Review 1：Shower room was perhaps a little dated, but it was clean and worked well, and given the price I wouldn't have expected more. (Trying to think of something I didn't like, am an struggling).
Review 2：Great location in town. They phoned us on the morning of arrival to confirm access arrangements as it was low season. Simple straight forward hotel, very good value for money. Comfy bed with crispy clean sheets.
Review 3：The reception is often not manned and entry is by key code at the front door. This did not worry us, as we have stayed before, know the area and were self sufficient. If you want to have a drink in the hotel this may not be possible. There are no tea or coffee making facilities in the room, as is often the case in France Don't forget tho that it is only 10 yards to the nearest bar, brasserie, cafe etc and there is a phone number to ring should you need anything else.
Review 4：Location perfect for strolling to all the town's facilities and easy access to main car park and main roads to Megeve, Chamonix, Geneva etc. The hotel is clean and basic with a couple of upgraded rooms. Our room was very small but had drawers and hanging space so no need to live out of the suitcase. It had a rather sweet balcony which overlooked the the high street and gave a bit more space. Sandrine was very helpful.
Review 5：I would like to have a plug for a mobile phone charger next to the bedside table. It is not a big thing , but it did irk me a little.
Review 6：The location and the friendliness of the staff was the best. Also , the terrace has a good view. Comfortable (if a little worn out) room.
Review 7：1. The staff called on the day of arrival and requested "credit card details (incl. security codes)" to secure the booking, saying that we didn't leave the data with booking.com (which is false, as I checked my confirmation email later again and it was clearly stated that my credit card has been facilitated to guarantee the booking). I refused to give out the security codes on phone due to card safety and was responded very rudely by the staff. I finally told her she can just cancel the booking if she preferred, then the attitude suddenly changed and she even said that she would wait for us in case of any problem (which is again lie, no one was there when we arrived, although we don't really care as we used the pass code provided to get the key). 2. The hotel is facing the main square of the town, which means lots of noise on weekend night (open air concert, people partying around). Closing the windows solved the problem but the room is hot. 3. Wifi does not reach top floor.

Review 14：I was upgraded at no cost (without even asking) to a room with a balcony overlooking the town square. The staff were very helpful. Breakfast plain but good. Room very clean and nicely decorated with a very good en suite bathroom.
Review 15：We had such a warm welcome from the owners who left a key for us for our late arrival, upgraded our room to a balcony for free when we mentioned it was our honeymoon, and then helped us call our next hotel in the South and speak to them in French when we decided we wanted to stay longer. This is how small businesses should operate! They even spent time troubleshooting which roads to take to get down to Nice on the computer! I couldn't give them a better review! :)
