Reviews for Klonos Anna
Review 1:Beds were a bit hard, though it wasn't anything too bad. Bathrooms are definitely meant for one person to use at a time, as they are fairly narrow. Again, not a dealbreaker.
Review 2:VERY friendly and accommodating staff, clean rooms, nice views. We stayed in rooms in both the 1st and 2nd floors (we added two days to our booking and needed to switch rooms) and both were nice. Water pressure in the shower was fantastic and felt very good at the end of a hot day. The main town and several beach areas were nearby, as well as the Temple of Apollo. Overall, a very pleasant experience. It isn't a luxury resort, but if you're looking for a clean place to stay without spending too much, you're at the right place.
Review 3:The bathroom door was difficult to open... probably needs the attention of a handy man.
Review 4:The staff were fantastic as was the pool. Future guests should note that the pool is shared with the Klonos Hotel and the loungers for Klonos Anna are those on the right. This was a family run hotel and they could not have been nicer- they answered any questions that we had and were always very friendly.
Review 5:Bed was a little hard and no coffee facilities in the rooms.
Review 6:Friendly, clean and well located with an amazing sea view - upgrade to a sea view it's worth it.
Review 7:Bright and attractive hotel. A lovely family who were warm And welcoming. The best bathroom in two weeks travelling in Greece. A spacious room with space to move around. Spotlessly clean and attractive surroundings.
Review 8:There are no tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms however the staff were more than willing to provide tea or coffee as a room service facility
Review 9:The hotel is a family run business which offers a helpful and friendly atmosphere. The rooms and balconies are spacious with plenty of storage on offer with TV/Fridge/Air con and stunning sea views!!! Great value for money even when travelling out of season...
Review 10:We were charged €39 for 2 cups of milk for two nights and a teapot of tea (x2) as there were not tea making facilities in the room. The breakfast was supposedly included but they still charged us €14 for the breakfast of a 4 yearl old kid. The beds were very uncomfortable with old matress and the blankets old and heavy.
Review 11:The location but was not as good as I thought.
Review 12:No drinks-making facilities in room (though common practice in many continental hotels) No lift but staff carry all luggage but this could still be a problem for people with mobility problems when ground-floor room choice is limited
Review 13:Helpful and friendly staff Clean and tidy throughout Just far enough away from the town for peace and accessibility Nice sized hotel Everything worked Nice pool Fair price
Review 14:Nothing - it suited us perfectly.
Review 15:Quiet location overlooking the sea, within walking distance (10 min?) of the quaint town of Egina. Friendly, helpful staff (family-run) and good value for money. It's easy to do a day trip to Athens from here, rather than staying in the city.
Review 16:Mattresses in rooms seemed old and were uncomfortable.
Review 17:Most excellent place to stay for a relaxing vacation. Absolutelybeautiful sunsets and views from balconies. Wonderful pool and goodbreakfasts. Staff can't be beat...so nice and helpful. Location iseasy walk from town (10 minutes up slight hill) which we did with twokids in strollers and big backpacks. We felt revived and refreshed after3 weeks of intense Europe travel and then 5 nights at this hotel. Wewould definitely come back!
Review 18:Air con a little bit temperamental in one of the rooms
Review 19:Nice staff/owners rooms basic, breakfast good, swimming pool and local beach good. Short walk into town - far enough away not to be too noisy but close enough to walk down for dinner. Snack menu in hotel until 1900 salad/omelette.
Review 20:Rooms and bathroom a little small but comparable with places which I have previously stayed at elsewhere in Greece.
Review 21:Staff were friendly, the location was good as too was the breakfast. Overall price was reasonable and good value for money. Also, seemed very clean which is most important,
Review 22:The hotel is traditionally decorated.Just a great taste of the island with kind and helpful people. The price was good and the service perfect. The center is only 10' far on foot.Great view from the rooms.Nature is calling you!

Review 41:poor sound proof quilt not so comfortable
Review 42:very nice view
Review 43:The sincerely friendly staff
Review 44:The staff were very friendly, the view from our room was wonderful, the rooms were comfortable and great value for money
Review 45:Bathroom is bit too small.
Review 46:Excellent location in peacuful part of island. View from the balcony is amazing. Very friendly owner.
Review 47:The bathroom was tiny, but not of huge importance.
Review 48:The description is accurate. The hotel was about 800m from the port, up a small hill, but very doable. To use the beach the best is to return to the port and there you can rent a sunbed. The pool at the hotel was big and clean, my children really enjoyed it. The breakfast was fine. The balcony and view was fabulous. The staff were very attentive and nice. The room was adequate and good value for money. I would definitely come back.
Review 49:Lost power for 45' during a morning thunderstorm (maybe the use of a generator as a backup plan would be nice).
Review 50:The staff was very pleasant and helpful Excellent breakfast Comfortable room with special needs bathroom (very helpful to my mom)
Review 51:Nothing to complain!
Review 52:Mrs. Anna, the owner, is a very nice lady. She answered all our questions, recommended good restaurants to eat. The view from the balcony is lovely - you can see the sunset! The cleaning was impeccable.
Review 53:It would have been nice if they had served snacks also after 7 p.m.
Review 54:The hotel is run by an extremely friendly and helpful family. Everyone really made us feel like home. One day my 2-year-old son refused to eat the food I had ordered so they even gave him some potatoes they had prepared for their own little Anna. My son also got to play with Anna's toys and we had some lovely chats with the staff. The pool area was nice and quiet. Sometimes we were the only ones there even though the hotel was fully-booked. The rooms were clean and tidy and there was a nice view from our balcony. Breakfast was versatile and well stocked even if we usually came at the last minute. The hotel was not far from the centre. It took about ten minutes to walk there or the taxi fare varied between 3,50 and 5 (euros).
Review 55:The pool being used for swimming lessons Monday-Wednesday-Friday for swimming lessons. These afternoons are too noisy if the customer is looking for a quiet afternoon by the pool. It is understandable though that the owners must make full use of a short season and take every opportunity to capitalise on any activity they can.
Review 56:The staff are welcoming and very friendly and they make every effort to make the customer feel welcome. We have stayed in several hotels in and around the Aegina that are not always the type of hotels one would wish to return to the Klonos Anna is of a standard much much higher that their competitors. The owners really make a good effort to maintain the hotel's standard - recommended.
Review 57:some places in Aegina from hotel to port had no sidewalk, and few lights. It was safe, just something to be aware of when walking to be alert for cars/scooters and especially carrying luggage or with children.
Review 58:Close but not in port, large clean rooms/bathrooms, nice balcony, great view, large breakfast selection. Friendly amazing owners/staff.
Review 59:not very close to centre of Aegina, pool area is shared with neighbouring hotel and "separation line" can lead to misunderstandings
Review 60:very clean, smooth and fast internet connection, nice pool area, friendly staff
Review 61:Everything! The staff was so nice, rooms overlooked the sea, buffet breakfast was great. The owner even allowed us to leave our baggage at the front desk until time for departure.
Review 62:Family run. Lovely family. Fun to have a go on the tennis court.Stunning sea view from balcony on front side of hotel. 10 minute walkfrom town which was good after a delicious Greek meal in town! :) veryvery clean!
Review 63:We were kept up at night by a gentleman talking late at night, the walls were thin.
Review 64:The owners were so nice and considerate of my gluten allergy, and they had the best breakfast!
