Review 2：the quality of the resort is first class, very very relaxing environment and within easy reach of agia galini and also agreat base to explore the really quiet beaches of triopetra and agios pavlos

Review 3：Wonderful seaview from balcony; amazing sunrises. Eva and her staff v friendly and helpful, eg welcoming drinks and snacks. Accommodation roomy and spotless and daily cleaning by very efficient housekeepers. Everything worked perfectly including wifi in our apartment. Ideal location in Crete especially this time of the year as long as you have a car.

Review 4：The handle constantly coming off the bathroom door and the air-conditioning was either on really cold or off.

Review 6：No individual patio area. 2.2km from AG.Galini was an expensive taxi ride (and difficult to arrange a return trip from the village) or had to take the car. No communal bar area for drinks,coffee or snacks.No atmosphere to the place.

Review 11：The villas are very nice with a large terrace and a beautiful view. We loved the pool and the peaceful atmosphere of the resort. The owners are very friendly and attentive and made us feel at home. In addition they serve a truly exceptional breakfast: everyday a different menu full of fresh homemade products. Overall a great experience!

Review 17：- Although we booked via this website and the money was supposed to be withdrawn from our credit card even before we arrived, they did not do it. They asked us to pay in cash and did not give us a receipt. Obviously they do this to avoid paying tax. - Wifi didn't work in the apartment. We had to go to the reception every time we needed internet. - Inaccessible unless you have a car or bike. -Swimming pools are dirty and smaller than they appear in the photos.

Review 18：- Apartments are very clean and comfortable. Modern furniture and nice bathroom. - Hilltop resort with great view of the sea and mountains during the day and lovely star-watching from your own sofa in the garden at night. - We loved the smell of oregano in the air around our apartment. - 5 min drive to Aglia Gallini town, 15 min drive to the beautiful Ag. Georgios beach.

Review 19：Misrepresentation of the resort in the photos. It's passed it's best with peeling paint, rust and a dirty pool. Disingenuous engagement from the staff. Staff came in the room in the middle of the day after the cleaners had been. I was asleep and half naked. To top it off I was told I should have put a do not disturb on the door as if it was my fault (there wasn't a notice). If you want to get in the room tell the guests in advance!!!!! Multiple plates with small portions at breakfast which took up more space than was possible on the table Dirty pools

Review 22：We liked the fact that the beach was located away from the beach. Plenty of parking and easy access either walking or driving! Beautiful view of agios galinas bay! Great hiking trails and central location to several excellent beaches! Lenikos staff and manager are very friendly , helpful and considerate! My stay was only two weeks and wish I had more time to stay longer!

Review 23：The Wi-Fi signals weren't great depending on where you were in the apartment and you would lose connection.

Review 25：The hotel is a long ways from town and I would think most people would not walk that far. You should have a car. The wifi in our room was non-existent at times and slow when it did work. In fairness, we did not try it in any other areas.

Review 27：Apartments are rather sterile inside. Breakfast was a bit heavy to our taste, but others may find it very interesting. WiFi only worked with the window open (and it was raining often those days). Car is an absolute necessity to move around; the place has no shop facilities.

Review 28：Calm location with partial view towards the sea, several swimming pools (although it was too cold to use them when we were there). Good quiet place to wind down. The staff offered us a free upgrade to a bigger place, which was very nice.

Review 30：I have to give compliment for the house keeping service. They really did a wonderful job. The apartments are very nice and comfortable.

Review 31：no breakfast buffet - everyone gets tons of different (very tasty but heavy and greacy) little dishes served on the table - no matter if you want it or not. If you are a polite person, you feel like you can't refuse to eat it, because the personnel is so proud that they can serve their treets. Breakfast is also served indoors only - would be nice to sit outside at the beautiful terrace and enjoy the view, maybe under the shade of some palm trees which do not exist. The taste of the dishes is very good, but if someone wants to live healthy or has a sensitive stomach it might be a little difficult.

Review 32：the resort is very clean and the appartements are awesome, located with a goregeous view, but rental car or motorbike is essential. Personnel are very helpful.

Review 33：The otherwise delightful experience left us with a bitter aftertaste when we were asked to pay cash and weren't given a receipt... but the price we paid included the tax they should pay, had they given us a receipt!! This means that a good 30 euros would be an -involuntary- tip to them. I mostly felt deceived because of their intention: had we not insisted on getting a receipt, we would have never gotten one!! Plus, by Greek law, customers aren't obliged to pay unless given a receipt. We eventually had to make special arrangements and meet with the hotel's accountant in another city (!!) in order to make sure we got a receipt, and the entire fuss spoiled the good impression. Another point were the hard mattresses: beware if you have any kind of back problem. They were very helpful about it, placing many blankets on top of mine, which kind of helped. In any case: DON'T pay without a receipt.

Review 34：A wonderful place ran by lovely people; the location is nice and the houses large and well-equipped. We were served breakfast in our room and enjoyed it on our private, large terrace. They gave us excellent tips on beaches and restaurants and always welcomed us with a big smile.

Review 39：Our villa did not have a safe, we told the owner who well received our feedback telling us some villas indeed do not have a safe yet, but they will work on it soon.

Review 40：The villa is amazing. Kitchen is fully accessorized, washing machine, etc. We were positively surprised to see how the apartment was so well cleaned: every day they've been washing dishes left in the sink, all floors and the terrace... amazing! The pools are big and well kept. This is the place to enjoy a great time off!!!

Review 41：It is a little bit far from Heraklion (almost 90 minutes). Therefore, it is an ideal location for those who intend to relax and enjoy the local attractions. Sometimes is too windy there.

Review 43：Lenikos Resort is only 2 km from Agia Galini, which means that you can enjoy the beach during the day but don't have to put up with the night noise. Quite the opposite, the area is on a quiet hill overlooking the south coast. You can actually see Agia Galini from your balcony. The villas are modern and attractive and have great views all around. You have everything at your disposal: fully-equipped kitchen, fridge, TV, even a washing machine. The furniture is functional and elegant. The rooms are cleaned every day. Breakfast is amazing. Without a doubt the best I've ever had: you do not need lunch after that! The couple managing the resort is very helpful. I had an issue with TV reception (World Cup time!) and the husband spent a good half hour trying to fix the problem. Late at night you might hear a friendly "meow" outside your villa. It's a beautiful and affectionate cat who'll show his love in exchange of a piece of cheese. Again, a fantastic spot at a surprisingly affordable price.

Review 61：Outstanding Resort Hotel. Facilities all first class. The location has 3 pools, magnificent views, clean and practical self-contained units, some even with washing machines. Located a little out of town and requiring a car for easy access, walk into town would be 30 minutes or more. Very friendly and helpful owner. Rooms were spotlessly clean. Breakfasts are a large feast consisting of many small dishes of largely home-made treats and delicacies. We enjoyed our stay immensely and would return in a flash. I can highly recommend this resort hotel.

Review 62：The water is heated by a system on the roof. In april, there is not enough sun during the evening to have hot water in the evening and in the morning. You just ask the owners to put on the electric heating if you want warm water. That is not a problem.

Review 63：Breakfast = super. The owners do their best to bring variation into the menu! The breakfast contains at least 10 differtent dishes (local greek) including tea and marmelade made by the "lady of the house". The rooms are very spacy and clean, you get new towels every day. There is a good kitchen and a washing machine. The staff of the hotel is kind and vriendly (as are all cretan people)! The hotel is situated on the mountain at about 3 kilometer from Agia Galini. Every room has a view on the sea and the mountains. T You can go by foot but it is better to have a car. The domain itself has beautiful plants and flowers between de different houses. There is a nice little beach near the hotel if you follow the road into the mountains: Agios Georgious with two nice restaurants at only 5 minutes drive of 45' walk. If you follow the dirtfroad from there, you reach beautfull quite beaches (Trio Petra, Lingres) within 30 minutes. You are 1 hour away from Heraklion and on your way there you can visit beautiful mountains full of flowers.

Review 64：Barely (very barely) adequate room air conditioner. We were there in September, so the A/C was probably totally inadequate for hotter months.

Review 65：The staff was extremely helpful and went out of their way to make our stay pleasant. The three pools were very nice and had good views of the surroundings. Parking was free and easy and the hotel is in a quiet location high up on a hill over Ag Galini.

Review 69：We loved Lenikos, it was far enough away from the town to be quiet and peaceful but close enough to be able to pop in for dinner and a drink in the evening. Beaches are 5 mins drive away. Very friendly staff, we had our first Dakos there and it was amazing. We stayed at a few places in crete on our journey but this was by far the best. The maisonette was simply fantastic. Very modern, very clean, fabulous shower.

Review 74：Our stay at the Lenikos could not have been better. The staff went out of their way to make us welcome and comfortable. The facilities are excellent, very new and beautiful. The town of Agai Galini also had some excellent affordable restaurants. We would highly recommend this resort.
