Reviews for Hotel Spa Le Connetable
Review 1:Modern wash basin so shallow tended to splash on floor. Shower drain slow so shower tray overflows unto floor after 5 mins of shower.
Review 2:Rooms good size and clean. Underground carpark excellent
Review 3:Loved the town of Dinan. Hotel very comfortable and staff very pleasant and helpful. Ideal location for exploring the area. Good walk into town. Unfortunately, didn't have time to use the spa facilities. Would return.
Review 4:Bed was a little too hard however that is just an opinion, slept well despite this. Rooms could do with fridge.
Review 5:Very friendly staff very clean and great location
Review 6:Breakfast wasn't worth 10€ each, but that's it. The hotel is lovely.
Review 7:Dinan is an absolutely beautiful little medieval town. It us bustling with tourists, the food is lovely, the local people are lovely. The whole place is beautiful. Lots of hotels in Dinan to chose from. We stayed in a Superior Delux Room, which was lovely. Would definitely stay at this hotel again. It is a short ten min walk from the town, has free underground secure car parking or there is free parking on the road outside, so it's worth the short walk into town and not having to park your car in their busy public car parks. Dinan also has a multi-storey car park which is very reasonably priced. You don't need a car in the town anyway, too busy and you may miss something that you would see on foot!
Review 8:Just fab rooms, really spacious for a family room, in fact enormous. Lovely renovation of a building and a perfect location for a stop off before (or after) a ferry crossing, with the most beautiful town of Dinan to explore and eat in. Not to be missed. We will absolutely stay there again. Excellent value for money...
Review 9:In room 211. Could not sleep due to noise from pipes. They were rattling and banging all night.Pipes were near the toilet room in a boxed off part of the wall. Disturbed us most of the night.
Review 10:Very friendly staff and great décor in rooms
Review 11:A little futher out of Dinan centre for a cyclist than we had anticipated. Traffic noise as our room overlooked road on first floor.
Review 12:The hotel is very clean, with lovely white bedding. Great facilities and great breakfast. Secure area to store bike.
Review 13:Without a car, the location of the Hotel so far from the City Centre and in a wholly uninteresting, indeed featureless, location was a huge drawback.
Review 14:Lovely room (although the absence of window stays made it difficult to keep the windows only partially open), and the separate loo was an excellent feature, albeit without a handwash.
Review 15:everything shuts down at 10pm - no access to even a bottle of water after Breakfast only of medium standard - could be easily improved More like 'apartment facility than hotel' parking on roadside
Review 16:good location on outskirts of Dinan, very comfortable room disabled traveller facilities very good
Review 17:Excellent location. 7 minutes walk to the centre of old Dinan. Staff very friendly and helpful. Perfect with the secured underground parking. Quited location.
Review 18:the thing which let the hotel down was the breakfast. We come down for breakfast at 9.30 which was well before it closed at 11am to very little food on trays. As my French not to good I tried to say but staff only filled up the two things I pointed too.
Review 19:The room was modern and clean, staff very welcoming at reception
Review 20:sloping roof therefore danger of banging head when getting in/out of bed, chairs in room could have been larger, due to trees immediately around the hotel it was difficult to see signage for entrance to hotel initially
Review 21:Spacious room, tastefully decorated, large comfortable bathroom, good sized shower, all fixtures/fittings/decor very tastefully done.
Review 22:Shower screen wasn't water tight so leaked all over the floor Couldn't get logged onto WI-FI
Review 23:Room size - We had a family room lovely Views where lovely from the generously sized windows cleanliness Comfortable beds Staff friendly and very helpful
Review 24:Nothing.
Review 25:The suite was very large so plenty of room for the 4 of us, and the sofa bed was already made into a double bed for our children. Beautiful old barracks building and a good, very quite location just out of Dinan. Not a sound at night either from other rooms or from outside. Good choice of breakfast and all self service. We had reserved a parking space (which is in an underground car park chargeable at 5Euros but didn't use it as there is plenty of free parking o the road outside the hotel.
Review 26:Only that as a British person i like 3 good cups of tea in the morning and i still cannot get used to the local brew!
Review 27:The hotel was clean the staff were helpful, secure on site parking, it was a good stroll in to town but was not a problem. Had what i think was a superior room [r110] and the bed was very comfortable.
Review 28:Easy hotel to find but difficult parking to find until we parked up in the vetinary car park and walked over to find where to park our car and trailer. However underground parking was absolutely excellent.
Review 29:Lovely room. Excellent security with the underground parking. Very friendly staff. Really lovely spa. Would recommend to others.
Review 30:Lacks atmosphere. Staff hardly spoke and were not smartly dressed, they were sitting around having coffee in the dining room at breakfast. Very disappointed to learn there was a 12euro per person fee for limited use of hot tub, steam and sauna which didn't open until 9am. Breakfast very basic. The information in the hotel room offered eggs for breakfast but there weren't any available.
