Review 1：A comfy mattress, warm room and good breakfast are all that I need from a hotel - and this one had none of these. This is a hostel, not a hotel.

Review 7：I have stayed here a couple of times and really like this hotel. Its a nice building with lots of character, the rooms are a bit tired which is what you would expect at this price, but spotlessly clean and extremely well appointed. Very quiet room and comfy bed.
Review 8：Breakfast was excellent, staff were friendly and helpful, parking was excellent. Bathroom needed up grading otherwise a pleasant stay withgood value for money.
Review 9：Spacious room with ensuite bathroom (with a bath tub!), a lot of natural light. Heater in the room was nice and warm, breakfast was prompt and good, I could use the dining area and fridge whenever I needed to. Not far from pubs and supermarkets. Strong wifi connection also.

Review 29：The whole place is dirty - stairs to room the room itself and the breakfast area. The whole place is run down and needs a big upgrade, but that said there is no excuse for the dirtiness of the place. We were in room 2 and there is a so called shower that only drips but the bath which was filthy has a metal plug that,s no use as the bath is inoperable hence no bath . I could go on but there,s just too much to list. By the way I am not being picky here I was in my working gear on arrival and did not change out of them. So if you are a family or a business man who,s expecting some quality here then I would think twice. It is also next to a busy road and noisy.

Review 31：It was a little way out of town and there weren't many local restaurants or bars - but there was the park! Everything was just in a bit of need of repair and the shower in my room didn't work.

Review 33：Room too small. Bathroom shower had a box for hot water and it went cold then boiling hot so had to give up washing my hair. Needs re-wiring all over the house. Was a nice Edwardian mansion house but seen better days. People running it were friendly no fuss.

Review 43：I didn't like the dirt. I didn't like the fact that the room was never cleaner or hoovered. The headboard was manky with the dirt. The shower and bathroom were unusable with dirt. No mealtimes shown in the room. Woken up at 4.30a.m. with gang of people in. The breakfast time changed on the Monday morning but I was not notified so got a very dried up breakfast which had been cooked an hour previously.
