Review 2：Hailey and Barry made us feel really welcome. Offering us a pot of tea and coffee when we arrived. Room was very comfortable and had a good view. Good choice of breakfast which was beautifully cooked. Lovely building, good location. 5 minutes walk from the sea front and the same to Torquay train station. We stayed over the New Year and were invited to join our fabulous hosts to see in the New Year which we accepted. Nothing was to much trouble for them during our 3 night stay.

Review 8：The hotel room was spacious & very comfortable; the HUGE bed was amazing & I had a fantastic couple of night sleep. The owners were very welcoming & friendly. The breakfast was excellent (a vegetarian sausage would have made it complete; but all of our food was cooked separately from the meat produce). It was an amazing break over a bank holiday. The location was near enough to the beach & town for us to walk and experience the sights & restaurants.
Review 9：Everything was what we thought was 5*****. Able to park, close to bus routes, both local and long distance. The hotel was spotless, the food brilliant and the service from the owners and staff always came with a smile.
Review 10：Couldn't pick up wifi in our room (only downstairs), lack of parking spaces and breakfast is only served between 8.15-9am which is rather early for a weekend away.

Review 17：We had two days at the Burberry and could not fault it. Excellent service, very clean and we were made to feel very welcome. Will be returning and have recommended it to friends.
Review 18：Arrived at 19 .20 on the first evening after a 6 hour journey to find restaurant closed. Booked this hotel so I could have dinner in house so this was a very big blow. Breakfast starts at 8.15 - so I couldn't have breakfast on either of my days as I had business commitments much earlier than this. So I am sure breakfast would have been good - just so very very late. They helped me with a few quick bits and pieces to get me by. Dinner not available second night either - they had closed the restaurant. It seems a lovely guesthouse but not for business folk.

Review 21：We had a small double room with on-sweat. The furniture, décor and carpets in the room were well past their best. The on-sweat had a missing rod from the window blind and a few other small defects that made the suggestion it was ‘5 star’ rated not possible to believe. It had a television in the room which again was very old and about 12” (The square box type) In short, it was OK if you were expecting a 3 star but a long way short of the near perfection you would expect from a 5 star rating
