Hotel Danae is situated on the coastal road of Aegina near the Temple of Apollo, about half a mile from the center of town. It has 54 rooms all with private balcony and most with a sea view.
The full buffet breakfast is served on the veranda and there is a restaurant that serves both lunch and dinner. In the beautiful garden there is a swimming pool and snack pool bar. The nearest beach is 150 feet away.

Review 1：The showers are very very small. Coffee at breakfast needs to be improved. Car park needs to be arranged, parking on the street is almost impossible.

Review 2：The staff was very friendly and the Property was clean. The view was very tranquil facing the sea.

Review 3：The staff were friendly, the rooms comfortable and very clean. We had a lovely room which overlooked the pool and the sea. A taxi costs 4-5 euros from the port to the hotel, but It is a short 10 minutes walk from the port, and close to a small beach. Would recommend this hotel.

Review 4：The wifi signal it's a bit poor, but its ok, it's better you forget about your electronic devices and look the wonderful nature surrounding you!

Review 5：The staff is absolutely amazing, I've never seen something like that before in a hotel, they really treat their gests as family! The location of the hotel is also a plus, a nice walking distance from Aegina town and with breathtaking wievs. Breakfast have everything you need and delicious local specialities, and rooms are simple, clean and comfortable, air conditioning is perfect. All balconies face the swimming pool, so its a bit noisy during the day because of the children, but nothing too dramatic. Danae hotel in Aegina is definitely a family friendly hotel where maybe couples without children feels a bit disturbed and out of place, but you forget about it when you can have a wonderful evening chat with any of the staff! We will definitely visit again!

Review 8：A bit disappointed with the hotel staff and especially with the 2 ladies. Asking them a question felt that they were not keen to reply. Not really a hospitality feeling as they made guests feel not very welcome. Regarding the rest the hotel has a good value for money.

Review 31：Hotel Danae was recommended to me by a Greek friend. It was an easy walk to the port and town, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We left early on our last day, and the staff made toasted sandwiches and pastries for us to take for breakfast. The room was a good size with lots of space to store clothes, etc. and had a beautiful view of the sea. The pool was clean, with good loungers and a bar. The hotel is in a beautiful location and is very convenient for looking around Aegina.

Review 36：The decor of the rooms is of bad taste and does injustice to the overall architecture. The staff is extremely unprofessional and abrupt to the point of rudeness. One of the few places where, while staying at the hotel, you may be told off by the receptionist for failing to notice where the pool towels are, or by the cleaning lady for asking to have your room cleaned at a time not of her convenience.

Review 44：The hotel was beautiful. What I liked the most was that the staff was happy to help with whatever we needed. Since we didn't know anything about the island this was a huge plus. We planned to stay there 4 nights and go to Athens for the next 3 days, but we hated leaving. Our hotel in Athens was unbearable after being at Danae so we called the front desk and went back for 2 more days. The hotel was busier but they still found us a spot. I can't wait to go back.

Review 45：All rooms have a great view to the sea. A good choice in Aigina, close to the port. However, if you don't have a car, I would say the hotel is not at walking distance from the port.

Pool area very pleasant with nice little bar. Decent breakfast too. Aegina Town is a pleasant stroll away (did not need our torch) and a cab was only 4 euros. Lovely view from our balcony and a sweet little beach not too far away - great for a late afternoon dip. All in all would recommend wholeheartedly

Review 88：Danae hotel is wonderful place. Close to port & Egina town. It was pleasant to walk to the town. The service in hotel was excellent. Regular rooms cleaning, fresh breakfast. Very helpful and caring people work in this hotel. It was our second visit. And we are going to return again and again.

Review 105：This is an excellent hotel just on the outskirts of Aegina Town. The rooms have everything you need, the staff are really friendly and the food was good too. It's a 5-10 minute walk out of town but it's worth it for the amazing views and nice breeze you get. The pool area/pool bar are great. Highly recommended!

Review 106：Restraunt Meal selection ok for a meat eater but restricted for a vegie (wife). Beach is stoney (not the hotels fault) as are most beaches arround Aegina compensated by a fantastic swim once you are in. This is not realy an issue just dont expect sandy beaches.
