Review 1：They used plastic under-sheets in bed. Very warm.
Review 2：Location close to the beach is perfect, though Blonville is more boring than Villers- sur-mer. Calm and nice place. Friendly.

Review 5：The hotel was right across the road from the beach and was located on the main coastal road linking to Deauville and Honfleur and back towards Cabourg and the ferry terminal for Caen. Off street parking was available and the staff were friendly and helpful. Even though on the main street the room was quiet.
Review 6：We went with a group, and while I had a room with a shower, my friendsonly had a bathtub. I know that's somewhat common for Europeanhotels, but is still a little inconvenient.
Review 7：Great location, and the rooms were perfect. There is not much I couldsay wrong about this hotel. Even though they had good parking, we likedwalking into town for food, and we had no problems or issues withsleeping. The staff is extremely nice, and were kind and patient with myhorrible french!
Review 8：Went over to France for a last minute weekend trip on the motorbike, booked the night before arrival, staff were great, and even let me put bike in the garage! Literally 2 second walk from beach, and close to le harve for ferrys.

Review 11：There was no bar, apparently no longer able to sell alcohol. This is a shame as I like my nightcap but there are a couple of bars in town.

Review 27：The Hotel De La Mer in Blonville-sur-Mer in Normandy on the channel near Deauville was outstanding. Our room was very comfortable and had a view of the channel. The location was ideal for exploring different sites in Normandy. We also were impressed with how happy families were in the hotel and with the different activities available in the area. The staff of the hotel was excellent.

Review 35：This is a beautiful little hotel well run by the owners in a fantastic location.. Very clean and comfortable and free parking at the rear. Excellent spot to visit all the sites of Normandy. The staff speak very good English and were tourist guides as well advising us of all the areas to visit. Very Very Good. with a view of the beach from our room. Breakfast was standard but good. There is an ATM nearby as well as several places to eat. Many of the houses nearby are built on the German fortifications and are in tact.
Review 36：Very nice small hotel, very romantic with a oldstil, but in shape andgood sanitary equipment, good beds and great view to the sea. And allnight the slipping sound of waves in the nearby bay. Very nice breakfastservice. Nearby beach for swimming and sunshine.
Review 37：No hairdryer in room, had to ask in reception. The hotel is on the main road with some traffic, but with windows closed not much noise. One of our rooms was a little damp (no 14) but not the other room.
