Review 2：Clean, simple with everything organised and tidy. Great location and friendly staff, parking behind the hostel was free overnight then cheap in the day, a good base for exploring the area.

Review 3：Breakfast a bit basic but still OK. I think I was overcharged by £20.00 as when I booked it was £60.00 for 6 people and the bill I was given was for £60 as well but I was charged £20 extra.

Review 5：This hostel is fantastic. The staff are VERY helpful and friendly. We've stayed there three times now on various trips to Ireland via Holyhead and will most likely do so again in the future.

Review 8：Extra charges for towels, parking after 8am and using a credit card to pay for the room. As people wash their own dishes some of the crockery needed a bit more attention! Pillows were thin and scarce.

Review 10：Our room faced out onto the road which has lots of traffic noise. Starts early at 6am. Also the "double room" is a double bunk bed which is very small and up against a wall which is tight for a couple sharing

Review 16：Couldn't be more central, you can cook your own food and the shop is straight across the road. Cereals and toast for breakfast thrown in too. Our family room was en-suite too. What's not to like!

Review 20：A very friendly and helpful welcome from the staff. We had a room with an en-suite, with good water pressure. So watch out when turning on the faucet. :-) Close to shops and restaurants

Review 21：The rooms was large and comfortable. The shower in the en-suite better than our own! The lounge was full of games, books,a piano , and guitar which the kids loved. Breakfast was great a large variety of cereal,toast and preserves. Fresh coffee and juice The freedom do come and go. The communal living, our children loved talking to other guests. It is a great base for visiting the local area, so much to do in Llangollen. Our children are 10,7 and, 2. And all of them enjoyed their stay, preferred it to home :-) We will be visiting again next year.

Review 22：Lovely hostel at a beautiful location . Good value for money . Rather than wasting more money in expensive hotels this hostel is a great place to stay.

Review 23：On a weekend trip, to attend a conference in Llangollen in October 2014,me and several friends stayed at the hostel. It was fantastic. Friendly staff, good cleanliness and all the necessary facilities. Given that it was the cheapest option in Llangollen (and it included breakfast) this hostel represents true value for money and a genuinely nice place to stay.

Review 24：The very few things I didn't like are petty little things in all frankness, the only two notables ones being that the breakfast was a little basic (though they provided quality basics) and the shower room on the 1st floor is a little cramped. As I said, very petty things are all I can come up with!

Review 25：The place was almost too perfect for my needs. Inexpensive, yet it was the friendliest and definitely the tidiest/cleanest place I've ever stayed in. The bedrooms are basic but comfy, the dining area is nice and airy, and the kitchen is large enough to not get in other people's way of their own cooking (plus it was well stocked for all utensils and such like).

Review 28：Genuine warm welcome, thoughtful hosts from lounge to comfy bed to breakfast. Great location for everything you need to appreciate Llangollen. Ten minute walk to Plas Newydd, 5 minute walk to the Corn Mill pub right on the River Dee, High street bustling with small shops. I could have moved in.

Review 29：On arrival, Arlo was a pleasure to deal with. The rooms were spotless and you can book an ensuite. Breakfast was nice and quick as you help yourself to tea / toast / cereal which suited us for departing early for the boat. I would definitely stay here again.

Review 30：My attic room facing street -bit noisy between 11-12.30 am but it is on a main road and a Friday night . Attic room great for me as I am a short person ,shared bathroom -low ceilings so if you are tall top floor not too good- you will bang your head !

Review 38：We were given a warm welcome and felt at home throughout our stay. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The shower was spacious, with copious hot water. The breakfast facilities were excellent, with even marmite on offer! An added bonus was the presence of an African choir at the hostel, competing in the international Eisteddfod. We would not hesitate to book this hostel in the future, as it's central for exploring a lovely area for walking and sightseeing. The staff are friendly and accommodating in every respect. Review 84：After spending a few days in Oswestry we made a last minute decision to stay to stay an extra night. We were very impressed by this hostel, very clean with a charming living room and well equipped kitchen.

Review 85：They are not at the reception all the time, not at least the day we arrived. Had to call to a number and it took some time from them to arrive. En suite bathroom could do with more shelves and also a small table would be handy in triple room we had.

Review 95：I can't say enough nice things about this place. I got a virus on my first day so spent more time than intended in the accommodation. Great facillities; lounge with books and games, kitchen with free tea, coffee & condiments as well as space to store own food. Helpful and friendly staff. Lovely rooms. And within spitting distance of the main street and river with easy access to other facilities/towns. Genuinely a lovely place to stay.
