Review 5：Not their fault but a dog show in town meant loads of pooches in hotel giving off doggy vibes which put mine on edge all night. Very basic beds and give the place 2 years and it will look very tired. Basic bathroom, no shelf. Tricky to find W/our SatNav plus French weird road layouts are taking on an art form called 'find me if you can'! I paid less the next night in an IBIS but had less space. Pays yer money...etc. OK for one night.
Review 6：Location. Set in the grounds of the Uni France-Compte (Medical) with the new tram service into town a stones throw. If you have a pet then plenty of areas for walking. Good parking, massive hypermarket nearby. Small but good enough kitchen unit + basic crocs etc. Table + 2 chairs
Review 7：Breakfast is not very good, you have to do everything yourself, even boil your own eggs!, the restaurant is a small room with no windows and was very crowded. Would not have the breakfast even at 8.5 euros as I spent more time queuing to use the toaster than I did eating!

Review 15：I liked the quiet area and the new tram line that is very comfortable to get to the city centre. The hotel is clean, the staff is friendly and the rooms are well-equipped.
Review 16：Unfortunately we did not get much sleep because the fan between the bathroom and the kitchen unit in the bedroom could not be turned off... That definitely spoilt the otherwise good experience.
Review 17：We rented two studios (one person each) in June 2015. On request the friendly staff gave us rooms on the side of the hotel that is facing the yard and not the parking lot. The rather new studios and their bathrooms were spacious, clean and usefully furnished. The windows could be opened. The parking at the hotel is free. The hotel that was built in a completely new area of Besancon (Les hauts du Chazal) can easily be reached from the main streets, yet it is a quiet neighbourhood.
Review 18：No air-conditioning during the summer, unbreathable air, arrogant evening manager, had to fight him for some discount on the spot. It didnt even accured to us to check aircondition at a new hotel prior to our arrival and they didnt want to reimburse us for cancelling the reservation. we had to sleep with wet towels on top to survie one night.Nnever more.

Review 26：Far outside of the city on a hill, 25 min. by tram into the city. Has not the comfort level o a hotel. The furniture and the overall arrangement is pretty cheap and low quality. The flooring is totally made of linoleum, that maybe is nice for someone suffering of some allergies. Internet did not function most of the time and was slow.

Review 31：I've stayed too times in this hotel in the middle of a Germany-Spain trip (one alone, one with my wife). Both times we paid 40€ just to discover a big, apartment-like room with kitchen and a covered garage free to use. Location was pretty nice for us - near the highway, and with a huge commercial area very near (restaurants, cheap gas station, etc). Reception opening times were great as well - they were opened until 1am, allowing us to travel without worring about the closing time. All in all, for a bit more than what a budget hotel would cost, you get way a better experience.

Also for late arrivals do get in touch with the hotel and get the access code for the door as there is no 24h front desk service. However the overall stay was comfortable. We can recommend it for short stays for its price, cleanness and helpful staff.
Review 40：We stayed at Zénitude Hôtel & Résidence Les Hauts Du Chazal on our way from Germany to Tours for one night. The hotel has all the basics for a short stay. Rooms are clean and well looked after. The bathrooms are also new. Although the hotel is not a fancy one you get more than what you pay for and for a nice change the staff are charming and speak English. Also the breakfast is quite satisfactory. Free and secure parking just in front of the hotel is also a plus.
Review 41：Good access into town by bus or tram. Safe parking in underground garage. Two chairs provided inside room and two more on pleasant balcony. Considered good value and we would certainly stay there again when travelling this way.
