Review 1：The advertising of Hotel and Spa was misleading, the Spa was another building and fully booked. The pool was closed when we arrived and looked very basic. We were not told about the pool being closed or given indication on how to book the Spa.

Review 5：The owners are great, very helpful. The wife is Asian and cooked a wonderful dinner meal. The decor is very nice inside and flowers and nicely landscaped outside, plus very clean. The Ivy Bridge on the property made the walk down to the beach only about 15 minutes and it was lovely.

Review 9：The hotel was in a convenient location for Fishguard port and the room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was excellent and the hotelier was a very friendly man and was very welcoming (we arrived after midnight at the hotel).

Review 12：Lovely quiet location, easy country walk over to Lower Fishguard. Great stop off if you are going on to Ireland. Hosts were great, great Chinese meal in the evening cooked on site. Would return again

Review 13：The only think I didn't like is that my credit card was charged a deposit of around £95 when making booking, which is something I didn't expect and it's not mentioned in booking.com! I generally avoid the hassle of booking in accommodations that charge ahead of time or block an amount of money. I would always go for more expensive option of accommodations that offer flexibility of cancellation policy .

Review 14：I think everything. It's worth highlighting that the property owners (Mark & Jan) are very attentive, and the property location is ideal for trips in western Wales, you can drive to St David's in south and Cardigan in the north in less than an hour.

Review 19：This is nit picking, but if you are a light sleeper, choose a room at the top of the property. The family above me were stomping about and the noise travelled to my room. It wouldn't stop me booking again.

Review 24：Requested earlier check in, and even though we were unable to make it to the hotel before the normal check in time of 2pm, our room was still not available. On arrival the room smelt stale, although we believed this to be from the vacuum used to clean the room at the time of our arrival. The decoration and bedroom furniture was very dated and not of a good quality. The beds/mattresses were very soft and not particularly comfortable. The bathroom was small with a bath and makeshift shower. The toilet cistern took over 10 minutes to fill with water between flushes which was very inconvenient, this was reported during the stay but nothing was done to rectify this. The hotel is over priced for what you get and we wouldn't return.

Review 26：Name of the hotel is misleading regarding facilities, the spa is a separate business requiring early and separate booking. Very thin walls, other guests could be heard clearly. Customer service was rushed, staff very busy in the morning, absent for check out, with an abrupt farewell. Small rooms for price paid.

Review 31：The host and hostess were very warm and accommodating. They were very helpful in terms of our various needs (baby, bicycles for storage, local advice). The feel of the hotel was homey and relaxed. The Chinese food was spectacular, plentiful and a delightful surprise. My wife and I had my parents along and we all have fond memories of our stay.

Review 32：The apartment we got was perfect for our needs. There was a small heated indoor pool that was great for a fun splash, especially for the kids. For a very good bonus, the restaurant serves up fantastic, authentic Chinese/Asian cuisine at very reasonable prices. Worth a stay just for the food!

When you like Chinese food with high standard (everthing is fresh cooked and not precooked. Kind of unique for Chinese restaurants) you must stay at Ivy Bridge and have a fantastic dinner!

Review 39：On the website it is described as a spa hotel - our room apparently came with a hot tub. It is a guest house with a Chinese restaurant. The owners didn't know what a hot tub was.
