 47:Location. Lovely reception. Walking distance to town centre and coastal walk. Good for one night.

Review 48:We had a 'family' room and it was a little cramped. There was also a sloping ceiling above the single bed which all 3 of us clonked our heads on!

Review 49:Really friendly staff and the breakfast was excellent.

Review 50:Lack of cask beer in the bar. Only ber on offer was a ratherlifeless Wadworth's ^X.

Review 51:Nice, clean bedroom with great view over the harbour. Huge breakfast, alhtough a bit too huge for me!

Review 52:Found public hair stuck on shower walls on first day and someone's used socks in the wardrobe.

Review 53:Lovely views, great breakfasts and excellent wifi in bedroom.

Review 54:Could do with a hook to hang up your dressing gown or towel in shower room.

Review 55:The staff very friendly, Room very clean, Breakfast excellent and evening meals provided and there is a bar.

Review 56:Nothing we had a great time

Review 57:Location to the ferry. The staff were very friendly and made us feel welcome. The premises remain open to ,2.30am to cater for the night sailings

Review 58:wonderful location overlooking the sea. The staff where fantastic and if I must single out one member of staff for her service it would be Kylie. Overall a great stay

Review 59:The wifi went out one evening, but otherwise all met our needs very well. I think they should make it clear this is in Fishguard harbour, close to Fishguard and Goodwick station, rather than the town centre (which actually suited us fine, but was unexpected)

Review 60:Friendly staff

Review 61:There wasn't a shower, just a bath. If you dont mind that then this is perfect.

Review 62:It's at the end of no-where and perfect for those looking for peace and quiet. It certainly is away from any hussle or bustle. Rooms are clean, small and cozy.
