Reviews for Farnborough Serviced Apartments
Review 1:Veeery expensive. For the same price in Aberdeen we had a 1 bedroom flat, with daily cleaning and washing up. I know that's up in Scotland, but it's not like Farnborough is Covent Garden or something. But then again, we paid it, so maybe the price is right. Until premier inn opens next door....
Review 2:Nothing in particular to like. It's decent overall.
Review 3:Noise from traffic outside. Windows could definitely benefit from secondary glazing or similar.
Review 4:Excellent studio apartment, everything I needed was there. Parking good, walking distance to rail station, shops including Sainsbury's very close.
Review 5:Bed too hard Shoe prints in bath when arrived Curtains stained Floor had mess on didn't look hovered Food splatters on wall near bin Located next to a Indian restaurant whole lounge and bedroom smelt of food all day Located oppersit a building site 7.30 ground work started no lie in Chairs for table were miss match
Review 6:Noise from the road. The constant noise during the day and evening was OK, but in the middle of the night when it as quiet and a loud motorcycle roared out of the near by roundabout it will wake you.
Review 7:Nice appliances. Even provided soap for the dishwasher and washer. Much better than a hotel.
Review 8:Fire alarm went off on a Sunday afternoon. No one came out for over an hour. Someone had burnt toast, so not a problem. Not sure what it'd be like in a real emergency though.
Review 9:Well located for station and local shopping. Clean and comfortable apartment.
Review 10:Why not a king size bed - there's plenty of room for one? Mattress could be better quality.
Review 11:Clean, modern, everything you need. Outstanding accommodation.
Review 12:Extremely noisy , annoyingly noisy from the road beside it . Really spoiled the whole beauty of it. Would not recommend for this reason for any one Travelling for exams or wanting a good sleep and rest at night . Room lock numbers too messy and complicated for me
Review 13:Location, cleanliness , and wide comfortable room . Beautiful
Review 14:Parking is awful, rooms stink, they "forgot" to pay the deposit back until I chased them. Located just by a busy main road. Mattress was like paper.
Review 15:The booking line
Review 16:Tbe staff and accomadation great the booki g line seiko not great completely messed up my booking and only because of the proffessuonalisn of the manager on dutydid this get resolved
Review 17:Lack of landscaped garden or plants and nearby unkept shops and construction work.
Review 18:We loved the spaciousness of the flat and its proximity to facilities.
Review 19:Nothing in particular.
Review 20:We stayed in SACO reading road before moving to Farnborough serviced apartments and enjoyed our stay at both places. The best thing about both places is the manager Jacqui who is very accommodative and understanding. Whenever we had any complaints or special requests, they were addressed immediately and positively. I would definitely recommend the apartments to anyone looking for clean and comfortable place to stay.
Review 21:I didn't receive the code for getting into the front door or the key safe and the duty manager mobilie number didn't pick up so I had to call the SARCO head office to get checked in. Didn't see a single member of staff the whole time I was there so don't have a receipt. The wifi was very slow making business use via VPN difficult. The mattrass was very poor and I could feel every spring. Felt very cheap.
Review 22:The facilities were good and the location was pretty good for my needs.
Review 23:The internet was awefully slow. Our room was next to the busy road and was very noisy in the evening. Would be helpful to have provided washing up liquid.
Review 24:The kitchen was above expected standards. The sofa was comfy and so was the bed with extra pillows. The reception was unmanned but very easy to get hold of someone with the given mobile number. We arrived early and were able to check in with no problems or wait which was fantastic.
Review 25:Unusual self-entry involving codes and safe-cracking, but not really a problem if the instructions were followed.
Review 26:It had everything I'd want from a hired apartment. Manager was really helpful when I stupidly left my iPhone in the kitchen.
Review 27:The price was steep and you couldn't get the keys before 4pm and had to be out by 11am. To get in any earlier would of cost £30. For a double room it only had 1comfy chair. Needed a two seater sofa.
Review 28:The apartment was spacious & clean. Had everything we needed for self catering. Tea coffee and milk all available.
Review 29:No staff out of hours and took ages on several calls to get access, emergency contact number left transferred to central office and was not answered even after waiting over 20 mins... Had to call several numbers before I got to through to a nice person who finally did helped me.
Review 30:size of room
Review 31:Reception is only manned until 17:30. I booked late but didn't receive an email with instructions how to gain access to the property. Fortunately, somene let me in and there was a contact number on reception. No breakfast cereal in apartment as advertised.
Review 32:The extra space you get over a hotel room
Review 33:Lack of access to WiFi
Review 34:Excellent facilities, everything you needed was provided in the room apart from WiFi which I could not access all the time I was there (nine days).
Review 35:WiFi error. No cereal arranged. Big windows (noise form outside, street noise).
Review 36:Whole apartment arrangement. Flooring. Lighting. Big windows (good day light, good view). Kitchen appliances. Location.
Review 37:Extremely warm with no fan and windows that would not let any breeze in, it was uncharacteristically hot though. Quite close to main road so a bit noisy.
Review 38:Price and room in general was excellent.
Review 39:Noisy but had to have the windows open due to the heatwave! Bed a tad hard and gigantic pillows. Being picky though!
Review 40:Loads of space. View was fantastic. Complementary Milk in the fridge. Well furnished kitchen. Fantastic no hassle place to stay!
Review 41:All of the kitchen Ware was filthy. Probably due to the dishwasher not working. The flat got way too hot even with all the windows open. The bathroom is tiny, makes it very squashy when you want to use the toilet.
Review 42:It was a nice distance from shops and restaurants. Good choice of TV channels.
Review 43:Friendly and helpful staff. Clean apartments, nice touch to have milk and water in fridge on arrival.
Review 44:I reckon the place. Was a great experience.
Review 45:I thought it was overpriced

Review 83:The location, staff.
Review 84:A bit noisy from the roads and walls between apartments quite thin.
Review 85:Great location, and good facilities.
Review 86:Rough looking from the outside. Key code to get back inside didn't work. Room was very basic yet clean enough. Overall an un pleasant experience.
Review 87:No Internet when we arrived
Review 88:They got the wifi fixed fairly quickly
Review 89:Value for money and great setup.
Review 90:It was like fairies ran the site not a sole to be seen anywhere but ran very smoothly.
Review 91:Loads of space and facilities. Staff very helpful.
Review 92:Nothing
Review 93:Quiet, peaceful, handy for town centre facilities
Review 94:Location - 45 mins from London
Review 95:I made the booking about 6 weeks before our stay. I received a confirmation email which stated that we would be contacted shortly before our stay with instructions on how to access the building and the apartment. 3 days before our stay no such information had been received. I sent emails and phoned, but received no reply. When we arrived (9pm on a Saturday night) there was a mobile number to call for emergencies, with a promise that the call would be answered immediately. I called - no answer, and left a voicemail. Called again repeatedly over the following 30 minutes but no one answered or returned my call. Fortunately some other guests showed us the code for the door, and how to open the safe inside to get our keys. So we finally got into our apartment at 10pm! We were called at 8.30 the following morning! No real explanation was given as to why no one responded to our call - excuses about not receiving a call from us or our messages! We did receive a night's compensation which is the least I expected. Just make sure that you check well in advance if you haven't received the check-in information.
Review 96:Was great for us as we were travelling with our 4 month old baby, so a serviced apartment is better than a hotel room as we could put the baby to bed and still sit up in the other room. Staff were friendly and helpful (following the disastrous start - see below). Very close to the train station and to the supermarket. Indian restaurant next door was superb! If you want to use a gym you can go to Fit4less which is nearby and you get a preferential rate if staying at the Max House apartments,
Review 97:Due to its location being directly adjacent to a busy main road and amajor traffic island the noise was distracting to say the least. Asthere was no air conditioning in the room you had to have the windowsopen which made trying to sleep nigh on impossible as there was trafficnoise until the early hours of the morning. This issue may well bedifferent in one of the rear facing rooms. My only other gripe was the bed which was so unconfortable that trying to find a suitalbe sleeping position was next to impossible.
Review 98:Good facilities and sufficient parking
Review 99:Hi, I was really impressed with the apartment itself. However, I really believe that a complimentary bottle of water would enhance one's stay especially given the price for short stays. I arrived late in the evening and there was no drinking water anywhere - no vending machines in the lobby - nothing. The tap water made me ill and the kettle was filthy so couldn't even make tea as there was do dishwashing liquid to clean it
Review 100:Modern flat. Comfortable bed. Modern, clean bath. Much better than any inn/hotel I've stayed at in the area.
Review 101:The bed was ok, but probably near the end of it's life. It could've done with being renewed to be honest.
Review 102:The apartment was mostly well equipt for a short stay break. The Farnborough one was perfectly situated for where we needed to stay. It was very clean, the towels and bedlinen were impeccable. There was even a tea towel included in the kitchen - something we hadn't thought to bring with us. A larger frying pan with a lid would have been useful, but the crockery was really nice.
Review 103:The apartment I had was facing the main road, the traffic noise can be a bit loud, which would annoy a lot of people, particularly if you were a light sleeper or wished to have a lay in.
Review 104:The apartment was clean and in good order.
Review 105:Initial entry was a worry as we had been travelling and therefore unable to access emails or have a contact phone number,if entry details had been emailed clearly to us on booking we would have had a smoother initiation into Max Apartments! Apartment was missing instruction details for all electrical devices which proved a hassle but was readily resolved when staff could be contacted. More hangers would be appreciated.
Review 106:Suited our needs, with the location to family and shops. Peronally enjoyed location of supermarket across road to enable us to maximise on kitchen facilites and English food! Staff very friendly and helpful, on the recepton as well as maintenance. Apartment fairly freshly furnished and clean, nice selection of kitchenware. taff arranged our 2nd stay to be in same room following our request, very happy with that service.
Review 107:It could be a little noisy being between 2 main roads
Review 108:Once you got the key unless you had a problem there was no need to seethe staff. The apartment had everything that you could want in it andwas very clean. I would certainly stay there again
Review 109:-The code sent to me for entry to the property didn't work and I was outin the cold for a while. -The ceiling lighting system works by insertingthe access card and "Leaving It" in the reader, however, the naturalaction for such cards as demonstrated in hotel use is to slide the cardin/out. I suggest that you update your welcome package with a briefdescription of this functionality.
Review 110:Clean, safe, modern, convienient, access to shopping andreasonably priced.
Review 111:The internet connection was problematic at times and I would have likedthe apartment to be vacuumed at least 2x a week. I also had a problemwith my booking in that I did not receive the details of what to dowhen I arrived. I did not have a local phone or local cash so wasunable to get hold of anyone and had to find alternate accommodationfor the 1st night.
Review 112:It had all the basics that I needed.
Review 113:convenient, spacious, clean - it would have made a good base for several days.
Review 114:Overall it was comfortable and convinient being really close to town and accessable to all bus routes.
Review 115:Some road noise, lack of Air Conditioning on a 'Muggy' night
Review 116:Furniture was not up to much ,we couldn't! Get comfortable or staycomfortable for too long.
Review 117:Well located for shops and restaurants.
Review 118:Lack of air conditioning
Review 119:Area of the room
Review 120:The apartment was clean and comfort.
Review 121:very clean ,luxurious apartment
Review 122:Road noise. Lack of seating and 'proper' table. No sateliite/cable TV. Very masculine feel to room and block.
Review 123:No nonsense no fuss accommodation.
Review 124:Bed was a little uncomfortable and perhaps black out curtains for better sleep.
Review 125:Self contained which is excellent
Review 126:traffic & pedestrian crossing noisey
Review 127:Very clean and smart apartment with all the mod cons.
