Review 2:Nicely decorated, room spacious, bed and pillows comfortable, good location for my needs, close to main road,
Review 3:The owner was lovely and the place was well located for what I needed. Although basic, the room was clean and better than expected. The WiFi and parking was probably worth the room rate alone in all honesty.
Review 4:room up the stairs Served no breakfast ; only charged money for the same. Was looking up a place to hire for six months but the attitude of the land lady not very welcoming
Review 5:location cleanliness wifi
Review 6:Shower was a bit small for me.
Review 7:Location was perfect, bed comfortable, breakfast very good, and was very pleased with the security gates being closed at night.
Review 8:I got a very friendly welcome, the accomodation was superb, and there was a good breakfast. I would certainly want to stay there again, if I am in the Manchestere area overnight. Very good value for money.
Review 9:Incredible value for money. Good parking. Took care of single female traveller. Free upgrade to a better room. Walking distance of Stepping Hill Hospital, where I was on a course. Good entry/exit/key system.

Review 27:Nice and quiet , handy to transport
Review 28:Kerry (the owner) is a wonderful lady and I felt home ... that's all I could say :) I never had the chance to get breakfast there, but I'm sure it woulda been good :)
Review 29:There was only a small time window to have breakfast, if you were having one from the hosts.
Review 30:It was a nice touch to have a microwave and fridge available for guests.
Review 31:I arrived at Henry's mid morning and although normal booking in time is not until 4pm, the land lady was very friendly and allowed me into my room well ahead of normal time. Bus stop right outside front door with routes to Manchester and surrounding locations and airport bus for my return to Manchester airport. Excellent!
Review 32:The poor quality shower (not enough flow), lack of a desk (in the room I was in at least)
Review 33:the very friendly landlady and the dining room facility to heat up food (microwave) and provision of crockery/cutlery. Large room was well appointed considering the price
Review 34:It is advertised as a B&B and Breakfast is extra. It is not a massive issue though and would not stop us returning.
Review 35:Cosy, clean, plenty of space. Lovely bed. Handy for shops and Motorway access. Good parking too.
Review 36:Bed was incredibly hard as were the pillows. Room wasn't particularly clean, including hairs in the bed and pubic hairs in the shower and on the sink!
Review 37:I stayed at henrys while on a training course and wss very happy that it was clean and tidy and comfy. the staff were great and the brekkie excellent. it was not posh but very cosy and tremendous value for money. will stay there again.
Review 38:The place was excellent for that price. We went with our baby and the owner was so lovely. She played with him so we could have nice breakfast, she brought a baby chair for him at breakfast so he could play. Everything was spotless. It is good value for the money paid. Staff is very friendly and they enjoy talking to the clients.
Review 39:The friendliness of the staff comfortable bed superb breakfast close proximity of shops and bus stops right out side the door and across the road also. Knowing it was on a busy road I wore earplugs at night so was not bothered by traffic noise. I will go back to Henry's whenever I go to Manchester. Regular buses into Manchester etc
Review 40:Excellent value, have stayed in a wide range of hotels and for modernity and cleanliness this hotel ranks amongst the best. Generous tea, coffee, etc in the room, bright white towels and easy to follow instructions for the shower. Good value breakfast - we paid £5 each. For the amount we paid for the room it surpassed expectations. Friendly staff helped to advise on direct bus route into Manchester, and location meant taxi was just over £20 back on a Saturday night.
Review 41:Shower was hot but not great power but for a budget stay I was more than happy
Review 42:Very friendly family feel to the place. Very comfortable. Great cooked breakfast for just an additional £5. Helpful staff. Lovely decorated rooms. Had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay
Review 43:Noisy from boarding contractors making a racket. One night after 1:15am. Bed very hard, and pillows not to our liking. No running hot water from the basin. Shower went from extremely hot to cold needed instructions for setting a constant temp. Lacking in storage space having to leave clothes on one of the family bunk beds. Front gate gave problems opening.
Review 44:Henrys offers good value, clean and comfortable accommodation in a convenient location making it an ideal place to stay whilst visiting Stockport. We were made to feel very welcome.
Review 45:No table/desk for use of laptop in room -although their is a communal dining room Wifi access not great (unable to access)-although staff helpful when mentioned problem
Review 46:Easy to find and parking available Friendly staff Good bathroom with separate shower even in single room
Review 47:Unimaginative breakfast - orange juice, choice of 3 cereals served from box; white toast; tea only, no coffee - but then it was cheap. I would have happily paid more for a healthier breakfast say with fruit. Breakfast time on Sunday advertised up to 10 am. Proprietor in a rush to serve me just after 9 am on a Sunday - she had told me the evening before that as we did not want a cooked breakfast we could come down any time. She was going to a monthly Trade Fair for her other business, fair enough; but I felt unwelcome.
Review 48:Inexpensive and within easy reach of the family event we were going to as that's what we were looking for. Clean room Comfortable beds Free off-road parking
Review 49:A well appointed hotel, excellent facilities, room comfortable and fresh. Breakfasts scrummy, Staff very friendly and obliging.Good local transport for Manchester and surrounding areas if not using car,
Review 50:There is a minor problem with the timing of breakfast, which has to be taken between 7 and 7.30 am on weekdays and between 9 and 9.30 am on weekends etc. But the reasons for the restrictions are very understandable.
Review 51:The room was large for a single room and the security system was sophisticated. I like the way that the dining room can be used by those bringing in meals in the evening.
Review 52:Stayed here for a night out in manchester, the owner was very very helpful as we could not get a taxi anywhere, So she ran us in her own car to our party locally, This was very kind of her, Thanks again. Very clean, warm and worth every penny. Would stay again if in the area.
Review 53:The sitting room is under-used. From my point of view this was not anissue since I mainly wanted a good room in which to sleep and to work, which I had, and good service, which I received.
Review 54:First rate bedroom, warm, very clean, spacious.Excellent service, friendly and conversational but never over-powering. Good Wifi connection and perfect for my business requirement. Outstanding Value at £40 per night B and B in a great sized double room
Review 55:The shower was only warm, the cooked breakfast was for workmen , all dumped on the plate.
Review 56:Very nice and clean rooms. Bus station just in front of the B&B with direct buses leaving to Manchester every few minutes.
Review 57:I found the room a little too cold once the central heating went off; traffic noise was a bit intrusive too.
Review 58:Large spacious room; comfortable bed.
Review 59:Convenient, easy to find location. Good value, clean and comfortable accommodation.
Review 60:Very good b and b. One of the nicest I've stayed in. Lovely rooms and friendly staff
