Located in Coleford, 18 miles from the Brecon Beacons National Park, Symonds Yat Rock Lodge offers bed-and-breakfast and self-catering accommodation in the Wye valley. WiFi is available in some rooms and free public parking is possible on site.

Review 1：With a young family we could have done with breakfast starting earlier. 8:30 was a bit late for us. We asked for a little bit of milk our first night there (about 50ml) for our little girl as we hadn't managed to get any on day of arrival. We weren't allowed any. I thought this was a bit harsh and think most other B&b's would oblige. On the plus side they did lend us a mini fridge when we located a shop following day.
Review 2：The location is great and the B&b comfortable. Breakfast is good. They let us borrow a fridge for the room to put milk in for our little girl. Loads of info for where to go.

Review 6：Really good location for walking in the Symonds Yat area and exploring further. The owners also provided a really useful folder with a number of dog friendly pubs and directions for walking and driving to them. We took one of the directions sheets with us to the pub and lost it(Sorry Rock Lodge!)
Review 7：Nice rural location in between the Forest and fields with sheep and view. Garden for guests. Easy parking. Very quiet. Attractive comfortable and well heated room (twin beds). Very good shower. Very good quality breakfast in pleasant breakfast room. Lots of info on things to do locally.
Review 8：A few minutes walk from Symond's Yat. The room was spotless. The owners were very friendly. It was quiet and warm with a view of the fields.
Review 9：The room was freezing cold. The heating was on but was on very very low and we were not able to control it within the room. So we had to basically sleep in full clothing and thick socks so as not to freeze to death! (yes the room was that cold). Walls are very thin and we could hear people from next door. Breakfast was ok but not the best we had in Wales and also a bit smaller than regular.

Review 12：Claire and Darren are very welcoming, friendly hosts.The apartment we stayed in was tastefully decorated, very clean and provided everything we needed for our stay. The location is wonderful and the access to the main towns of Monmouth, Cheptstow and Ross on Wye was very easy. Symonds Yat itself is a great place for walking.
