Reviews for Overnight Stays

Review 1:All staff off sick or on holiday, dirty towels in the bathroom, keys left under the plant pot, so called continental breakfast was a bruised banana and a pouch of capri sun orange.

Review 2:Nothing to like about this

Review 3:Couldn't get tv to work. Didn't see instructions until booking out as nobody onsite. Light outside gate a bit slow coming on when going out. I missed step because of this and fell. Bit shaken not badly hurt. It was very dark there

Review 4:Was left alone to get on with it. Breakfast continental but fine. Shower ok.

Review 5:Some other residents were noisy and inconsiderate but this was no fault of the proprietors. Just the luck of the draw

Review 6:Helpful staff when booking in..even when early. Excellent facilities, spacious and comfortable. Exceeded expectations. Even had breakfast included! Would definitely recommend

Review 7:No towels were provided. The only toilet became blocked, which I appreciate was not the proprietor's fault but with no one on site the matter could not be addressed & I, as an older women on my own, did not want to wander outside late at night to find the phone number on the front door. This was not accessible from inside as entry to the premises was by back door. The member of staff who arrived to let me in was not very welcoming only asked me to sign visitors book & handed over key and told me where to put it on leaving.

Review 8:The manager/owner spoke to me by mob several times to ensure I knew the directions and how to gain access in her absence. On arrival late evening she talked me through my room facilities by phone and advised me on several restaurants nearby. She also advised me on where I could safely store my cycle in the rear garden and where to chain it to.

Review 9:Bed was so comfortable and the room cozy. The shower was warm and the bathroom was clean. It is exactly what I was looking for to recharge on my long trip. Staff was very accommodating, allowing me to deliver a small package to the location, and allowing me to checkin VERY late. Wonderful stay.

Review 10:Slightly rough area of Manchester so just need to be cautious e.g. at night walking around.

Review 11:Great proximity to Stepping Hill Hospital - a 5 minute walk.

Review 12:I didn't have a mobile phone at the time and when you arrive, you have to call the owners, as they're not actually at the property. Because of that, I had to wait outside for about 20 minutes until someone came out of the building and leant me their phone. I wish I had been notified about it beforehand

Review 13:Very comfortable room, the continental breakfast was nice to have available at all times and the shower was great.

Review 14:No hand towels and bath towels well warn. Legs VERY loose on stool and dangerous. Kettle mains socket on floor next to sink. Adequate sockets need to be installed.

Review 15:Very clean and quiet. Facilities OK but breakfast content would be better with more choice. No chair to sit on.

Review 16:Delightful location, very friendly welcome. Room was great for a solo visitor. Quite old fashioned, this only adds to this place. Will definitely stay again when work takes me there.

Review 17:Only one pillow each and it was very flat! Someone had set an alarm which was ringing in the evening when we arrived and again in the morning. It wasn't too loud so only a mild irritation.

Review 18:Good overnight stay

Review 19:soft foam-type mattress didn't suit me, but other family members didn't mind it. staff must check dates on breakfast items!

Review 20:easy no fuss accommodation. owners not resident but no problem or delay getting access to rooms. cheaper price than most competitors. very close to Asda. simple breakfast in room which you can eat anytime. fridge in room. powerful shower. no problems getting access to shared bathroom (think other 'guests' got up very early to go to work). reasonably quiet area - easy to get a decent nights sleep. no problems with wifi

Review 21:I apologise but this is not positive....TV or Wifi did not work; Duvet on bed was wafer thin; no mirror in bedroom to be able to use so drying hair was difficult to style; heard every movement from the guy upstairs; continental breakfast was not worth looking at unless you liked coco Pops; it wouldn't have hurt to have offered one piece of fruit at least. If you travel for business and expect nothing, then this is the place for you! I'd have liked a refund but it's not worth the effort in following it through.

Review 22:No staff actually based in the accommodation. Although only a two minute walk off the main A6 it could be a bit difficult to locate without better directions. Eg nearest pub. Not at Stepping Hill Hospital but half a mile further on towards Hazel Grove.

Review 23:Comfortable, quiet and clean. Bus stop for the Skylink airport bus service only a two minute walk.

Review 24:Breakfast ,clean room and bathrooms and little fridge in my room.

Review 25:Did not see any staff as the check in was done over the phone.
