Review 1：Meals were good but we wanted something simpler and cheaper as we stayed a few nights. The hotel is not within walking distance of any village

Review 6：The staff were very friendly and the hotel was very clean. Its a bit dated, but it is two star and that's what we expected when booking.

Review 9：The staff (owners) were very pleasant and helpful. We were at the hotel because I was the guest author at a literary luncheon. Being out of season, there were not many people actually staying at the hotel but there was no feeling that we were a nuisance.
Review 10：The rooms would look more cheerful if the bedcoverings were not brown.The shower head didn't have a wall attatchment so you had to sit in the bath to use it.
Review 11：We didn't really experience the best that this hotel had to offer because both evenings we were there we had terrific thunderstorms so we couldn't eat outside and couldn't use the pool. Our triple room was a good size and had a large covered balcony which would have been nice to sit out on, weather permitting.It was good value for money. The owner is a very nice man and the food in the restaurant was good though not outstanding.But they were willing to give alternatives if there was something on the menu you did not like.
