Reviews for Hotel Aegina
Review 1:Our room was overlooking a noisy main street into town
Review 2:The Hotel is convenient to the town, which has some excellent restaurants close to the fish market,
Review 3:WiFi wasn't great. Had to be reset but they did it whenever you asked. Bed was a bit old.
Review 4:Location was very near town and quiet at night. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Small shop next door was handy.
Review 5:The room was very small, tricky where to place two suitcases. Small and low plastic stools on the balcony, the wi-fi didn´t work very well. The water from the air conditioning was dripping all over the balcony resulting in a wet floor
Review 6:Small hotel in a nice location in a quiet residential area, 5 minutes walk from the harbour
Review 7:The internet connection was not available in all of the room area. There were also many interruptions with the connection. Daily maid service moves personal things while cleaning.
Review 8:Staff really nice and helpful. Cosy, small but comfortable and clean room with beautiful view of the port. Good location, close to many restaurants and beach.
Review 9:It has very good location - almost in the centre but very calm, in a quiet street. And very close to the beaches and historical monuments as well as to the harbor
Review 10:Location, cleanliness but most of all staff! Sofia, Anthi , Vagilis and cleaning ladies ( sorry but I don't know their names), are great! Thank you for our nice stay in Aegina hotel!
Review 11:Small terrace, poor wifi (strong signal but internet connection is available just few hours a day)
Review 12:Great location, very nice interior design, pleasant stuff, clean and comfortable room, nice view, good but little bit noisy air conditioning
Review 13:The shower curtain didn't close properly and the shower itself was difficult to handle, meaning that the bathroom often turned into a 'swimming pool'! Also, the shower gel and shampoo were disappointing, even by hotel standards.
Review 14:The location is excellent if you're looking for something close to the port and the beach. The reception hall was a nice place to sit and relax, and staff were friendly and helpful. The room was large and pretty, and breakfast was typical, but nice.
Review 15:All good. We opted for the double comfort room and it was worth it.
Review 16:Located a short distance from the port, this is a friendly hotel with comfortable rooms and friendly staff
Review 17:The bathroom could've been a little cleaner. The breakfast isn't worth paying extra for as there is not much choice, but it is a handy option if you're in a rush in the morning.
Review 18:The staff were very friendly and hospitable. The bedroom had plenty of space, good air-conditioning and was well furnished. The hotel was in a great location, only 5 mins walk from the main street in Aegina, and the main port.
Review 19:1. The signal of wi-fi is very-very weak. In most of the time it doesn't work (this issue should be fixed) 2. The room is not so large
Review 20:1. Amazing sea view (if you have a room with balcony at the second floor (not at the ground floor)) 2. The balcony 3. The location (is very near to the beach) 4. The lobby of the hotel (in the morning, during the breakfast, it is very pleasant) 5. The staff is young and very nice and is very attentive to your desires
Review 21:I had a room without balcony and just windows quite high up without a view. For my 3 days stay this was no problem, for a longer stay I would try to find a place with a better view and with a balcony.
Review 22:welcoming and bright reception area, friendly and helpful staff, good position for exploring Aegina town.
Review 23:Room was on ground floor close to reception so all comings and goings were audible. Small window, no balcony.
Review 24:Staff very helpful, pleasant and approachable. Room basic but spotlessly clean- had everything I needed for my 2 night stay.
Review 25:Nothing. Everything was more than satisfactory.
Review 26:The friendly staff. The warm welcome. The Greekness of the experience of staying there. The handy proximity to all attractions (beach, museum, restaurants, shops). The ability to leave luggage at the hotel after check-out.
Review 27:Just be aware of mosquitoes at night
Review 28:Nice location in Aegina Town with easy access to the town centre, the archeological site and the port. Lovely welcome and nice room. Breakfast was good, too. We would stay again
Review 29:The hotel is perfect located a little bit uphill in the city but still very near all the action. Great seaview from the balcony and exiting back yards with fantastic small gardens to let your eyes rest on. The staff is very helpful and always happy.
Review 30:Didn't have a shower curtain which we found a bit strange but they class it as a wet room instead - need to be careful where you put your clothes and very careful as the floor gets wet.
Review 31:Very clean, bright and friendly
Review 32:Nothing, it was all good.
Review 33:The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room is comfortable and clean. This is a basic hotel, but for the money it is great value. I didn't have breakfast here which is why I didn't rate it. Lovely view of the sea.
Review 34:- wifi doesn't work at last day our trip (no connection)
Review 35:- good location - picturesque view - very clean room and bathroom - beach, shops and taverns are very near - rather good wi-fi connection - nice staff
Review 36:Excellent staff, very clean hotel, nice and cozy, very good breakfast, definitely deserves more stars than it is, the couple that owns it has been doing a great job and they continue to make it even more great! we didn't want to leave
Review 37:the hotel is actually about 150 meters away from the mark on the booking map - when reached Str.Dim.Petriti/Aristofanous intersection, follow the Str.Dim.Petriti road to the north, the hotel is on the left side of the street next to a mini market.
Review 38:Pretty much everything :) friendly and helpful staff, location - you can reach the port of Aegina with plenty of restaurants and a few beaches in 5min on foot. There is a mini market next to the hotel. Everything was clean. Breakfast offered for 5eur.
Review 39:The room was comfortable and well furnished. Very clean, as well as the bed linen. The staff was polite and helpful. The location is ideal, because although it's in the centre it's quite and has a nice view!
Review 40:Instead of the old fashioned tube television a more up to date TV model would have been nice.
Review 41:Everything you need (shops, main town, beach...) is at a walking distance. Warm, welcome and helpful owners at this charming hotel. All in all a great stay!
Review 42:The occasional sound of scouters in the middle of the night might upset you, but otherwise it is quite quiet. Also, there are a few stairs that you might have to use in order to access the room. If you have mobility problems, that might be a slight disturbance
Review 43:The staff was extremely helpful and was eager to help with every request we might have. The hotel is located very close to the town centre and has everything you might expect from a value for money hotel.
