Review 1：We stayed at the Adjudent, so my comments relate solely to that property. Prior to arrival we were advised that if we didn't arrive at a specific time we would be charged extra. So we arrived early, and waited and waited. Half an hour after our rendezvous time we went looking for someone to open up the building (having previously been told that the key would be in the door). We went to main house for La Bastide, which we had been told was not the entry point of our building, however at that time it was the only place with any activity. Finally we found someone who could give us a key 45 minutes after the check-in time. The building is well maintained with all necessary requirements, although there is no en-suite toilet to the main bedroom, so the downstairs toilet has to be used. The pump for the swimming pool is located on the garden wall in front of the main bedroom and runs all night. Not only was there no-one to meet us, but there was a lack of any contact from the management of the property: at the price charged I would at least have expected a welcome letter, brochures on activities within the immediate area, details of restaurants - menus and prices, together with locations. There was a bottle of wine next to the stove and some open groceries on a shelf but these could have been left by a previous renter. Nor was there a visitors book as is usually found. Half way through our stay we were presented with a letter asking for credit card details to cover the costs of additional cleaning (already included in the rental) and, electricity consumption. I was not prepared to pay this although I would pay up to 400 euro for any damages identified as having been caused by my group at the hand over at the end of our stay. We had arranged to clear the property at 10:00 on the final day, and waited for someone to come inspect the building so we could leave as we had a long drive to make that day.
