Review 3：Very attentive staff. Daily replenishment of bottled water, chocolate sachet drinks and biscuits which is not offered everywhere, also good toiletries.

Man who checked us in was extremely pleasant as was the lady who dealt with us at breakfast and checking out. Breakfast magnificent will definitely use again if staying in the area.

Review 16：Broken safe that had been 'brokwn for months'. Despite a 'Do not dusturb' sign on the door they came in. Tiny TV. Full English Breakfast was sub-standard: reheated canteen style.

Review 21：The staff were welcoming and attentive throughout our stay. Evening dinner was superb and the hotel could not be faulted at all. I developed an horrendous head cold during our stay and had to leave early; management were excellent in their understanding of our situation.

Review 22：the hotel is on a flight path so was awake at 5am. The only thing they could do is provide ear plugs but also to mention this fact as it made a difference to sleep quality.

Review 31：As a solo traveller its depressing to sit in your room all night so a trip to the bar lets you see and talk to other people,however, the bar had nobody in there was nothing to see or do even the barman doubled as a waiter in the restuarant. The rooms are quite basic but had a good work station and good wifi.

Review 45：Good personal service was given from our initial welcome until we left. All areas were very clean. The breakfast was freshly cooked and the morning waitress extremely friendly and helpful. She even found some brochures to help us with our visit to Manchester. Stockport train station was within walking distance. We would totally recommend this hotel for a visit to the city.

Nothing was too much trouble and it seemed as though your wishes were anticipated !The food was excellent, at breakfast and dinner. I had the pleasure of dining at the Ritz and the Savoy in London the week before. In terms of friendliness and professionalism they did not compare to the Wycliffe. If you want to be treated as if you are the most important person, stay at the Wycliffe. A special nod to Lauren. An oustanding young lady, for whom nothing was too much trouble. Thank you so much.
