Reviews for Hotel Moderne Un Coin de ... Remoulins

Review 1:Terrific location mere minutes from Pont du Garde. Charmingly dilapidated, evidently once-grand hotel. Convenient parking. Very helpful owner/manager.

Review 2:The room smelled of cigarette smoke, the decor was shoddy, the bathroom door didn't close. I couldn't stay there as I was so disappointed with the quality of the room and they still charged me full price as they said they still have to pay commission to Booking.com. I will not use booking.com again unfortunately as on this occasion I feel the usual standard of accommodation dropped.

Review 3:Nothing

Review 4:- Breakfast rather poor, only sweets - we got a small plate of cheese and ham, though, when we asked for it- mold on the ceiling and courtains in the shower - air condition not working

Review 5:- Close to Pont du Gard (+ they give you 50% discount on the very expensive parking at the Pont du Gard, which is very nice)- staff helpful and friendly, especially the young miss

Review 6:The hotel was easy to find, the staff were very friendly and there was a garage for secure parking. The food was good and there was plenty of it! The Pont du Gard is only 3 miles away, which given the temperatures of 46C to 50C was ideal, especially on a motorbike.

Review 7:Wifi not the best, but when you finally get on, it stays on.

Review 8:Location was great, as very close to Pont du Gard. The price was very good as a budget hotel.

Review 9:Good location

Review 10:Nice hotel. Close to everything. Restaurant good, and the staff: you couldn´t fin.d better.

Review 11:Close to noisy road with heavy traffic.

Review 12:Good location to visit Pont du Gard, and the Hotel helped with discount

Review 13:No private parking. Little choice of restaurants. Manager not at desk when I left in the morning (7:00 am).

Review 14:Close to Pont Du Gard

Review 15:Excellent location, parking right out front

Review 16:was able to check in despite very late arrival after an evening flight

Review 17:Location

Review 18:- wifi not working - very small bed - old equipment - very small breakfest, old bread

Review 19:- good location for Pont du Gard

Review 20:Almost everything, I entered my room which was not cleaned, Wi-Fi andAirco did not work. 8€ for a very poor breakfast is exaggerated. I ate atagine in the restaurant which turned out to be a piece of chicken, semolina and 3 apricots and 3 prunes. It is my idea that a tagine haslots vegetables in it?

Review 21:The receptionist was friendly

Review 22:1. There wasn't an elevator, so we had to drag our luggage up the stairs. 2. Although there was an air conditioner in our room, it didn't work. The outdoor temperature was more than 100 degrees F, and yet the bed had been made with a wool blanket. We were awake nearly all night, in the tremendous heat. 3. The floor in the shower was extremely slippery, so we had to place a towel on the floor in order not to slip. 4. In order to get in/out of the toilet room, we had to squeeze between the wall and the toilet, close/open the door, and then move to sit/stand. We will NOT return to this hotel, ever.

Review 23:1. Free parking was provided. 2. The breakfast was very good.

Review 24:The hotel itself was very basic, 8 Euros for a baguette and butter for breakfast was a rip off. My friends stayed in a beautiful hotel just round the corner, Free breakfast and only 20 Euros more a night. They had medieval rooms, 4 poster beds, Air con, the works. My Aircon didn't work and the room was way too hot.

Review 25:The staff were really friendly, nice little bar and close to the nice parts of Remoulins.

Review 26:The steak at the restaurant was a bit gristly, but the flavour was nice.

Review 27:The location - we came to Remoulins to see the world-famous Pont du Gard. From Hotel Le Moderne, all we had to do was cross the bridge at the end of our street and follow a tree-lined walk for less than 3km to the Pont du Gard. We were able to cross the Pont, and spent the day there. The staff at Hotel Le Moderne looked after us well, finding us a twin room and serving a lovely buffet breakfast (Continental style). Our whole stay at Remoulins and the Pont du Gard was a long-held dream.

Review 28:A lot of traffic noise, cigarette smoke a problem, air conditioning didn't work.

Review 29:Very pleasant English speaking manager who sorted out secure bike storage and lent us a power adaptor. Very good meals at a reasonable price.

Review 30:The parking place is about 300 or 400 metres away. It is free but it isan open parking place where anyone can go and park. So you have to parkthere and you can't have an eye on your car.

Review 31:Nice place to stay over night. The staff was friendly. We have beenthere for a stop over coming from spain. We wanted to see the pont dugard on the next day. We had a two room apartment. The kids 4 and 6stayed in the one room with to small beds and me and my wife stayed atthe other on a queen size bed. The room was nice, clean and got space. The breakfast which costed 8 eur each was ok. The buffet was small, butwe had enough of anything.

Review 32:Bad plumbing. Sewer gas in the room.

Review 33:Excellent food in the restaurant.

Review 34:i stayed 3 nights, the room was never serviced.

Review 35:reasonable deal for this touristic area

Review 36:Only 10 minutes to Pont de Gard by a car.

Review 37:Undercover easy parking for motorbikes. Pretty old part of thevillage

Review 38:At this price nothing!

Review 39:The price unbelievable what you get for 22.50 euro nice room shower toilet all there !
