Reviews for Premier Inn London Kew Bridge

Review 1:Rooms at the front of the hotel could experience some noise from passing cars

Review 2:Nice hotel in Brentford, near Griffin Park and some pubs. Kind and helpful personnel, clean rooms and a good breakfast

Review 3:carpet in the room not cleaned, next time need to get flip floppes

Review 4:bathroom was very clean, quite happy with it, person at fort desk quite helpful when checked in.

Review 5:Everything is beautiful in this hotel, and clean rooms and reception staff treated more than wonderful Green will each year at Christmas in this wonderful hotel Thank you to all those working in this hotel maha hamed

Review 6:Reception not always manned. It would have been nice to have had a little more tea and milk provided. Towels were replaced each day, even though we hung them up as instructed to save washing and therefore energy.

Review 7:Standard of the room. Bathroom great. General cleanliness.

Review 8:I'd say the only 3 negatives about our stay was: the room was very, very stuffy and warm. We had to open our window PLUS put the fan on both nights. The cleaning staff never cleaned our room or gave us fresh towels. when we asked the guy at reception about this when we came back from being out all day, he just said that there were a lot of families staying in the hotel and the cleaners probably just forgot. i'm sorry but that's not good enough. He was very apologetic though and he left fresh towels in our room. Although we still had the pile of dirty ones on the bathroom floor and it would have been nice to have our bed changed and a clean sheet. The breakfast is great but the sausages and rashers were WELL overdone.

Review 9:This was our 2nd time staying here. We were going to Christmas at Kew this year with another couple and a toddler so the hotel is in a perfect spot for this. You can also easily get buses to other parts of london only down the road. The hotel itself is very clean, very comfortable and the breakfast is great.

Review 10:As this hotel has no A/C (which in itself is not such a bad thing) we kept the window open for ventilation, and the noise of planes landing at Heathrow (nearby) is quite disturbing at times.

Review 11:Staff are extremely helpful.

Review 12:Friendly staff, really good food for the buffet breakfast, comfy bed, clean room, great location not far from the M4 so you don't need to travel right into the city, has parking for our car which is a necessity when you have a young child travelling with you. Have stayed several times this year visiting friends, we will be back again next year.

Review 13:The staff were so helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfasts were excellent and so much choice. The bed was very comfortable and the room was warm and cosy. Will definitely stay here again. We usually stay with another chain hotel, but Premier Inn has won us over.

Review 14:There was a party of 12 of us for dinner the waiter started to take the food order before we all sat down. Then another waiter came along took a drink order for half the table then didn't bother with the other half even though we were all sat together. One meal came out 10min after rest as waiter forgot to order it.

Review 15:Rooms very clean and comfortable. Good parking facilities.

Review 16:A little bit off the beaten track regarding public transport. Plenty of buses but train station is a good 10 minute walk and no tube station in close proximity.

Review 17:Clean, friendly hotel with parking.

Review 18:Breakfast is too expensive . Especially if you just want egg on toast.

Review 19:I think that the hotel is great value for a quick overnight stay . clean and comfortable.

Review 20:Poor sound insullation (right under flight path to Heathrow). Poor service in restaurant at night. Lack of car parking spaces. Not enough staorage for a 4 night stay.

Review 21:Friendly helpful staff. Good breakfast and good service at breakfast.

Review 22:Further from Kew Bridge station than expected. Food in restaurant in evenings mediocre. Cooked breakfast didn;t look appetising.

Review 23:Clean, on bus route, staff helpful. Good continental breakfast.. Refurbished bedrooms, nice bathrooms.

Review 24:Car parking was limited although I had been reassured that there was adequate parking .

Review 25:The friendly and helpful staff for whom nothing was too much trouble. Excellent breakfast with great choice.

Review 26:Automatic check took a long time to go through all the info required and the rooms were very hot, all the heating was off but the room was still hot.

Review 27:Staff were excellent

Review 28:Air conditioning wasn`t working so we had to have a fan in our room, which was stifling and hard to sleep . Some of the staff were miserable . Couldn`t sit outside as patio canopy was broke (it was raining )

Review 29:Location is near river and public transport, about half a mile from Kew station and about a mile from Kew Gardens. Parking is good

Review 30:Room very warm fans provided but still too warm

Review 31:Helpful staff who advised on bus service ,taxi service ,underground services and how to find places. Slightly further to Kew Gardens than we expected. But not a problem.

Review 32:Price increase for the international weekend.

Review 33:Friendly helpful staff. Good size and comfortable room. Walking distance (3miles) from Twickenham stadium - ideal for the rugby World Cup!

Review 34:Because we booked in early - only the road side rooms were ready. So, we shouldn't complain - and we aren't complaining - albeit we had a poor nights sleep because of road noise (choice of 2 fans or opening the window to cool the room).

Review 35:This is as I find all Premier Inns - consistently comfortable - and well run. Easy parking. We booked in early - which was much appreciated.

Review 36:had to keep window open because it was too hot resulting in traffic noise, my previous request for rooms on upper floor wasn't fulfilled but hotel was fully booked so maybe this was reason although i booked well in advance

Review 37:convenience, reception helpful when i contacted them re item left in room, agreed to post to me. breakfast

Review 38:On a busy road so a fair amount of traffic noise throughout the night - however, although this meant I got less sleep than I wanted, the bed was so comfortable I still felt more refreshed than usual the next day!

Review 39:Comfortable bed, friendly staff, far enough from the tube to be less hectic than other hotels, but close enough to bus and rail links that it's still easy to get around (and still not that far from the Undergound, either). Close to Kew Gardens, Musical Museum and a couple of other museums, and almost opposite a little parade of shops.

Review 40:Windows overlooking main busy street, thus very noisy. Plus could hear people walking nearby steps or in above rooms. Limited car park with maybe 15 places otherwise parking in nearby public carpark for free till 8am.

Review 41:Spacious and clean room, lcd tv and good location next to supermarkets and the river. Pretty good price for parking if you manage finding a place.

Review 42:not so much a bad experience just the bed duvet was very hot, so was the room - could have done with air con for air

Review 43:the staff although a bit thin on the ground were excellent. nothing too much trouble. the breakfast was plentiful, and there was a good choice of cold or hot food

Review 44:No tissues or phone in room. Drawers/cupboard would be useful Daily price variation very irrating

Review 45:Very helpful staff, good food, very comfortable

Review 46:The rooms on the third floor were too hot we had a couple of standing fans but the noise of them kept us awake all night

Review 47:Location we could walk to work

Review 48:The bath was very shallow which was disappointing. A fridge would have been nice.

Review 49:Very very clean. Shining chrome in the bathroom and not a thing out of place. Very nice man on reception.

Review 50:Evening meal was, at best, very average (the rest of the family said poor) but also very expensive.

Review 51:Everything you have become expectant from a premier inn. Good, comfortable and value

Review 52:Room was stifling hot. There were 2 fans & we had both of them going most of the time, plus window open. Breakfast should be included in price of room.

Review 53:Pleasant, clean room, good location. Breakfast had good choices, though pricey. Close to Kew & Heathrow.

Review 54:It was a bit warm for my liking, but it was summer and there were TWO(!) fans for us to use in the room. Everything else was great

Review 55:The beds were very comfortable. We stayed on a Sunday, arrived a little early there was no lunch served in the restaurant but they were welcoming and made several suggestions including getting sandwiches locally then eating in the bar, which we did. Very helpful staff.

Review 56:the heat in corridor and rooms needs air con upstairs

Review 57:the rooms ,the staff.the cleanliness ththee breakfast the location excellent the fans in rooms was a very good idea much appreciated in the hot months.

Review 58:The room was so hot no air conditioning - I had a terrible experience in the room could not sleep at all how can you let rooms with no air conditioning when it is boiling hot ?

Review 59:The Staff were great and gave me a full refund on my dreadful experience

Review 60:The rooms had no air conditioning and the rooms were far too hot to be comfortable in let alone sleep!! Each room had two plug in fans which only served to circulate hot air. Complaints regarding same fell on deaf ears even thou premier Inn state that a good nights sleep is guaranteed or money back. We were informed by staff that the hotel was seeking planning permission to add air con. So obviously this is an ongoing issue and people should have been notified before check--in

Review 61:Did not enjoy our stay

Review 62:The room was a great size along with the bathroom. The location was great for what we needed. Staff where all friendly and helped with the self service check in.

Review 63:No aircon, no fridge in room, aircraft noise, no phones in rooms! We were there for a wedding...most guest stayed in your Inn could not communicate as We had Australian mobiles and a call to a room from each mobile was an international call! Not happy at all!..would never stay again and would not recommend! Good beds though but there's more to ones stay than a good bed!

Review 64:Good bed!

Review 65:Very helpful and friendly staff. We appreciated the provision of a sheet to use instead of the duvet as it was so hot. Fans were also there to use if needed.

Review 66:The rooms need air conditioning, the windows only open 3cm.

Review 67:The staff were most helpful and the iced water at reception was a nice touch on such a hot day.

Review 68:We had a low corner room as it was hot we had the windows open, unfortunatly the smokers congregated there and our room was filled with smoke. The hotel were very good and refunded our stay. This should not be a problem going forward as i believe airconditioning is being fitted. If you have a car, get there early to get premier inn parking space under the hotel. If not take plenty of change to pay for other spaces, the machine only takes coins.

Review 69:The room was very well appointed and a good size

Review 70:Not your fault but our room was right by a crossing and the 'bleeper' was going off continually from 05:30am whether someone was crossing or not

Review 71:Brilliant staff

Review 72:No air con in bedroom so hard to get a good night's sleep

Review 73:Staff were brilliant in hotel and restaurant. We were refunded the cost of the room due to lack of air con. Decor very good throughout. Lovely restaurant with good menu - not what we would have expected at a Premier Inn. Bedroom spacious and bathroom spotless. All had been recently refurbished. Carpark across road was free overnight and on the Sunday morning.

Review 74:Poor night shift staff insisted on me paying for car park space prior to going to bed. Was very abrupt and direct. Vending machine did not work. Had to walk back to reception 3 times to get key and eventually had to be let in by staff member.

Review 75:Comfy and clean.

Review 76:We checked in went to our room ,no air cond. ,one window level with a roofline that was hotter than hell , room was in the 90's plus , never told about this . The girl at the desk at least found Us a room at the Brentford Premier Inn , which was of the modern world .

Review 77:Not a thing !

Review 78:The staff were very friendly and helpful, and made us feel very welcome. The room was very clean and the bed really comfy. The food was good and very reasonably priced for London. The hotel is well situated for easy access to central London, Heathrow and major tourist attractions. Kew Gardens is a 10 minute bus ride away.

Review 79:I was there in Summer and it was somewhat warm inside the room. I wish we had AC on such warm days.

Review 80:staff was very friendly. Bus stop is nearby and kew Bridge station of National rail and Gunnersbury station for Tube is within few minutes of bus ride.

Review 81:The bar was understaffed and the barman appeared to be struggling to serve and change barrels etc. the buffet breakfast for one set price may suit some but not all. All I really wanted was a bowl of porridge, for which I would have had to pay for a continental breakfast at £7-ish.

Review 82:The hotel was gfeat and the staff were really friendly and helpful.

Review 83:The heat in the corridors and rooms, a simple solution would be ceiling rotating fans

Review 84:Except room, the only fault being that it was humid, Air con or a window that oped fully would have been great and given you top score.

Review 85:Would have been useful to have a fridge in the room, especially as we had a small child with us still drinking formula, also access to a microwave to heat his food would be useful.

Review 86:The staff were very helpful, the facilities were spotless and the parking really useful for such a location (although it was bit of luck we managed to secure the only available parking space in the carpark)

Review 87:Room 112 was excessively hot as i think were most of the rooms we had two fans in the room but they just moved hot air around the room it was very uncomfortable, however we did get our money back for one of the nights. This hotel needs air conditioning and it would be perfect

Review 88:Location was great, staff could,nt have been more helpful.

Review 89:Food wasn't served lunch time, there was nothing around that was open. They only opened for breakfast and evening, which was disappointing

Review 90:Staff helped give us with directions to Wembley. They printed 3 different routes and went through each one with us. Which saved us so much time

Review 91:Not enough tea bags in room. Only 2!!! Couldn't have a cup of tea before bed and another one first thing in the morning.

Review 92:Room was clean, beds very comfy, breakfast excellent, staff friendly and helpful. Very pleasant overnight stay.

Review 93:No air con! Although the hotel does recognise this & are soon to have it installed.

Review 94:Hotel staff were very helpful, especially so when dealing with a number of complaints of poor sleep due to exceptional heat & lack of air con.

Review 95:The heat in our room and corridors. Totally stifling. Unable to sleep as a result of this.

Review 96:The room was great, very clean, bed lovely, bathroom pristine.

Review 97:When we checked in the receptionist was helpful helping us get a room earlier in the day. The man on evening shift was very unhelpful is manner was abrupt and would not give us key until we paid for parking. We were very tired and felt we were purposely being kept at reception. Parking was only £7.50, we wasn't going to run off without paying!!!Also key to room did not work. I went back downstairs was told it would now be ok. Still did not work. 3 times up and downstairs before I got my room. Vending machine broken.

Review 98:Clean room

Review 99:Ideal position (we went to Kew Gardens), excellent facilities, good food and friendly and helpful staff. Also well placed for access into London if required, and easy to find from M25

Review 100:When we complained about a very long wait for dinner on our second evening, the person who appeared to be the restaurant manager handled the situation appallingly!

Review 101:Good size room, very clean and comfortable

Review 102:Not related to hotel but buses don't take cash!!!

Review 103:Location is perfect for Twickenham and all surrounding places. Would be a good base for exploring London as long as you don't mind train journeys but I think that's part of discovering it.

Review 104:The disabled room we booked for my father had a bath and not a shower

Review 105:Staff did everything they could to help our large family enjoy our visit for a family wedding at s nearby venue

Review 106:First night was not so good ,noise in hotel disturbed sleep .Manager immediately apologised , changed room and refunded nights cost . Couldn't have done any more .Most impressed .

Review 107:Staff were polite and helpful at all times . Hotel was well placed for our visit , both to Kew Gardens and Central London .

Review 108:Breakfast was a little disappointing, mainly because the hotel was very busy, probably due to the rugby final so there was a wait for some of the breakfast items.

Review 109:You always know what you're going to get with Premier inn. Always good quality and clean with good facilities.

Review 110:Dinner in the restaurant, too busy, too noisy and too long a wait for food, because of a large group, should have been told upfront how long the wait would be

Review 111:Location, staff friendliness and helpfulness

Review 112:Poor ventilation in room and car park was difficult to access with very limited space.

Review 113:Lovely breakfasts with attentive staff on hand. Reception staff always pleasant

Review 114:some days the room cleaning wasn't totally efficient.

Review 115:I liked that the building is fairly new. Nice design and the professional, clean looks made it feel very pleasant. The staff is very nice, always there to help.

Review 116:The staff were very welcoming and attentive. The bathroom was immaculate and had a clean modern look. The bedroom was large with a comfortable bed. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice and reasonably priced.

Review 117:There is no air conditioning so the room was too warm - 26 deg at night.

Review 118:Staff very friendly and helpful. We had breakfast every day and two dinners. We were impressed with the quality of all the meals. Room was clean and comfy.

Review 119:There was nothing that I didn't like about my stay

Review 120:The staff at this premier inn are fantastic, so friendly and helpful at all times...greet you with a smile 10 out of 10

Review 121:Nothing really bad, I should have asked for a lighter quilt as we were too hot.

Review 122:Great location for Kew Gardens and Richmond. Bus direct to Richmond and Kew from nearby. Kew 20min walk.

Review 123:We had two children's beds, one had a proper mattress and was good, the other was a camp bed and hard as nails. Luckily we have experienced this before and used an airbed we took along instead. They did not have a replacement mattress or topper and the extra duvet didn't soften up the camp bed enough. Our children 8 and 10 rejected the bed and remembered how hard they were from last time (one night 7 months ago) and what discomfort they were in, in the morning. Didn't like naked man in corridor trying to get into his room although it did make us laugh at 3am, and continues to do so. He was trying so hard not to be naked :)

Review 124:Spacious room, hot shower, clean, bedding. No road noise. The new adult hypnos bed is not as hard as the last Premier Inn bed we tried. I would not call it soft and comfortable but we are fussy about beds, we do not like firm beds. The mattress was OK in my opinion, whilst it would not draw me in, it would not stop me booking again at the reasonable price they offer.

Review 125:No negatives really. OK, Lenny Henry didn't show up.

Review 126:Staff: all I met were friendly, helpful and cheerful. Cleanliness. The quiet: the glazing in this recently refurbished hotel admits no indication that there's a roadway outside.

Review 127:Failed to get promised good nights sleep as room was like a sauna throughout the stay reported to staff at reception seems like an ongoing problem that really needs to be resolved soon as looking to stay next year

Review 128:Convenient for twickenham . staff very helpful and pleasant

Review 129:Wall thin so could hear people and snoring from next room. This was in a quiet zone as well. Hotel refunded under the good Night sleep policy. No air con

Review 130:Staff were all pleasant, helpful and friendly regardless of their role. Everyone was lovely, and spoke to you like human beings!! Nothing too much trouble for anyone. A very efficiently run hotel with spotlessly clean rooms. Well done!! A pleasure to stay here.

Review 131:Nothing bad, but I was irritated at times by the frequency with which we were interrupted by a member of staff asking whether we were enjoying our meal!

Review 132:Clean, comfortable, good bedroom.

Review 133:Room exceptionally hot even though no heating on. Our stay was not helped by drunken inconsiderate rugby fans who crashed up and down the corridor in the early hours one morning, although I appreciate this is NOT the fault of the staff.

Review 134:Friendliness of staff.

Review 135:bedroom very hot, staff offered a a fan to cool the room.

Review 136:friendly staff good food well prepared,in a pleasant room. on a good bus route to the railstation.

Review 137:Being woken up by someone wanting to clean our room at 9.00 on a Sunday after a late night on Saturday didn't go down too well!

Review 138:Clean, comfortable, friendly staff, good breakfast.

Review 139:All the staff were trained to ask if you had a good day etc and if you have been to Premier Inn before. After the 3rd day this gets annoying and loses any personal touch it is intended to create.

Review 140:Location was great for me but a fair walk to the tube.
