Reviews for The Robin 2 Hotel
Review 1:The venue was pefect, very retro!! Staff great. Food on offer was limited but of good quality n reasonably priced. Bedrooms were very compact and created a giggle but spotlessly clean. You are not paying big bucks but definitely value for money.. I have paid a lot more money at supposedly higher rated establishments and experienced a much worse stay. Well done the Robin 2 Staff were both friendly and helpful. Only critism would be, the venue is carpeted and drink spillage lead to heels sticking into carpet!! Indeed very retro
Review 2:i did not like the fact that the room was on ground level out side the club attached and where all the smokers all went to smoke and the smoke came though to the room.
Review 3:Nothing.
Review 4:Poor water pressure to electric shower in top floor room , kept cutting out. More space in a caravan due to extra large double bed.!
Review 5:Location Price Staff
Review 6:Defective light over the sink and mirror. Surely easily fixed but I didn't bother asking.
Review 7:I was there for a concert at the venue, sleeping over was very practical (and there are not many options nearby). Small but functioning room, fairly quiet but of course, it is a concert venue so be prepared for some activity and sound. Very welcoming and helpful staff. Nice breakfast. Well worth the price.
Review 8:The area surrounding the venue is a dump! Stay in the venue and woodys bar etc... everything else was the pits!
Review 9:Went to a gig ... super easy for the venue. All really easy. Cheap and cheerful. Very happy.
Review 10:Not applicable
Review 11:I thought the staff were helpful and informative. The room was well kept, clean and tidy. It certainly matched my needs for the duration of stay and proved good value for money in my case.
Review 12:The hotel wasn't open when I arrived, they said they tried to contact me & thought I wasn't coming. Further, it may just be a one-off but there was a drunk guy singing out the front until 3.30am
Review 13:The rooms were good
Review 14:The area of Bilston itself is a bit downmarket to say the least, although the hotel is very nice. I was a bit worried at first whether my car would still be in the public car park next to the hotel where guests park, as there are some dodgy looking characters hanging around there sometimes, but after a total of about eight nights that I have parked there, I have had no problems, and it is pretty well lit at night, with quite nice houses right beside it.
Review 15:Very clean, fairly quiet ( considering it's a concert venue)! Excellent quick wi fi, comfy bed, easy to check in/ out. Not many rooms, so quiet and intimate.
Review 16:The breakfast was a little bit disapointing for the price. Only one sausage the bacon was plentiful but a bit too salty and not cooked enough. Plus no mushrooms, black pudding and hash browns.
Review 17:Enjoyed the location and staff were friendly. I can't fault it for convience and free parking is very good.
Review 18:The only downside was the bed was uncomfortable, too soft and lumpy.
Review 19:The room was clean and quiet, the location was ideal, can not rate the staff highly enough.
Review 20:The hot water tap went from cold to scalding very quickly. In addition the kettle size made filling it at the sink a bit of a squeeze.
Review 21:Location to Robin 2 concert venue was ideal. The room was clean and comfortable and hygienic.
Review 22:dirty walls, carpets, pull cord in loo. smelly room booked it well in advance and told staff needed room change but just offered a fan which did not work
Review 23:nothing
Review 24:That the queen sized bed was just two singles pushed together, so eventually ended up in the gap between the two beds.
Review 25:everything was clean and tidy and well presented.
Review 26:This was a great place to stay when going to a gig at the Robin 2 venue as it meant we could both enjoy a drink. It was good value and the staff were friendly. There's a chippy over the road if you get hungry after the gig :-)
Review 27:Basic facilities and no choice of food after 11pm. Shame the Robin 2 don't serve food after kick out time from the venue. Was comfy and clean but room badly designed and very basic.

Review 29:The floor boards creaked quite a lot, trying to get to the bathroom without waking anyone else in the room was not easy.
Review 30:The location if you are going to a gig at the Robin 2 is perfect as its only feet away. The staff are friendly, the room was compact but clean and tidy. The shower was nice and warm.
Review 31:Could hear the loud music and people talking loud outside the concert venue , but don't let that put u off . We still go sleep even if it was loud
Review 32:Upon arrival there was a band waiting to perform at the venue next door so the bar (where we had to check in) was very busy. I caught the attention of the staff, and said I needed to check in, however they carried on serving customers for a further 20 minutes before attending to us. After a long journey it was VERY annoying.
Review 33:Very cheap, very clean, venue next door. Right in the centre of Bilston with excellent tram links to Wolverhampton, Dudley, and Birmingham. Shower was good, bed was comfortable.

Review 44:Breakfast wasn`t available. The Hotel lacked any feeling of welcoming - very drab and dreary. The bedroom was at the front, therefore a bit noisy from the street.
