Reviews for Aron Guesthouse

Review 1:Small shower room described as en suite. If I was a generously proportioned lady I would have struggled with the loo and the basin! Thought it was b & b. but there was no breakfast.

Review 2:Room and location facing back garden and not the main road. Local parking overnight

Review 3:Bathroom was small and it was impossible to keep the water in the shower. Walls were quite thin and I could hear the people in the next room clearly.

Review 4:Close to tube with easy access to central London. Use of small kitchen and near a Sainsburys. Nice size room and sockets by the bed.

Review 5:Request for early check in and late check out was confirmed by owner. But not communicated to Chambermaid. A disagreement happened I offered to call Owner to verify request. Very Compact Shower and bathroom. Plus Hotel should submit emai and hotel reception number onto Booking.com for more efficient communication.

Review 6:The off street parking in front of Hotel. Use of a communal kitchen with fridge. New reception employee who was very accommodating. Use of iron and mini ironing board.

Review 7:The guest house is in a quiet location. We were welcomed by friendly staff. The room was very clean. There is plenty of parking space on the forecourt.

Review 8:Car parking is limited to 4 cars only and guests must be asked to confirm their car registration numbers. If guests are asked to park properly there could be a space for one more car. I've to pay £5 for car park which I didn't liked. Also the TV wasn't working.

Review 9:Good location and accommodation.

Review 10:Off Street Parking offered and not honored. I know it is a low rated Guesthouse but the beds need to be of at least a 'minimum' quality. Please invest in some mattress protectors to take some of the raw metal struts out of the equation. A soap dispenser instead of re-used (time after time) soap sachets, would be an idea. Cheap is as cheap does. Staff just do not seem to want to be there.

Review 11:Very close to the tube; South Ealing is a nice area to stay in.

Review 12:All I think it lacks is a smoking shelter and chang of towels daily I had to ask for clean towels didnt want room cleaning as do it myself but clean towels daily is essential

Review 13:room was clean but has stale/damp smell in room and bedding. small shower room with toilet where shower is over bath and no curtain available so after shower floor is very wet .

Review 14:easy access to central london and heathrow , just 2 mins away from tube station nice cafe down the road

Review 15:Horrid internet connection. Loud road next to window and thin walls. No breakfast.

Review 16:Large bed. Close to Sainsbury, cafes/restaurants and trainstation. Easy check in/out with friendly staff.

Review 17:The guesthouse is really nice situated! 3 minutes walk to the metro station only. Right on the Picadilly line so directly connected to the hotspots of London. For this price don’t expect to have a 4 star room but for a short stay in London this is very good. We only slept in the guesthouse, arrived at 9pm and left at 9am. We booked a room with an own bathroom. Bathroom was small but everything we need was in there. Free parking in front of the guesthouse

Review 18:Not enough information about if or where I could get breakfast, no information in the bedroom about where or when I could get breakfast, saw cleaner more than I saw other staff.

Review 19:Found it great for getting about, tube station just five minute walk and another half hour was at Kingscross.

Review 20:Wifi was painfully unreliable and slow making it difficult to plan and schedule our days. The "double" bed was 2 twins. Shower head was broken and sprayed water all directions.

Review 21:Short walk to the underground and groceries. Access to a small kitchen.

Review 22:It was clean and tidy, we had our own shower room which is a nice plus! We also had tea and coffee which was lovely! The gentleman in the office was nice and very helpful regarding taxis! Overall we had a great time! So near to the tube station too! That was our biggest love!

Review 23:Decorative standard of the building. Staines on bed linen. With a bit more attention to detail, this could be a beautiful place.

Review 24:Reasonable price for a last-minute booking in Ealing. For £ 20 less, I would have said "great value for money".

Review 25:Rooms have quite thin walls. Person next to us must have enjoyed their stay. Snoring was so loud I thought he was in the same room!

Review 26:Location good for access to South Ealing tube station. Free parking. Free wifi. Powerful shower!

Review 27:We did not have any negative experience.

Review 28:It's been peaceful, quiet and clean, just perfect for spending some nights after tiring walks and sightseeings. Polite, helpful staff, clean room and bathroom. Conveniently located. Not central but all attractions can be reached easily by the nearby tube.

Review 29:problem with access to Internet everyday. Almost every evening. Very occasionally we'll get a bit of Internet but only for very short period and usually is very slow and unstable. We stayed for two weeks and the problem persists everyday. One of the staff tried to fix it on the first day of our stay but the problem continues on and the other staffs insists that there is Internet but just very slow at night because many people are using it. Does not seem like they are dealing with it as an urgent problem. But infact most night there is no internet at all, even early in the morning ( ie. 4, 5 am) On the last two days of our stay we were unable to connect to Internet for whole day. We were very upset because one of the main reason we booked the hotel was because we thought we would haveaccess to free wifi to contact friends and family back home.

Review 30:There's a fridge to use. One of the staff helped us bring luggages up the stairs. And changed to twin room from a double room upon request.

Review 31:- The toilet is a bit small for the lower ground room that I stayed in. - There's a fragrance in the guest house that I'm not used to

Review 32:- It's very close to the tube station (around 3 minutes walk). - The bed is comfortable.

Review 33:The wifi connection was really low.

Review 34:The location is really great! Next to the underground, local shops, beautiful parks. The staff was really nice and helpful!

Review 35:it is difficult sometimes to get hold of somebody, either calling reception on the phone or ringing the bell. Luckily it has never been a problem but it can be annoying.

Review 36:location is good, very close to a Piccadilly Line tube station which goes from Heathrow to the West End. price is fair.

Review 37:The staff had NO manners or customer service skills. On checkout the cleaner took the key from my hand without saying anything (same person who struggled to welcome us with a smile). We got woken up at 8 a.m from the room above us being cleaned, so there was no choice of having a lay in!

Review 38:Location was great for getting in and out of london. The Underground station is within a couple of mins walk.

Review 39:The pillows were awful, spent the whole night awake because of trying to fold them in half! Thin as a sheet of paper. Bathroom couldn't move in, I'm pregnant and had no room to even bend down and pick a towel up. The cleaner couldn't speak a word of English yet she was there to check us in. Saw one member of staff in the 2 days we were there. I'd left something in the room and had to leave it there as was impossible to get back in the building to speak to anybody.

Review 40:The Location of the property was good. Its a minute walk from south ealing tube station which is on the Piccadilly line. Mattress was comfy and tea and coffee provided (could of had a spoon). Asked if we could leave our car there on Sunday for a few hours and they let us keep it there all day free of charge.

Review 41:They had no record of my booking and the lady spoke very little English so it was a little challenging at the beginning. I also received a cancellation email from them the following day, having spent the previous night there!?

Review 42:The room was clean, warm and generally comfortable.

Review 43:We stayed two nights and the room was never cleaned. The trash bin had waste in it when we arrived on the first day.

Review 44:They were flexible about check-in and check-out times. The proximity to the underground station was a plus, and the neighborhood in general was pleasant.

Review 45:We never received the breakfast box, the reception was closed, staff didn't speak English and noone picked up the phone.

Review 46:Very good location if you travel from Heathrow. the room was alright, spacious garden.

Review 47:Steps leading to the entrance need refurbishing. Windows might be cleaned more often. * * * * * SUGGESTION I'd like to have an access to the refrigerator, and maybe, some limited use of kitchen space (for fee?)

Review 48:I would recommend that place to people who do not live in the hotel while traveling, but only have a night sleep there and spend entire day somewhere else. The above guesthouse serve just that purpose. There was plenty of tea in the room, Also, there was a convenient access to a small grocery store. Location is perfect since it gives an easy ride to the airport as well as to the center of London. Little park nearby provides opportunity for a morning walk/jog.

Review 49:Close to the tube station, seemed a nice area with pubs within short walking distance. Good price for a guest house in London and very clean. Note - they don't do breakfast but this wasn't a problem for us!

Review 50:We turned up early to the guest house (1 hour before check in) and wondered if we could check in early before going into london. The first thing we noticed was that there were only 4 parking spaces, one of which was taken by a caravan which I can only think was the property of the hotel staff. The front door of the guest house was locked so we knocked and were greeted by a lady who could speak no English. After 20 minutes of talking on the phone to someone else who couldn't understand English we got passed a number to call the 'boss'. Eventually we got in contact with someone who turned up and checked us in, but it wasn't exactly a good start to the holiday at all. The room was clean however no milk for the tea and coffee, only a public fridge to put your own milk in. Every night and morning we were awoken by people talking/ shouting and laughing outside of our room, we could even here them in there own rooms, so got no sleep throughout the whole stay all. The shower head would not stay up so showers were not a comfortable experience either. I would not recommend anyone to stay in this hotel!

Review 51:Close to the tube

Review 52:The bed was very high and pushed up against the wall, which meant waking the person on the outside of the bed trying to clamber over them

Review 53:Clean and comfortable room. Just a short walk from South Ealing tube station.

Review 54:A little bit cold during the night

Review 55:Personnel/staff & near the tube station South Ealing

Review 56:Family room on top floor very cramped but can't argue because of the price.

Review 57:Spotlessly clean

Review 58:Comfy bed

Review 59:Loud front door, small shower room, no chair in room.

Review 60:I liked the location and parking space which is not always guaranteed. Friendly staff.

Review 61:Good place to stay, close to Tube South Ealing and University of West London

Review 62:It is close to the main street, but it was obvious from the map.

Review 63:Cool place, early check in :)

Review 64:Desk, shower, close to tube

Review 65:1:the bed is not clean enough 2:a little cold when i go to toilet 3:a little noisy

Review 66:big room, kitchen,location

Review 67:The noise from other rooms

Review 68:I love the relaxation i got when i came here.

Review 69:It wiill be perfect if the bedding & quilt are clean.

Review 70:Location, car park

Review 71:Clean rooms and quite location

Review 72:good location tube station into london is right opposite. Clean room.

Review 73:Bed linen and continental quilt could have been cleaner.

Review 74:Good location near tube station

Review 75:not a lot

Review 76:Rather small but ok.

Review 77:Near subway station, clean. Good neighbourhood. 30 min.to city centre

Review 78:a few things could be taken care of and repaired in bedroom

Review 79:nice location

Review 80:Too much noise of traffic and noise form doors.

Review 81:The price is reasonable.

Review 82:Location suited our visit free onsite parking No complaints

Review 83:Room was basic but nice and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. Overall a pleasant stay.

Review 84:nothing

Review 85:Staff location Value for money

Review 86:Price and proximity to underground station on the line to Heathrow.

Review 87:had to ask for towels

Review 88:Comfortable clean & tidy. Free parking.

Review 89:The size and facilities of the room was great had all we needed

Review 90:Wonderful stay, very happy and will be back!

Review 91:Very clean and the staff were very helpful and kind. Good location, very close to the tube in Zone 3.

Review 92:Staff didn't know how to communicate

Review 93:Good value, helped us out after another hotel messed our booking up.

Review 94:Bathroom was extremely cramped. Room does not come with breakfast.

Review 95:Location is close to tube stop. Neighborhood is fine. Bed was comfortable.

Review 96:Everything.

Review 97:Nothing.

Review 98:So small bathroom

Review 99:Cheep

Review 100:It might be a hassle but with two of us it would have been given an option of both of us with keys but that only came about due to one having incapacity issues. But all in all great stay

Review 101:self catering is a handy thing and the staff were very helpful, It was close to the tube so we could get into London with no hassle and parking was a must.

Review 102:Great location, two minutes from South Ealing tube station - nothing fancy, but good enough for a single night stay. Bed was clean and comfy, decent enough shower and free wi-fi.

Review 103:No lifts. Partly dusty.

Review 104:The hotel is on Piccadilly line, good access to airport and city. There are shops, supermarkets near. Staff are friendly and helpful. Free WiFi and good connection.

Review 105:- Wifi was shaky - shower curtains not suitable for such a small shower (sticking to your body) - shampoo only available in plastic bags which were difficult to open - blanket was not warm enough - walls quite thin

Review 106:- Staff very friendy - allowed to check out 1.5h later

Review 107:Guests in the next room cooked the smelliest food which stunk out all my clothes and suit.

Review 108:Next to Piccadilly line tube...friendly staff...breakfast of sorts in the room.

Review 109:Another chair in the room would have been useful.

Review 110:The guy on reception was friendly and welcoming, and asked if we wanted to see the room before we paid. The room was comfortable, overlooking the garden and the level of cleanliness excellent. The Aron is excellent value for money and is two minutes' walk from South Ealing Tube Station and a Sainsbury's Local and a few minutes walk in the opposite direction to a pub which served delicious food.

Review 111:shower over spilled onto floor. room could have been better organised to make more space. Bed to big for room,

Review 112:free parking. Walkable to tube and town. friendly staff. Plenty of tea milk etc.

Review 113:Original room was poor had to change. Bathroom very small. Only 1 pillow (not impressed) TV connected to wall could only be viewed clearly from one position.

Review 114:Location.

Review 115:I had a guest at Aron guest house. He was very pleased and said "thank you" many times. It was very clean and friendly place. We arrived before the check-in time, they didn't make any fuss about it.

Review 116:It looks like a house with sharing rooms , as a hotel system does not match . It was a women work in front desk , she always using her mobile phone.

Review 117:Chipset at that time comparing with others.

Review 118:Shower rail one of those screw-tight telescopic things, - but it wouldn't, and it fell down. And if you actually want any sleep, forget it: the walls are such as to make you long for a paper bag as a more effective alternative: somebody nearby seemed to be snoring almost inside my head all night, though there was nobody else in the room! Fairly impersonal; reception shut in the morning and when you arrive you're told just to leave your key in the room door next day and see yourself out. Two bulbs not working in the room. Bay window onto main road - quite noisy from early a.m. (no complaints as I knew about that in advance - but some wouldn't). Overall, very reasonable except that sleep was impossible. Another room and the absence of the person next door might change all that - but I can only comment on what I experienced.

Review 119:Extremely handy for where I work, and would be an ideal stopover between late evenings and early starts; also it seems to be less 'B&B' and more just 'the first B' - which is fine for me as cheap breakfast is to be had in any number of neighbouring places. Comfortable bed, very acceptable en suite facilities, low price. Hard standing in front of the house, so some limited parking space available if you get there first (NB: reverse in - it's a v. bad spot to reverse back onto the road in the morning). Decent television and coffee/tea facilities.

Review 120:Could not get in touch with hotel beforehand. Window didn't lock. Wifi a bit temperamental at times. Noisy - thin walls. Room cold. No sugar provided and pretty terrible tea!

Review 121:Staff friendly and very helpful. Spacious, clean room. Large, comfortable bed. Large mirror with tea/coffee facilities. Free parking and wifi. Easy to find. Cute London-themed keyring on room key a nice touch.

Review 122:There was no room service, but that was ok with me. I just asked whereto place trash and was empting the bin myself.

Review 123:Location is very convenient - just 3 min to South Ealing Picadilly likestation. In case of line closure there is also Ealing Broadway about 15min on foot. Very close to Heathrow. Room was spacious and very clean. There was kettle and tea cups in the room. Bathroom was not very large, but quite comfortable. There was a good water pressure in the shower, even hot water was flowing ok. There is no breakfast included, but it isclearly stated and there is a small kitchen on a floor and Sainsburyalmost next door.

Review 124:Small bathroom, shower had to be hand held. No coffee or tea in the room with the cups and kettle, only milk.

Review 125:Nice size room, clean, comfortable, close to tube and parking. Staff very helpful

Review 126:We arrived at about 9 am n had to wait about 15 min outside ringing n knocking till we were taken in.

Review 127:The place. It was very near to a tube station on Picadilly Line. A good room for a traveller who comes to London and need a quiet cozy place to have a night.

Review 128:Rooms we got was so samll No proper lighting The bathroom was so smalland the ceiling was so low, I had to duck and take a shower (I am asian5 ft 7 ish )... the water heater was dirty.

Review 129:Located near a tesco express Very near the Metro and right opposite to abus stand towards Ealing Broadway.
