Reviews for Vacances Mont Blanc - Résidence Le Grand Panorama

Review 1:Very small apartment. Very dirty stained living room carpet and uncomfortable sofa too small for our group.

Review 2:The hotel was located well with a good view. Friendly staff when reception was open. Lovely pool. Well equipped kitchen

Review 3:Good value apartment in a beautiful part of the French Alps that is close to a number of popular areas but not too busy.

Review 4:The apartment was very hot during the heatwave of June / July 2015, try to request an east facing apartment to avoid the worst of the afternoon heat (unless that's what you like of course).

Review 5:I think the room was a little small for 5/6 adults & teenagers which was not clear when booking. When the sofabed was made up, there was only the dining room chairs to sit on or the balcony chairs. We would have been better with a 3 bedroom apartment or similar. Perhaps this could be made more clear as I dont think the larger rooms were that much more expensive & we will go for this next time.

Review 6:The location was perfect! Jennifer is an asset to you.

Review 7:The room was in dire need of maintenance (flooring not flush, cracked paint, stained couches etc...). Staffing was limited but friendly (although this was admittedly the low season).

Review 8:Location is ideal. Kitchen facilities in the room made meal preparation easy.

Review 9:Beware: when we booked in we were asked to pay full amount, deposit hadn't been taken into account....

Review 10:excellent location, lovely light, airy apartment

Review 11:Room unclean and staff too busy to be helpful. Booking.com appear absolutely no help when trouble arises.

Review 12:Simple and close to the lift, easy walk to St. Gervais in the evening too.

Review 13:Needed a bit of a clean and details suggested there was an oven, but there was only a microwave and hob.

Review 14:Close to cable car and friendly, helpful staff

Review 15:We had an apartment which had space for six people to sleep (4 beds and two fold down sofas. There were only two of us so this was perfect for our requirements. At full capacity of six people, the space may feel a little congested.

Review 16:Great location, exactly as described and therefore just what we wanted.

Review 17:Have to pay extra for bedding and towels, extra for wifi, extra for tv. Apartment very bare. Not at all homely. A few touches would make this an excellent place to stay

Review 18:Excellent location only 50m from the Bettex Ski Gondola. Good spacious apartment with separate bedroom with ensuite. Bunk beds in the hall, and sofa bed in the lounge.

Review 19:Wifi in the lobby didn't work on several occasions. In addition, we paid for wifi in the room (only allowed for one unit), and even that only worked when we sat by the door of the room. The beds weren't very comfortable, and they didn't have any rooms with double beds. Also, the appartment wasn't very clean when we arrived. The radiator in the bathroom didn't work.

Review 20:Very close to a ski lift. Decent size appartment.

Review 21:I feel quite good, if must say something, I think maybe the items of which need to pay, a little tedious. need to pay for wifi in the room, but in public area you can touch the wifi free.

Review 22:Helpful staff, good location, fulfill equipment

Review 23:The staff are very welcoming, helpful and professional. The location is great; immediately beside the cable car station, 2 minutes to a bakery for fresh bread, 15 minutes walk into the town centre, making it a viable option if you are without a car. The balcony was big enough to eat out on and the view of Mont Blanc is spectacular (only half of the rooms face in this direction, but the views in all directions are great). The swimming pool is a nice bonus too. The apartment was the described as "one bedroom with alcove sleeping 5-6 adults". It had two bedrooms, one with a double and one with bunk beds, a bathroom, a shower room and a toilet. The kitchen has 4 hobs, a microwave, a good sized fridge and plenty of plates, cutlery etc. We were a party of 4 adults and 2 small kids and the apartment was just about big enough. I think 6 adults in a 38m apartment for longer than a few nights would be a bit much. The room rate does not include bedsheets or end of stay cleaning, which seems to be the norm in France. If it keeps prices down and holidays affordable then I'm all for it. They inspect the room on departure to make sure it is clean and not damaged before they return the deposit. We spent an hour cleaning on the last morning and had no problem getting the deposit back. Overall; a great option if you're on a tight budget.

Review 24:Short reception opening time.

Review 25:Nice clean apartment. Good equipment. Nice pool.

Review 26:Sofa, uncomfortable to sit on. No TV without paying. No Wifi in appartment without paying.

Review 27:Size of appartment good.

Review 28:Sheets very thin and given two single duvets for a double bed. Staff rarely available.

Review 29:Location, friendly staff, laundry facility, size of apartment, relaxation area.

Review 30:The hotel charges for linen, towels, tv and wifi. These all add up to very costly extras. I would make sure you weight up having to an extra €80 to €150 on top of the cost of you initial booking, plus you've to clean the room at the end, and it must be spotless. There is a 10 to 15min walk to the nearest shop, difficult with children.

Review 31:Clean

Review 32:They advertise free wifi, but there is only free wifi if you stand in the reception and you have to request it, otherwise you pay if you want it in your room. Cleaning services, linen and towels are not included in the cost and are expensive if you wish to have it. After a lovely skiing weekend away, the trip was ruined by having to clean the room. The toilet was also very dirty and stained. The bathroom smelt. There was mould on the bathroom walls in the the extractor fans. My husband and I were given a room with 2 single beds. The pillows were extremely uncomfortable that we chose to sleep without them.

Review 33:Location is ideal. It is situated in close walking distance to the ski lift.

Review 34:the beds are not very comfortable, the bathroom with toilet smelled bad and under the beds it hasn't been vacuum cleaned since a long time.

Review 35:The location is great, very close to town and the skiing lopes, staff very friendly

Review 36:Only issue would be that WiFi is only available in reception and common area downstairs.

Review 37:We couldn't be any closer to the ski lift if we tried, as well as being close walk to local amenities and social activities. It was also great value for money. Staff were very helpful, and catered for all our needs.

Review 38:Apartment a bit tatty especially carpets. Would be nice to be decorated nicer

Review 39:Very handy for the Cable car to the slopes. quiet & quite spacious apartment

Review 40:No oven which was a challenge for cooking. There are 4 hobs and a microwave, so I was pleased I had brought a cookpot. WIFI is very limited.... only free in reception which was intermittent due to number of users. We bought the WIFI for the flat only to discover 30 euros for the week was only for one device and the reception was poor....not great for teenagers!

Review 41:Great central location only 5 mins walk to lift Easy check in and were able to access the flat at 10am and were on the slopes by 11am. Bedding and cleaning were easy to sort on arrival and returning the deposit was immediate at the end of the stay. Accomodation was as shown in the pictures. We had a flat for 9 which comfortably slept 6, but we did have to walk through one double room to access the second. Ski-ing was good, particularly is Les Contamines which is well worth the 10 minutes drive... much quieter, lifts well connected and better snow

Review 42:Everything was an add on at a price, from bedding linen to television facilities

Review 43:The location was amazing

Review 44:Accommodation states 1 bed (6 people) but would be too cramped, it should be for max 4

Review 45:Location Staff
