Reviews for Premier Inn Camberley

Review 1:Everything about the hotel was fantastic, this was our first visit to a Premier Inn and we couldn't have been happier with the friendly welcome, the cleanliness of the rooms and the quality of the food. (far nicer than the Hilton we stayed in in London).

Review 2:Nothing!

Review 3:Really friendly helpful guy at reception was he called glen!!!!! Really helpful. Also, a very clean room. Didn't have to use my sleeping bag. Thank you. Great location for the lakeside darts. The taxi firm around the corner were great too! A great stay.

Review 4:The shower configuration was a little awkward and hot water a bit lacking at peak time.

Review 5:Standard Premier Inn levels of comfort and facilities. You know what you are going to expect.

Review 6:The meal on the first night was a mixed grill and I'm sorry to say was inedible, but there was no chef apparently so the reception staff had to cook it. But once the chef was in after that the food was good. Also I asked how to join the wifi network but none of the staff knew how too ! No parking for drop off or pick up.

Review 7:Room was very clean, bed very comfy. Bath filled very quickly and food was good apart from dinner on first night.

Review 8:Room didn't have good sound proofing so was disturbed by noise from people walking by going to town centre. Avoid rooms with windows facing street leading to shopping centre

Review 9:Good value for money over this period

Review 10:The whole experience was made easy by the incredible staff who although we were a late arrival still arranged a meal for us which as my husband is diabetic was a must and saved us having to goe looking for a resturant .I will be passing you on to friends as I am so impressed .

Review 11:There is nothing to complain about

Review 12:This hotel was excellent and would stay here again, have already passed our thoughts on to other family & friends.

Review 13:Tv had a poor connection. The car park is a short walk away from the hotel and costs £6.00.

Review 14:Right in the town centre with lots of restaurants and shops.

Review 15:It would be better if there was parking closer to the hotel. We have two asd girls and a toddler and walking through the shops was difficult.

Review 16:The staff couldn't do enough to help us. We have severe food allergies and they sorted everything out before we went to sleep for breakfast. The room was massive. As always the beds were so comfortable. Everything was perfect.

Review 17:Missed some basics. Like phone in room. As an international traveller I was not in a position to make calls using my phone and had to keep going to reception for questions. Tough luck late at night when you are travelling alone with a young one.

Review 18:Loved the location and the cleanliness

Review 19:The time the food came out as staff had gone on a team building session and the staff there had no idea of where everything was and food was not there or been out ready for that evenings service ...the staff should of been shown and given a tour of the stuff in the building before that night ..My son is a diabetic type 1 and to be waiting on food was poor and unsatisfactory even the staff of that evening were so apologetic to us over and over this could and should of been sorted out pre staff team building!!!!

Review 20:The staff were friendly and happy and helpful

Review 21:Arrived at 10.40 pm on a Saturday Night and after long journey wanted to have a nice cold pint of beer to be told that the bar was closed I was told that there was a pub down the road !! I asked Alex as to why I could not have a drink and he said the till had crashed !! The following morning I asked the supervisor at Breakfast why the bar was shut to residents and he said it was because it was "dead" so they shut it !!!

Review 22:Quiet Clean Room

Review 23:On the 2nd morning of my stay the bacon were a bit over done on my breakfast.

Review 24:The bed comfy bed in my room and the view looking towards the town centre.

Review 25:No parking facilities. Breakfast on Sunday morning - didn't cater for number of guests (lots of families), had to wait for hot food refill.

Review 26:Beds! So comfy and new!

Review 27:Rooms are extremely small.... Hotel situated by busy pubs and a main road.....we left a day early due to room size and getting little sleep from people above us banging which staff tries to tell us nobody was staying above us. Food in the hotel was diabolical and so over priced

Review 28:Staff were friendly

Review 29:It was 22:10 and we had a quick knock at the door as the staff member was knocking she was opening our door with her card rudely she barged in saying room 308 there to make a bed up!!! I'm sorry love but me n my partner were not decently dressed and our young children were asleep I politely told her she had the wrong room she then turned and left with no apology at all I could not believe how rude this was when I told the reception staff in the morning they could not care at all extremely rude and unprofessional

Review 30:Great location and room was clean

Review 31:An in room safe would be a plus, and parking at the Atrium while not too far away can be a nuisance with luggage and /or bad weather.

Review 32:Premier Inn has a good location in the centre of Camberley, and is well suited to both business travellers and leisure visitors like us. Check in and out is very efficient, rooms are reasonably equipped and free Wi-Fi OK but tedious re-login every so often. We did not use the restaurant but it looked inviting and the menu good. Plenty of other restaurants close by.

Review 33:As a number of people have mentioned, the location of the carpark makes it hard to find to hotel once you park and it is a longish walk.

Review 34:Clan, comfortable modern hotel about 30 minutes from Heathrow. Breakfast was good and it is very close to a number of local restaurants.

Review 35:Nothing bad to report. Parking is slightly difficult, as you need to either park at the Atrium or find a space on the streets after the restrictions are lifted.

Review 36:The hotel is very well located at Camberley town centre. Checking in was easy.

Review 37:Car parking multi -storey away from the hotel a awkward walk through a shopping moll!! No atmosphere very poor reception not very welcoming

Review 38:Food enjoyable

Review 39:I felt that the room for a family of four was to small, my youngest son of 8 years was on a bed that was hard and had what I felt was a metal bar in the middle. That said he slept well and I did not feel the need to complain for this reason, and because this was our first time with you and did not know what to ex spect. In future we will request adjoining rooms.. We also felt that there weren't enough staff as the ones there seemed to be working the front desk bar, and waiting on tables.

Review 40:The staff made our trip! They were so pleasant and helpful and I feel went above and beyond to help us. We travelled with a toddler and a child with special needs and the staff went out of their way to ensure we were looked after.

Review 41:I traveled with family and stayed in premier inn. Staff was really friendly and helpful, room was spacious and clean and breakfast was very good and plenty variety to choose from. I will go again.

Review 42:Excellent hotel. Stayed with our grandchildren and had a great room , brilliant breakfast and Very helpful and pleasant staff especially on reception. Will definitely use again.

Review 43:Breakfast was poor.had to wait to get all hot options to eat. Parkingneeds to be explained better on website before arival

Review 44:Very clean. Had a great nights sleep

Review 45:The distance from car park was too far away carrying heavy baggage particularly for an older couple Also the fact that we paid twice for our breakfast as it had already been paid for but we were told we had to pay for it

Review 46:Comfortable bed

Review 47:Parking was a little disappointing

Review 48:Value for money, friendly staff, comfortable and clean room. Great location. Only slight issue was parking other than that perfect.

Review 49:parking is a very short walk from the hotel, it's fine didn't bother us, parking tended to be £6 a night because we're not early risers

Review 50:lots, the staff were excellent, a real credit to premier inn. the room was clean and comfy and the food was up to standard. They all made us feel very welcome and a had to grumble about noise on Saturday night and the staff dealt with it immediately and I didn't hear another peep.

Review 51:No free parking, heavy bags to carry a long way. Breakfast uninspiring. Too much paper based promotion of other items for sale, no written introduction to room or free services. Wanted an alarm call. Telephone number 0 not answered. Had to get dressed and speak to the barman. Design of breakfast room could be better. View from window obscured by frosted glass with advertising. Layout of buffet food confusing, every customer needed a guided tour. Open plan layout would be better.

Review 52:Great, clean room. Lovely bathroom, lovely bedding. Beautifully quiet, Red bush tea in restaurant. Proximity to retail options nearby.

Review 53:Evening resturant staff on the Monday not so great. Waited a long time to be served at table and it wasn't busy only 2 other tables (table of 2 and 1).

Review 54:Zak was really friendly and was very helpful. We liked our room and the bed was very comfortable. Overall very good service and a good hotel would recommend.

Review 55:The breakfast is amazing and the room is really confortable

Review 56:The staff that received me on the arrival was not friendly. I asked to check in but I didn't have my debit card with me and he refused to. I said I just wanted to put my luggage in my room and take a shower and after I would go to my office (literally next to the hotel to pick up my card) and he still refused it. Even if I didn't show up my card they could charge on my debit card, like they would do if I didn't show up. The rest of the staff was great, was just this men....

Review 57:The breakfast was poor-not the usual Premier Inn standard. The food kept running out and the staff couldn't clean the tables fast enough. Shame as food is delicious.

Review 58:Great room and great bed.

Review 59:No where for children to play

Review 60:Staff were amazing went out of their way to please us and entertain the children- sweets balloons and colouring books bought to us at dinner.

Review 61:We should of had a bed for 3rd child and didn't get it. My girls aged 10 & 12 had to share a bed!!! Not impressed considering I am a head housekeeper in a 4star hotel!!! Cleanliness was excellent

Review 62:Only down side was distance from parking but overcame this by dropping off and picking up outside hotel. No drop off zone though

Review 63:Location directly opposite RMAS. Well appointed, modern and exceptionally clean hotel. Staff couldn't do enough for us and always smiling. Restaurants close by

Review 64:Well, parking is tricky but we were warned.

Review 65:The location suited us and while we were booked into a room with a loose window that allowed sound to come in, this was immediately changed when we raised the problem. Air-conditioning was a bonus on the hottest days of the year.

Review 66:Car parking a little bit of a problem especially if travelling with children or elderly etc

Review 67:The hotel is ocean and met by friendly staff. Our room was excellent very warm at night but it is summer! Bed was extremely comfortable wanted to stay another night lol. Breakfast was good in the morning lots of choice.

Review 68:Considering Premier Inn is in the Whitbrrad chain, some Costa Coffee wouldn't go a miss. Had to go for a Starbucks after to get a good coffee, something lacking from the breakfast.

Review 69:There is nothing not to like! The price is excellent for what you get. Staff were keen to make sure you enjoyed your stay and have as good a service as I would expect from a five star hotel at reception. Room was clean and comfortable and breakfast was also very good. Great location as well.

Review 70:Staff seemed inexperienced and could not cope with the volume of guests wishing to dine in the evening. As a result, because we waited so long for our main course, we walked out and dined elsewhere. Our meal deal cost was refunded, thankfully.

Review 71:I liked everything and I would go again and recommend my friends and family.

Review 72:I liked everything about my experience. The staff where very professional and polite. I would choose no where else but the Premier inn. I can't fault nothing about my time there.

Review 73:Hotel was well located, easy to find and the main street was right on the doorstep. Parking at the nearby Atrium centre car park was at a very reasonable price and was easy to get to. We were able to pull up outside the hotel to drop our luggage off so this did not cause any difficulties at all. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

Review 74:Children running overhead early in the morning. Very annoying. And tvstations were blacked out or unavailable. Food was ok was chicken wingsundercooked and Missing sauce, should consider take out containers forthose who wish to dine in room

Review 75:Location, was in the heart of Camberley, near shopping, restaurants andentertainment and public transportation was nearby as well

Review 76:Car park requires 5 minute walk. Difficult with children in tow and carrying luggage. Would take several longtime trips if only 1 parent went. Double yellow lines outside the door so can't load stop and load up. Could perhaps take your chances in the facilities bay/ permit holders only across the road.

Review 77:Location in terms of finding evening meals

Review 78:The parking was a in a multi-storey car park away from the hotel.this needs to be made clear when booking. Also signs need to be clearer.

Review 79:Clean and comfortable, friendly staff. On site restaurant made things easier for family life.

Review 80:Didn't like the off site parking.

Review 81:Perfect location for touring about. Staff were excellent. Very friendly & nothing was ever too much trouble for them. Excellent all round service!

Review 82:A spacious room with a beautiful lounger to relax on instead of just the bed. Very quiet room. Excellent breakfast. Lots of friendly assistance available at all times.

Review 83:My wife is disabled and recommended parking was quite a distance from hotel

Review 84:Comfortable, quiet and spacious room. Breakfast was good and spaciously laid out. Good location, close to shops and numerous restaurants.

Review 85:I was told to book online when I was actually at the reception desk (weird!), then I booked the wrong day. They changed it in front of me and told me payment would be taken automatically. The next day, the guest I booked it for turned up and was turned away because the room wasn't paid for. I then spent over an hour on numerous phone calls trying to resolve. I don't mind that there was a miscommunication about payment, but to take over an hour to resolve while my guest is on the street waiting is unacceptable. It could've been resolved in 10 minutes if the staff were competent and didn't just try and fob me off with 'the computer says no' excuses.

Review 86:"Quadruple room" is misleading. My fault, I assumed it was two double beds Holiday Inn-style. It's one double bed plus a sofa that can be turned into a single bed and another single bed brought in if required. It would be a very tight squeeze to sleep 2 adults, 2 kids.

Review 87:Right opposite the gates of RMAS the hotel could not be better situated to attend Sovereign's Parade.

Review 88:Bed was really uncomfortable.....too hard. WiFi was non existent....unless one paid, of course. Noise from air con units outside window so loud.

Review 89:Very clean. Good price at £53. Staff lovely. Convenience.

Review 90:Nothing.

Review 91:Staff were very helpful couldnt do enough and very friendly...the food was very good plently of choice with two young children there was always something there that they would like. The hotel itself was situated in a very good place near shops and other food places if you wish to use them.

Review 92:Parking is in multistorey carpark behind hotel which was absoloute chaos when we got there and the rooms where supposed to be air conditioned but they where boiling and it wasn't even nice outside

Review 93:Extra friendly staff, great restraunt, perfect little town.

Review 94:Bed is not good, i had severe back and shoulder pains in the morning. wifi is not working, i complained on this but no responce. Staff never lifts the call.

Review 95:Allowed me ealry check in.Thank you very much for this.

Review 96:Car park is 5-10 minutes walk. Longer with heavy bags and small children. 30 minutes a day free wi-fi does not justify the statement "free wi-fi".

Review 97:Good breakfast, good location in camberley. Friendly helpful staff. Good all round really.

Review 98:No parking facilities had to use shopping precinct and walk quite a way with luggage. Also extra cost.could provide biscuits with tea facility please.

Review 99:Staff really helpful hotel clean and comfortable

Review 100:The location in Camberley is on a main road so when built 2+ years ago should have included adequate glazing to suppress road traffic noise. This was not the case and the traffic noise was very evident consequently a bad nights sleep.

Review 101:Premier Inns generally are clean comfortable and dependant upon when you book can be value for money. Most PI's are good to stay in.

Review 102:Parking is quite a distance away in the shopping centre which is really difficult with bags. Wifi was down across the whole Premier Inn network which seemed odd in itself and a frustration for guests.

Review 103:Good room and good sleep.

Review 104:A bit annoyed that we had to park and then pay for parking at the shopping centre coz the hotel has no parking facilities. Every time we wanted to travel around we had to pay for parking and then get a new parking card. Spent over £20 just for parking over a one night stay

Review 105:Staff were friendly and the bed was gloriously comfy!!

Review 106:Very expensive for this town. Camberley is a small town. I stayed in similar hotels in metropolitan cities with much less money. But ok compared to London,it is cheap I guess.

Review 107:Really friendly staff! Clean, easy to find, right in the centre of Camberley.

Review 108:Quite noisy as it is in the town centre near a very busy main road.

Review 109:Very comfy beds Excellent breakfast Very friendly and helpful staff that helped us to check in early

Review 110:I'm afraid I didn't get a perfect night's Sleep on eitherNight I was at pi Camberley. This was because of Inadequate SoundInsulation in my Room which meant extraneous Traffic Noise from thea30 Road Outside (particularly on the Saturday Night) kept me fromSleeping properly. Because of this I Do Not Feel that I got Good vfmfrom the Price I paid - even though I got a reduced Rate- 2-NightDeal. WiFi did not Work!

Review 111:Cleanliness Good and Staff were fine.

Review 112:Room was very noisy.330/328 Contractors eating Breakfast in their dirty overalls, not even removing their Hi-Vis Jackets. 1 Lift out of order. Vending machine out of order.

Review 113:Bed was comfortable Breakfast was excellent.

Review 114:one vending machine not working. one lift out of use.

Review 115:Friendly staff on arrival. Quite clean room. Comfortable beds. Spotlessly clean bathroom with ample towels, extra pillows. Good selection of TEA and COFFEE,etc Bar and Restaurant as required. Hotel in just the right place for access to Camberley town for farmers market and the mall' we really enjoyed this visit and would recommend it.

Review 116:Car Parking not on site. Cars have to be parked in a busy multi story parking facility which was fairly close by and inexpensive for a 1 overnight weekend stay

Review 117:Excellent service and value for money, everything I have come to expect from a stay at a Premier Inn. The meal deal is also a convenient, welcome and cost effective addition to any stay.

Review 118:no parking - with 2 children under the age of 3 there was a lot of baggage and the car park was quite a walk away, we bought the car around to load it up and ended up with a £75 parking ticket which was a bad ending to our stay

Review 119:the friendliness of the staff

Review 120:no car parking facilities; the multi-storey is a 5 minute walk away, not too convenient if you are carrying heavy bags.

Review 121:slap bang in the town centre, with lots of places to eat & drink on the doorstep, along with shops, cinema, bowling etc.

Review 122:Car parking is a bit of a trek but not as expensive as some locations. Directions from the car park to the hotel are very poor. If you have lots of luggage this is not a good location.

Review 123:Staff were excellent. Food from the bar and at breakfast was very good. Good location at the end of the high street. Probably the best premier inn I've visited.

Review 124:The friendly welcome The ease of checking in The delicious breakfast The clean and perfectly adequate room The guarantee of a good night's sleep The signs reminding guests to be quiet in the corridors The furnishings

Review 125:The parking! You have to use The Atrium Carpark and pay for it. On a Saturday it's extremely busy and we queued for 40miutes to get a space. Very inconvenient and time consuming. And then you have to walk through the shopping centre to get to the hotel. Not ideal.

Review 126:The staff were very friendly and helpful with any requests.

Review 127:Didn't get any sleep, everytime I moved the bed would squeek and rattle... Very disappointing as I stay in premier inns a lot, never had this before.

Review 128:It was clean and tidy

Review 129:only thing I did not like was there was no parking, when you travel with kids, there is nothing more stressful than parking as kids what to take the whole house.

Review 130:The staff was helpful and it was a lovely stay, kids enjoyed there beds and the room was a nice size and clean.

Review 131:Everything. The staff (especially Michelle & night porter) were so helpful with regards to parking and generous helpings of extra coffee and milk. A thoroughly enjoyable stay. We will be back in April.

Review 132:No hotel parking. Nearest multi storey car park was not close and usually very full. Had to park on double yellow lines outside ground floor door and unload cases before driving off to car park.

Review 133:Friendliness and courtesy of staff. Comfortable rooms with all usual hotel facilities (TV, tea and coffee making, extra pillows, hair drier etc) Excellent breakfast and dinner in very pleasant restaurant and bar. Top rate facilities for a reasonable price. Very good value

Review 134:Having to book 2 rooms for 3 adults when we would have preferred to share. The 3rd bed in the room was big enough for 3rd adult

Review 135:Location very good for the function we were attending

Review 136:The car park having no direct access to the hotel and being poorly sign posted from the car park to the hotel.

Review 137:The family room was a good size. The breakfast was nice and the childrens was free which was great.
