Review 1：The rooms are beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was very good. Above all, Jill and Warren are so friendly and nothing is too much trouble. I was greeted on my arrival with coffee and home made cake.

Review 7：Everything! Jill and Warren were the perfect hosts from start to finish! From the minute we arrived, we felt at home and the cake and fresh tea were more than welcome after a long drive. Warren helped us find the way towards Dartmoor National Park and suggested a lovely route in the moors and Jill served up an amazing breakfast every morning always with a smile :-)! (compliments to the chef too!) Kingston House is impeccable and deserving of the 5* rating - our room was immaculate and had everything we needed. You will not be disappointed if you book here!

Warren & Jill are fantastic, making us feel so much at home, even to the point of arranging a birthday surprise for my husband at the local restaurant we had booked for our evening meal. It was absolutely perfect! We're already planning a further visit in the new year! Can't wait!!

Review 40：Parking, which is at the front of the hotel, is very tight, especially if you have a big car, but we all managed to squeeze in and, in fairness, this is a problem shared by the majority of Torquay hotels and it certainly wouldn't deter us from staying there again.

The breakfast was very tasty, we both had the full english however there were lots of different options. This hotel is excellent value for money, we will not be looking anywhere else for our next visit to Torquay!

The facilities at Kingston House are great and the breakfast is high quality local fare. Our room was immaculately clean and there was a great selection of hot drinks on offer. Upon arrival, Warren sat us down with a cup of tea and a slice of homemade cake each and talked us through the local attractions which was really helpful. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Review 56：Everything but especially Jill and Warren's attitude and helpfulness. As New Zealand visitors on the road for a couple of months, we had washing that Jill insisted on sorting out for us, and for that helpful attitude alone, we hope others will book with them. They surely won't regret it.

Review 98：We stayed 3 night at Kingston House. To compare with other B&Bs we had during our trip we would mostly recommend this place. Jill and Warren do everthing for their guests. A very warm welcome with coffee and home made cake. They serve an amazing breakfast with local products. One morning we were in a hurry, Warren brought us to the bus station. Whenever we had a question they had the answer. Warren is a good navigator, he showed us every places on the map. Jill is an organzing talent. She´ll the restaurant for you even before you know that you´d like to go out for dinner :-). Kingston House is a 20-25 minute walk away from the torquay harbour with lots of bars and restaurants around. From Kingston House you need about 30 minutes by car to Dartmoor National Park with wild horses and a great area to walk. One day we made the "round robin" trip a daytrip by bus, boat, ferry and steam train. We can absolutely recommend this tour, especially for children, there is a lot to see. Take you time in Dartmouth, there are lots of individual shops around - a lovely place!
Review 99：The Kingston House is a first class guest house in the beautiful Torbay region. Jill and Warren are excellent hosts and can't do enough to help. From the moment we arrived, when we were treated to some lovely summery drinks and given heaps of advice of things to do in the local area, to the day we had to leave and were offered cake for our long journey home, we were made to feel like we were at home. The house itself is in a good location -- walking distance from the seafront, but not so close to the busy town centre to be disturbing -- with enough parking for everyone, even when all rooms are let, and just 5 minutes from Torre railway station. There are good bus links to the whole of the bay area from a few minutes walk up the road. We stayed in the fabulous ground floor room 1. Even though it's next to the lounge and close to the breakfast room there was absolutely no problem with noise. The room was immaculately presented, featuring a huge double bed with luxurious feather pillows and duvet, air conditioning and a lovely little en-suite toilet and shower. There was a box with a wide selection of teas and coffee (with fresh milk!) in the room. We were even greeted by a little box of local chocolates on arrival. There's so much to do in the local area we couldn't possibly have done it all in the long weekend we stayed so we will certainly be returning, and there is no doubt we will stay at Kingston House when we do!
