Review 1：A lot of steps up to apartment. Not suitable for elderly or infirm.
Review 2：Beautiful apartment in a fantastic location in Agia Galini. Good parking in square below. Friendly staff. Convenient for exploring Minoan sites of Festos, Gortys and Agia Triada. Lots of tavernas nearby.
Review 3：The "water view" claim was NOT true for our room. Many many steps to climb to get to the place, not recommended for the elderly. We were asked to pay cash for our stay - we had chosen the credit card payment option during booking.

Review 18：The room was off the terrace also used as a breakfast area. I thought this would be a problem but it wasn't. There was an easy going atmosphere about the place and the host was easy to talk to and had plenty of information to say about the village and restaurants to recommend. The breakfasts are excellent, though the choice is limited. I had t catch an early bus so the breakfast time was brought forward for us. The location seems high up the hill when you are in the harbour, but there is a little longer way to walk avoiding the steps if you wish,but we soon got used to them and for going out to dine there is no need to go to the very bottom unless you wanted a harbout restaurant.

Review 20：Not so much a didn't like but WiFi worked best on balcony. A lot of stairs however there is an access road behind hotel where you can drive to drop off luggage, then go park elsewhere.
Review 21：Location right in middle of village so lots of tavernas. We were only there for a night and it suited this purpose for us. Free parking close by, we could see the car from balcony. The owner asked each guest if they were okay which was thoughtful.

Review 23：The view from the AKTEON hotel over the picturesque harbour of Agia Galini and the Libean sea is absolutely MAGNIFICENT!!! just a few steps from the center of the village with all the shops,cafès and taverns! Just 10 minutes from the beach! AKTEON is one of the oldest buildings but renovated. Each room has toilette and refrigerator. The use of Air Condition and Wi-Fi are in price included. The rich cretan breakfast is delicious! The owner Mrs. Eleni and her mother Mrs. Erofili are very friendly! They speak English and do always the best for their guests. For me: simply the best place to stay!!!

Review 47：This is a great family owned hotel. Basic, but very well kept. Great views over the square, quayside and sea. Very central to all amenities as well as being quiet and peaceful. Good breakfast on the terrace with the harbour views. Extremely good value. There are a lot of steps involved but this is expected in Agia Galini.
Review 48：The room was much smaller than expected, and very basic - the fridge was wedged in so the cupbard wouldn't open. No storage space to speak of due to this. But you get what you pay for, so no real complaints.
Review 49：The location is perfect, except for the steps, but everywhere in Agia Galini will have this issue! The view was great, the terrace was nice, and the breakfast was good - all in all excellent value and a great base in this lovely town.
