Reviews for Logis De Jerzual
Review 1:The internet did not work in the room. This was a disappointment because in the description it says everywhere. We were informed when we arrived that it only worked in the common areas. The room had a musty smell.
Review 2:We were treated very nicely and had a wonderful breakfast each day. The location makes it easy to walk everywhere in the old city. It was very quiet and calm.
Review 3:Go there with light bag since it is situated on an old part of town with small cobble stone street and need to drag the bag up stone stairs to get to the house. But it is so worth it.
Review 4:We love the charm of this little B&B. Our host was so nice, we got there at 9.30pm and she waited for us, showed us around and even had snack waiting for us. Breakfast was superb with all kind of fresh bread. Croissant is the best I've ever tasted in my life !!!!
Review 5:It should be borne in mind that the port of Dinan is separated from the medieval part (up the top) by an extremely steep climb up a cobbled street...it goes on and on but it is beautiful and exhilarating. We did it 6 or 7 times in 5 days.
Review 6:Very French! Surrounded by quality restaurants. The most picturesque medieval village EVER! Took so many photos; round every corner another photo opportunity.
Review 7:Wifi not consistent. Electric sockets seems loose. Lumpy pillows.
Review 8:Good location for local eateries. Good breakfast. Very helpful, including help to move move our car that was not reversing properly!
Review 9:nothing. It was all good.
Review 10:Lovely location on steep, cobbled hill between town wall and river. Quirky decor. Nice breakfast. Free parking, but at the top of the hill.
Review 11:No lift. Parking (public and metered) a few blocks away and steep walk to return to B&B over cobble stone road.
Review 12:Quaint old world ambience. Convenient location. Helpful staff.
Review 13:The logis is located on a cobbled pedestrian zone and is very quiet. Internally it is beautifully decorated with rugs, hangings and antiques, whilst outside it has a pleasant garden to the rear. The owner is very welcoming, helpful and hospitable.
Review 14:Parking could be an issue . Its not clear where the best place to park is. although we found the port worked well and was less of a steepclimb to the hotel.
Review 15:Very quaint hotel with lovely gardens, goodsize rooms and central to the port and town of Dinan. Friendly helpful owner . Felt very typically French .
Review 16:Meeting up with friends in the port area, meant this was a good location for us. Any one who knows Dinan, dreads the steep climb/stagger back up the hill to the town, especially after a good meal! The room was very large, and furnished with lots of french antiques, giving it great character.
Review 17:It would be a great help to quote the difficulties in reaching the the hotel for people with mobility difficulties. We VERY reluctantly had to move to an hotel on the level!
Review 18:The comfort, the excellent breakfast and above all the charm and welcome of Mde Ronsseray who looked after all our needs.
Review 19:Nothing! It was a lovely short break for the family in a beautiful and welcoming setting.
Review 20:The friendliness of the owner and staff who even helped us locate my daughters bag in Dinan Port which had her precious toy in after we had left and send it back to us, the location was fantastic, the tiered garden at the back had beautiful views, it was so relaxing to sit in and the children loved playing in it, the breakfast was delicious, the building and room was traditionally French in style with gorgeous, big windows out onto the cobbled street.
Review 21:The Hotel is located on a most charming historic cobbled street, that driving up was a little challenging but that said It was a pleasure to walk into such a lovely historic and accommodating hotel. The owner is lovely and very helpful, an excellent choice of hotel for a visit to the beautiful Dinan.
Review 22:There was nothing we did not like.
Review 23:This is a charming hotel in a historic area of Dinan with a lovely terraced garden behind, just a stroll away from the little port on the River Rance. Every comfort is provided and every room is prettily decorated and adorned with a number of fascinating antiques. There are lovely views over the rootops to the gardend and countryside beyond.
Review 24:The parking is little far away from the location
Review 25:Everything. The place is so romantic and beautifull surrounded by a natural and wild garden where you can even see roe deers... Dont miss it if you visit Dinan
Review 26:Great situation halfway up street linking Dinan town and port. Rooms with nice views and well-chosen period furniture. Very welcoming owner. Remarkable large hidden garden.
Review 27:Dingy room which wasn't very clean. Bathroom airnextraction not working. Worst of all, nothing on website says you have to park some distance away and that the hotel is situated up a steep, narrow, cobbled hill and is totally unsuitable for all but the very fit. We left after one night.
Review 28:Nothing.
Review 29:Absolutely nothing to dislike. Location is tightly nestled in steep historic area
Review 30:The size of the room and its light and airyness. Bathroom very good. Hosts hospitality and helpfulness. Extensive beautiful garden. Breakfast above expectations.
Review 31:Parking was difficult - the property is on a very steep hill, parking places are few and reached by a further walk uphill
Review 32:Ambience, friendly proprietor and very good continental breakfast
Review 33:I didn't realise how steep and narrow the road was outside the Hotel my husband had a fall which was very worrying after his recent hip replacement. Not suitable for the elderly & infirm.
Review 34:Owner absolutely lovely very close to everything in this lovely town. Really quirky hotel full of interesting pieces much nicer than a bland modern hotel.
Review 35:The location was superb. The owner was very welcoming and showed us to our first-floor room with a view of Rue de Petit Fort. She also recommended L'ami Louis, a delicious restaurant just down the street from the B&B for dinner. Our room was warm, nicely furnished and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, with croissants and breads, jams and honey, cereals, yogurt, meats and cheeses. I would certainly recommend this charming chambres d'hotes.
Review 36:there was nothing we didn't like. We thought we got very lucky in picking this place.
Review 37:the proprietress was lovely and very helpful, the breakfasts were delicious, it was very conveniently located. I also liked the antiques furniture in the medieval building. This is one of the buildings in the very old part of Dinan. So beautiful and interesting. We had no complaints at all.
Review 38:This hotel, near the river, was very convenient for us as we were on a cycle trip. The hotel is full of character. We received a warm welcome from Sylvie who was also very helpful during our stay. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice.
Review 39:Nothing. We loved our stay.
Review 40:Large room full of character and beautiful furnishings juxtaposed with a modern bathroom with nice warm shower. Tea and coffee facilities in a shared kitchen area with books. Internet connection available. Excellent location near plenty of restaurants along the river bank and short walk to the town centre. Come prepared for a picturesque walk up hill though. Parking in reasonable distance. Really warm welcome and... a very friendly cat. Very highly recommended.
Review 41:Nothing!
Review 42:Located along a beautiful cobbled street, inside the property is decorated in keeping with the building. Lovely big garden out the back. We came by bicycle along the canal and the location meant we didn't have to cycle up the hill to the town centre with all our belongings.
Review 43:nothing. The hostess was charming and the breakfast was very good served in a pleasant room
Review 44:.It contained a level of comfort with tasteful furnishings.that suited our needs. ...The spacious living room incorporated a large desk, dining table and chairs, sofa ,wardrobe & bed and an annex which we used as a dressing room & storage for our large travelling cases. The bathroom with adjacent toilet was faultless. The little kitchenette area was adequate.
Review 45:Parking was a little way away due to being located in a pedestrianised street. A bit scary driving the car down the cobbled st to drop off the bags, but worth it.
Review 46:Lovely room nice breakfast . Very welcoming owner. Lovely location.
Review 47:Nothing that we didn't like except having to leave.
Review 48:We loved everything about this Logis...from its position on the historic Rue de Petit Port, to its fascinating interior and beautiful furnishings and its lovely gardens. Most of all we were impressed by the hospitality and friendliness of the owner. Superlatives all round!!
Review 49:Had to park the a away from the hotel but parking in the area seemed safe. A bit of a climb up to the hotel. Only take what you need with you.
Review 50:An old building with plenty of character. Furnished with antique furniture. Excellent breakfast in a pleasant conservatory looking on to the very extensive garden. Modern bathroom with plenty of hot water and a shower that worked! Overall very good value.
Review 51:Logis De Jerzual isn't suited to any travellers with accessibility issues due to the steep cobbled climb, and many steps in to the building, but for the able-bodied, the result is well worth the effort.
Review 52:Initially unsure whether we could drive close, we took the steep cobbled hill to the Logis, which gave us a unique unloading. Our room was beautiful, attractively decorated with plenty of space and a stunning view of the hill and the town beyond. The bed was very comfy, and breakfast the following morning was the best we found all week! Logis de Jerzual has an amazing hostess, great decor, excellent food and is wonderfully relaxing, while being extremely convenient for all the sights in Dinan.
Review 53:Parking the car so far from hotel Parking Costs Dragging luggage from car to B&B
Review 54:Tthe hotel Dinan Harbour Breakfast Godd restaurant at the bottom of the hill
Review 55:Difficult to find the exact location and street access to the B&B; however, after one day it was easy. Parking requires assistance from Sylvia - you can drive on the pedestrian only frontage street to load and unload baggage. Much easier if you arrrive or depart early or late when there are fewer crowds. Not for the mobily challenged visitors. Best to have a walking stick provided by Sylvia for the cobble stone street.
Review 56:Perhaps one of the best locations in Dinan from an historic, picturesque point of view. Wonderful views out the window. Nice garden, good breakfasts, Sylvia the owner very nice and helpful. Very helpful walking distance to key areas. Less touristy.
Review 57:The logis is part way up a steep, narrow street. Getting to and from it on foot can be strenuous.
Review 58:very attractive environment in historic location near the port beautiful, peaceful and tranquil spot excellent restaurants and cafes nearby friendly, courteous and very helpful owner
Review 59:Access could be issue up/down steep cobbled street, although we drove up/down both ways ok. Could be fun in the wet.! This is however made clear on site, so not a complaint.
Review 60:Friendly and helpful staff/owner. Old world feel. Excellent wifi. Excellent continental breakfast. Clean room. Close to the Port and exc Excellent restaurants/bars.
Review 61:We should have been advised that we could drive up or down the road to deposit suitcases, etc..
Review 62:Excellent breakfast, everything clean and fresh. Owner very attentive and helpful. I have already recommended Dinan and the Logis de Jerzual to some friends.
Review 63:Had to park 300m away, after driving down crowded narrow steep cobbled street, thanks to GPS, faintly embarrassing, also funny.
Review 64:Amazing position, lovely apartment, great breakfast, can't fault it, beautiful place and town, thanks
Review 65:Would have liked to stay for longer- next time ?
Review 66:The proprieter - Madame Sylvie could not have been more helpful. Our room was spotless and the bed was very comfortable and huge! Great breakfast also. Central location in this Historic town for restaurants etc.

Review 94:Very charming hostess, lovely old building with wonderful gardens. Excellent location for exploring the town and surrounding area. Great choice of restaurants.
Review 95:Location is an old cobbled steep road. It has vehicle access, however we were motorcycling and the conditions are not suitable for motorcycles. The owner was great and allowed us to use a secure compound nearby. Thank you very much.

Review 99:Lovely, extremely accommodating host (provided advice, maps, e-mailed with details a week before my stay, found me a driver for the day at half a usual taxi cost; allowed a very late check out at no additional cost); fantastic location in the charming town (the street IS very steep, so probably not for people with mobility issues); tea-making facilities with excellent choice of teas (rare find in France!); beautiful property overall; great water pressure in the shower. Great, great stay.
