Review 1：The place was very dirty and cobwebs everywhere. The staff were rude knocking on my door early morning with card machine in hand asking me for money. It also had a really funny smell.
Review 2：We had no complaints at all - it was fine for two nights. Not enough facilities for a longer holiday.
Review 3：Both the staff we met were very friendly, helpful and accommodating. With the keys they gave us we could come and go freely and it was nice and warm and very quiet (perhaps there were no other guests). Of the five hotels we stayed in on our trip, this had the most comfortable bed.
Review 4：This is not a hotel - it's a B&B. No reception, key handed to me by whoever?? Asked to pay straight away even before I had seen the room. Breakfast was haphazard. Electric sockets were loose and wires from TV were hanging loose. Room was cold and smelled damp when first arrived and the shower had mould around it. Bath towels were hard. Certainly will not be booking when in the area again.

Review 6：The room was cramped, and the door on the wardrobe off its rails. There was spots of mould on the curtains and round a couple of the windows, and shower, which could have easily been removed. The window in the bathroom didn't open, and the fan in there was inadequate for the job. Although there was tea & coffee, which was ok, a couple of biscuits and an out of date bag of crisps was not so welcome. The overall cleanliness could have been better. It just needed that bit of extra care taking for this hotel to be quite good. However, the beds and bed linen was very clean and crisp. We didn't have the breakfast, as those little niggly things put us off.
Review 7：The owner was friendly, but said she didn't know we were coming. When I produced the booking reference, she found on her iPad and booked us in quickly. Luckily there was a room available. The beds were very comfortable.
Review 8：The TV reception was poor with a lot of screen interference, but fortunately the room had WiFi and I had a laptop. Not being able to have bacon for breakfast, I think it was a religious thing! Having to get down for breakfast by 8am - Far too early!
Review 9：The Hotel was very clean, warm and had good security plus a large car park. The lady who cooked the breakfast and serviced the room was most charming and helpful and a good cook.

Review 21：The cleaning/breakfast lady was apparently eager to go home as she kept asking me when I was leaving (the answer "when I'm ready" did not satisfy her) pretending finally at 10:30 that the checkout time was 10:00 (although the reservation said 12:00). The room was quite small but Ok.

Review 23：No sitting room just two chairs in foyer. After initial welcome and help with bags last we saw of any "Management", bill receipt pushed under door. Room well furnished but small and so very cramped.

My receipt was posted under my door one evening. I do not agree that this is a hotel more along the lines of a hostel.

We also had to wait untill breakfast time to ask for soap and shampoo. Full Englsh cooked breakfast was a bit mean compared to other places we have stayed at.

Review 68：This hotel is just a B&B. There are no staff to meet you when youarrive, just a key in a lock box. The room was tiny with no space orreal desk to work from. I paid extra for a double room as the otheroption was for a single bed. I got a cramped room with 2 tiny singlebeds, so feel quite cheated. The mattresses were of the cheapest qualityavailable and apart from having various springs sticking in me allnight, made awful noises everytime I moved. Apart from breakfast it wasa dreadful experience. The final straw was the bill. £75 but the hotelisn't vat registered which wasn't made obvious at the time ofbooking, so for a business, the room rate is equivalent to £90. I couldhave stayed at a decent hotel for that money. I rushed and booked thisvery last minute and learned the hard way what a mistake that is.

Review 70：The hotel was a bit of a mix with the bathroom being decorate to a verygood standard but the furniture and feel of the room itself was basic.Just a little bit not quite right. Breakfast was good but no bacon justa beef saussage. Maybe offer fish like kippers or smoked salmon etc.
