Reviews for Hotel San Pedro
Review 1:restuarant was not open and bookings.com should have made us aware of this fact prior to booking.
Review 2:great location, easy parking, dog friendly, helpful staff
Review 3:Finding it from St. Raphael. ThecReception welcome was poor. Breakfast rather like Butlins but probably great in the summer when you can take your tray outside.
Review 4:Space, free parking. The bathroom. Beautiful old Bastide.
Review 5:Jacuzzi could have been hotter, pool was not heated
Review 6:Patio, dinner at hotel, friendliness of staff, they had a sauna and massage room but we did not take advantage of them
Review 7:Unfortunately, the morning after I arrived, I had a very different experience trying to receive help (directions, advice, etc) from the morning desk manager. He was quite rude and continued to ignore me, even though I was the only one at the desk. After 5 attempts over the course of two hours, I finally was able to get a city map from him (along with an eye roll, and words in Italian about having to help me- he did not realize I spoke Italian), but still he was unwilling to give me further help after that. He simply walked back on this office and sat down. It was quite disappointing, especially since the rest of the hotel staff seemed to be very friendly. But he is a representative of the hotel and often, the reception sets the level of standard at a hotel.
Review 8:The hotel was wonderful, and a decent distance from the city, not too far, but just enough to be tranquil. The first concierge/front desk manager was delightful and very willing to help.
Review 9:Small and dark room, dirty floor. People in next room were heard very well due to doors between rooms. Tiny lift - not possible to fit baby stroller. Hotel needs renovation.
Review 10:Good food in restaurant, nice swimming pool, parking space.
Review 11:Wifi whilst ample 8 hubs it would not auto connect or allow multiple sign on so 2 phones and a notebook was an issue. Bar very dusty on the shelves
Review 12:Wonderful premises and staff were good although too few Jose wad a little stretched so patience wad required
Review 13:no shoehorn =/ seriously, the stay was great, only minor things which are not worth mentioning.
Review 14:Dinner menu was perfect Pool is great parking and room was perfect adjusted Extension of stay was easy
Review 15:The hotel seemed to be short staffed at times, especially during the dinner service which ruined the dining experience. The free WiFi didn't reach our room so we had to sit in the main living area to access the internet. The fridge in our room wasn't efficient so our drinks weren't cold. The hotel and grounds need to be cared for - many of the plants were dry and dying; lighting around the hotel and car park was inadequate. Lots of little details could be fixed and improve a visit to the hotel.
Review 16:The hotel is in a relaxed and quiet area 10 minutes drive from Frejus and Saint Raphael. It's a lovely grand old building, though it needs some care and attention. The food in the restaurant is good and there is an onsite bar. The rooms are cosy and cute; good sized en suite bathrooms with great water pressure and temperature control. There's a pool table though we didn't have time to use it. Plenty of car park spaces. The pool is also a good size for a quick dip though not for serious swimmers.
Review 17:Room very pure and minimal with an old "furniture" only 2 pcs..... In the bathroom we had water coming from the sealing... it just lasted for a few hours but when you arrive to your room it is not a nice scene to see. We've called the reception and when they've arrived to our room the answer was "well it is not falling down so much"... Dinner in the restaurant was good, but without any menu choice.... You had to eat the plates of the day.... This was a shame as the presentation and food was really good!
Review 18:From outside a very nice structure with a great swimming pool and in beautiful position just few minutes from the city.
Review 19:When we arrived the receptionist was not very nice, but the second recepitonist few hours later was very frienldy and gave us a warm welcome.
Review 20:A very relaxed place in the middle of croded Cote d'Azur in August. Breakfast in the small outside terrace, dinner by the pool... worthy a stay
Review 21:The only negative experience at breakfast, the lady serving was very rude pushing the guests aside while getting the food put on the food stands. Irrespective to pregnant women, seemed for her normal to push then simply to say sorry. Breakfast was so so, no mineral/natural water, only tap water available. No coffee/tea utilities in rooms, fridge available but empty, no other utilities than soaps.
Review 22:Almost everything. Beautiful grounds with pine trees, pétanque, pool, swimming pool, very nice welcoming into the hotel by the staff, quality inexpensive dinner (25 euro 3 course menu), 5 euro dog fee but charging every pet.. air conditioner working well
Review 23:Staff was mostly friendly and helpful. But at check out the concierge preferred to talk on the phone while we paid etc. and excused himself with "I'm so busy" before he disappeared. Not a nice last impression.
Review 24:Dinner and breakfast was great. The building incl. the pool area is pretty. Location is good, if you search for a quiet place.
Review 25:Room and bathroom were certainly not up to scratch. The promised terrace was basically public terrain with EVERYBODY looking into the room....it certainly is not what is promised on the web.
Review 26:Not much
Review 27:Smallest shower on the planet, you wear the shower curtain while you wash........but there's an extra shower over the bath so didn't matter
Review 28:Close to the golf clubs, breakfast, welcoming staff, pool area and ate well at the restaurant. Rooms clean and comfortable. Wifi worked well.
Review 29:No bar facilities in the evening.
Review 30:The hotel was rustic and charming, which made us choose San Pedro over the more Corporate hotels in the centre of St Raphael. There was a bus stop literally outside the hotel which took you into the town centre. San Pedro was immaculately clean and presentable with an appealing lounge/reception area. The pool area and garden was a lovely bonus. Plenty of parking. We have been coming to San Pedro for a number of years now and will return sometime in the not too distant future.
Review 31:Abit out of the road
Review 32:Nice building
Review 33:Very classy, quiet place. Helpful staff. Location a bit remote from the coast but absolutely worth the extra 5 minutes drive.
Review 34:Very bad WIFI!
Review 35:Nice swimming pool and awful WIFI. According to us the hotel is a bit overpriced.
Review 36:Nothing
Review 37:Sweetest hotel I've been. Everything was great!
Review 38:Everything was perfect
Review 39:Excellent hotel with a very friendly staff! Perfect location just outside center of Saint Raphäel in the beautiful country side
Review 40:Perfect location just outside Saint Raphäel...easy access and close to the town as well
Review 41:Fantastic location just outside Saint Raphäel in the beautiful countryside. Excellent staff and everything was just perfect.
Review 42:Wi Fi not certificated. Therefore not available to our mobile, phones, I pad or tablet Restaurant food good but poor selection
Review 43:location,good room
Review 44:Not enough visable staff to be able to order things reception you had to wait and nobody behind the bar.
Review 45:The back of the hotel. The pool area and dining area and gardens, very peaceful.
Review 46:we stayed in winter, room was quite cold, so was the bathroom, very uncomfortable pilllows - one of the worst ever seen. No shower gels, soaps or caps. Room was gloomy due to colour scheme, but i guess that is personal opinion. Overall they tried to create different and cozy atmosphere, but everything is shabby, fireplace never works, cant play pool after 20:00, jacuzzi also does not work after 20:00. Ok to stay for night, not for a week
Review 47:the staff was very helpfull and went out of the way accomodating our needs - sauna after hours etc. Nice swimming pool
Review 48:rooms are small.
Review 49:san pedro is a good hotel for a tourist , but it is 3,5 km from city center. it is a very nostalgic, sympatic hotel. no noise. looks like southern american hotels. we loved this hotel and whenever u go in hotel, u will like it so mach. clean and good heated. hotel is in a big garden and garden is well-designed.
Review 50:Nope, everything was perfect. The only thing I can complain is that in the reservation website, you can only choose a double room, for 125€, but in reality was for 1 people, with 20€ addendum that cannot be seen and that you have to pay after. Not good
Review 51:Everything. the place is fantastic, a good place to relax and enjoy furing holidays. The swimming pool is fantastic, food is great, they have a very nice people attending you and rooms are awesome What else can you ask for?
Review 52:The room was not decorated, was dirty and the shower was too narrow, which meant I could not shower in comfort and I am only petite. One member of staff was very abrupt and shouted at me after disrupting my meal and my taxi leaving - very poor customer skills, left a bad taste. Was overcharged on the bill until I noticed they had added breakfast which had not eaten!!
Review 53:The facilities and most of the staff who created a very friendly, familyatmosphere. It was also a grand house that had a warm feel to it.
Review 54:We had a double room with terrace but were disappointed that the roomwas very dark and in the wrong direction to get the sun.
Review 55:Very friendly staff. Very good restaurant and excellent food.
Review 56:très bel hotel, superbe site, restaurant tip top A reccomander.....
