Review 1：It was perfect from the first moment onwards, friendly staff, interesting food and beverage, perfect location to relax and explore culture, nature and people.

Review 2：Great! Great! Great! Wonderful place, the hotel has its own beach with a beautiful tavern nearby. Cuisine is excellent, wifi is right in the room. This is a real small village!

Review 3：Set dinner - although traditional and tasty - very limited options. Breakfast was a bun fight. Everyone scrabbling around for the limited hot food enough. If I was going again I would avoid the set dinner and just eat at the beach bistro which is excellent.

Review 7：Very quiet hotel, good food quality, kindly personal, pretty good beach with a nice underwater rocks. Very quiet all around the hotel, not so noicy like in north side of Crete.

Review 8：The location. The beach is nothing to write home about (Crete is full of beautiful beaches, this is not one of them) and there's nothing really around the hotel apart from one nice taverna (better than the one by the hotel) half a mile down the road.

Review 9：The setting is pretty, the little houses and the gardens between them are just stunning. Spacious rooms and big balconies with views. Breakfast was good with a plentiful selection of fruits, desserts and different varieties of cheese.

Review 10：We stayed at Coriva for 6 nights for a wedding in Crete. We absolutely loved our stay and would highly recommend it to anyone. We asked for a beach view room which came with its own little balcony and was the perfect size for us and had everything you would need for a beachside holiday. The beach was absolutely amazing and you can always get a beach chair and they are also free! The water is crystal clear, although could be quit refreshing it was hot enough not to notice. The beachfront tavern was good however the service was quite slow and we would highly recommend going to the tavern next door. We enjoyed the food there better and it was nice to be able to mix it up a bit. If you can, hire a car so you can get about and explore as there are some absolutely breathtaking beaches to find. Breakfast was quite good and had a huge selection of food even though I couldn't go past the dakos each day. We loved our stay here and would definitely come back.

Review 11：We spent two nights here for our wedding in Crete, while my whole family also spent up to ten days in Coriva in various rooms. Firstly, the staff are amazingly helpful and friendly. Secondly, the rooms are lovely, with a traditional feel - and the gardens are beautiful. Thirdly, the food at the hotel's tavern on the beach is absolutely outstanding. We had a special feast there for our wedding one night and even the locals from Crete agreed that it was exceptionally good, and that they would come back. The beach is also great. All of my family were delighted. I'm from London with a Greek wife and we'll definitely be returning to this hotel and recommending it to anyone who is staying in the area.

Review 13：Charming layout and rooms, quiet and kept very clean. The hotel runs down to the sea past a swimming pool and ends at a taverna run by the family which serves quite fantastic food; fresh fish, wonderful salads and home made food. The beach at the bottom has free sun beds with a cheerful lass who'll bring drinks to where you are sunning. Stony but lovely clean water with quiet mellow music coming from the Taverna. I can't wait to return.

Review 15：It was really pleasant stay in this bungalow. Almost nobody by the swimming pool and beautiful clean beach and water in the sea. Very quiet place, far away from rush of Chania or Heraclion. Very tasty tavern.

Review 20：I felt a bit like living in a reservation. Apart from the few hotels and two supermarkets, there was nothing in the direct surroundings. It would have been nice if there was a water cooker in the room, so you could make a cup of tea/coffee.

Review 21：I liked the way the hotel was built, it was like an ancient Greek village, with bigger and smaller houses in a wondefull garden. From the garden you stepped onto the beach. Here was a beach restaurant with traditional Greek food and good coffee. The staff was very friendly. You could have your breakfast on a terrace that had a view at sea. I stayed here end of september, beginning October. The sea temperature was nice and for a couple of days there were nice waves that gave us a lot of pleasure.

Review 23：Insufficient airconditioning for the high temperatures of the area. We were sweating. WiFi was unreliable, most days Windows users could not login. Some rooms need a renovation. We had a rusty bathroom tub for example.

Review 24：The location was excellent. Direct access to a great beach, good starting point to explore Lasithi by car.

Review 25：The hotel is located to the south of a group of mountains, where when the wind is blowing from the north, it blows a steady gale. Unfortunately this was the case for the five days we were there. So swimming at the beach was only for the die hards. We were told that these winds were unusual though.

Review 26：I had really bad toothache and the staff were excellent in organising a very good dentist for me to see, and were very helpful. The rooms were large, very clean and the beds were exceptionally comfortable. Breakfast was a good selection.

Review 28：Very calm and quiet place in a beautyful garden with olivetrees andflowers. A few tavernas and two supermarkets nearby. Close to the sea.This is a place where you can relax.

Review 29：The hotel was created in the 80's in a Cretan style, and the rooms therefore aren't much enlighted. The beds are on a concrete stand and cannot be moved.

Review 30：The proximity of the beach, the easy access, the fact you could lie down on a sunbed and parasol and order refreshments which made for a very enjoyable and relaxing time. The garden is wide and well kept. Going down to the beach thru a path of flowers was very nice.Some rooms and bungalows have a sea view. The breakfast is served in a open-air pergola or a air-conditionned dining-room. Most of the clients are German so there is a full breakfast and fresh fruit salad. Two computers are available for the use of customers. The rooms are however quite large and have a small terrace with two chairs and a small table and a sun bed.
