Review 1：The Poseidon is a pretty family hotel in a brilliant location on the beach at the best end of Kamari near the mountain which separates it from Perissa. The staff are very friendly but not in any way pushy. We have stayed on many Greek islands and the Poseidon is a perfect example of a small local hotel. Sunbeds on the beach are free and all the towels and sheets were changed every day. We would recommend this hotel to anyone

Review 2：The staff were fantastic, the hotel is just around the corner from the bus stop right on the beach front so it's position is perfect. There are heaps of restaurants along the beach front to chose from and a stroll along there after dark is special. Some of the bars have live music and the performers were very good. I would recommend this hotel for anyone who wants a few days at Kamari beach which in my opinion is a better place to stay than Thirra

Review 5：Housekeeping, although on surface looked really good, it could have been a lot better. We stayed 12 nights, I broke a glass on the 4th day, when vacating room and doing final check, under bed discovered remains of broken glass and lots of other dirt and hair from previous occupants

Review 6：Hotel situated just across from the beach. Lovely size room, very quiet at night, no noises at all, which is amazing as we were so close to the main walk way. Staff were friendly and informative. Breakfast was ok, a bit basic but depending on booking, free for some or only €4 for others, what's there to complain about??

Review 7：The only remark I have is breakfast! It's poor, there is little choiche! There is no fresh fruit (except for some watermelon) and no cakes/croissant! With just a little little effort, you could definitely improve it!

Review 9：Air-con in our room wasn't great, however it might just have been the room itself as our friend's room was fine. Breakfast wasn't great as was continental so we ate elsewhere. No wi-fi in the rooms either . . . just in reception or round the pool. But that was it . . . everything else was excellent.

Review 12：Great location but very basic room. Had a fridge but no kettle facility. Shower had to be held by hand. You do get what you pay for and to be fair we didn't spend a lot of time in it but wouldn't want to.

Review 13：I paid top price for a sea view room.It had a big electric pylon in front of it.Asked for a discount but they said no,so I am asking you for some money back as I did not know about pylon.Partly ruined my hols.Will not be looking on your site again unless I receive some compensation

Review 14：- they offered a transfer from port to the hotel (extra 25€). We accepted, however when we arrived there was nobody waiting for us. We had to go to the hotel by bus at 23:30. The person who was in the hotel told us he didn't know anything.. - every morning we can heard a lot of people walking in the hotel from our room. - this part is not fault of the hotel but I want to inform about a problem with taxi that the hotel provide us to go from Kamari to the airport. The hotel informed us that the price was 15€ and the taxi driver (before to start the way) told us that the price was 15€. When we arrived to the airport the taxi driver cheating us saying 18€. If the hotel can to complain to the taxi company we give it the information. Day 17/08/2015, taxi number 5, point departure (bus stop Kamari Beach) at 21:30. It's important to care to the tourist because this taxi driver works for a company but he provides his service to your hotel.

Review 28：Very noisy, the doors had skeleton keys we were stuck in a room in the basement which made the room dark even with the lights on. After complaining they did move us to a ground level room which was a much better The staff were great, Vicky is very much a professional.

Review 29：The beds are not perfect, but on the other hand are quite adequate for a good night's sleep. The water quality is not great, so brush your teeth with bottled variety. The coffee jug is beautiful and works well, but it sits on the floor when operating.

Review 30：Hotel Poseidon has the best location in Kamari Beach. For those who like swimming, lying under a beach umbrella on black sands, gazing at the massive volcanic cliff-face, or the other world 'feel', whilst spending less than at any comparable accommodation. It also has the best staff we encountered on our travels. Views from the balconies are superb.

The refrigerator was so loud that we had to unplug itduring the night because we couldn't sleep. Our room was so hot whenwe got it that we needed to leave the room! And the ac works only if youare in the room which is not convenient when you like you room cold!There was nothing holding the shower head so ahen you want to wash youhair you need to put the shower head down! Didn't like it at all!Would go back!

Review 80：The whole Kamari area is a tourist trap from hell. Restaurants poor, beach tacky - nit even the kids liked it. The hotel nit entirely clean (hair strands on floor etc), bathroom was like in a prison - no shower curtain and pretty much straight on drenched floor. All bad. Security poor too. Neither hotel nor area to be recommended.

Review 82：It was the most friendly and helpful hotel I have ever stayed in, with a family feel. They made you feel a really valued customer. It was the best location. We travelled for a wedding with 48 other people, staying in various hotels on the resort, some considerably more expensive, but I wouldn't ah changed, and others wished they had stayed at the Poseidon with us. A truly wonderful holiday.

Review 89：Poor breakfast (egg ?) , economy room even though very clean the bath curtain was all ripped down ,falling off in pieces .. Pitty for such a little cost of a new curtain to have this image of the hotel. No soap/shampoo. The other room the fridge door didn't close well ,the same with the wardrobe door. If the maintenance would be better this hotel would have been excellent !
