Review 1：The hotel staff were incredibly welcoming and couldn't do enough to help. The room was beautifully appointed - every mod con was provided and I couldn't have wished for a better place to stay. I ate dinner in the pub attached to the hotel - arrancini to die for, a steak cooked rare to perfection and the crispest chips ever - bliss. Excellent value for money - I'll definitely be staying again!
Review 2：The breakfast could have been cooked better. The toilets stank of urine and our dining table was outside them. Had to move. Although the bedroom was lovely, when I opened the curtains, I was faced with a high brick wall! No bath, only shower.

Review 5：Spent 3 nights at the white hart and couldn't fault it. The room was immaculate, cosy with all you could ask for. Big bonus having free wiwi and plenty of parking. Excellent breakfast and a very good evening menu. All the staff were excellent polite, friendly, nothing too much trouble. This made our stay special. If we could give more than 5 stars we would. Well done staff and thank you.
Review 6：This was Five Star Plus accommodation. Beautifully clean and positioned room adjacent to the pub with everything you could want for a good night's rest. We had dinner the previous evening, which we had pre-booked. Good menu choice, supported by excellent choice of real ales. Staff were polite and attentive, despite it being a very busy Boxing day. A fantastic breakfast was included in the price. All in all, a thoroughly enjoyable experience.
Review 7：Very welcoming and friendly - even though it was exceptionally busy due to it being the last Saturday before Christmas. Rooms are very new, comfortable, clean and quiet.

Review 13：Had meal in restaurant, I ordered a steak and for the first time in many years I returned it as it was terrible, nothing to do with the way it was cooked but the quality of the cut. Was told, the chef would not cook me another, but by insisting I did receive another which was no better. I left most of it, but it did not seem to concern anyone. In fact I felt in the wrong for raising my concerns. I was expected to pay which I did. But extremely disappointed. Would not eat there again. Totally let down by lack of customer service. Be aware, no outlook from room, staring into a brick wall 2 feet from window, could be rather claustrophobic for some.

Review 17：Exceptional room very clean . strong wi-fi signal. food in pub was reasonably priced and of excellent quality. My partner suffers from coeliac disease and must follow a gluten free diet the White Hart have a separate menu available and will also adapt anything from the specials board. Congratulations you could show the national chains the way forward. We will return.
Review 18：Only thing we were disappointed with was our meal in the bar. I ordered the curry which was 10.95 and it was a very small portion with mainly rice. They offered to change it in all fairness but I was too hungry to wait.

Review 30：Friendly helpful staff. New rooms are very well decorated & I especially liked the King size bed. As I stayed for a few nights in the area it was good to return each evening for a good meal & some delicious wine. It was just like being at home without all the hassle.
Review 31：It wasn't a bad experience. The only thing was the bathroom floor flooded when we had a shower. I guess this was because it was the disabled room and it was a wet room. However this was a minor point. Overall it was brilliant.
Review 32：The bed was comfortable and the room was clean and smelt lovely. It wasn't stuffy but warm and cosy. The staff especially the manager were very friendly and chatty. The breakfast that was included was delicious and good value for money.
Review 33：The only downside was the bacon at breakfast was (in our opinion) raw. However, as we didn't bring it up at the time, I feel a bit bad doing it from the comfort of our own home. I'm certain that had we said something, they would have chucked it back in the frying pan for another couple of minutes for us. It was such a minor thing - and we'd had such a lovely stay, that it didn't (and doesn't) really matter. They'd given us so much extra toast that we certainly didn't leave hungry :-)

Review 49：Nothing to dislike but suggestions would be for coasters to protect furniture from hot drinks, tumblers in bathroom for toothbrushes and doubling up as glasses for drinking water. Small bags in bathroom would be beneficial if anyone wanted to discreetly dispose of sanitary wear in the bathroom bin. The pillow protectors were waterproof which makes them noisy and can make your head sweat. Cotton or quilted pillow protectors etc are much nicer to sleep on. These are not criticisms just suggestions.
