Reviews for Hôtel Les Arches

Review 1:bad smell in the elevator but it was resolved the next day. dark hallways and sometimes noisy .

Review 2:great location, restaurants nearby, very helpful and friendly staff, offering umbrellas to us because it was raining when we arrived. the breakfast was excellent with cheese, meat even quiche !

Review 3:Noisy through door from hallway. Room 10 door next to lift door and also front window over reception door, guests arriving late cause noise disturbance both ends if on 1st floor.

Review 4:Central location Basic clean room with large bathroom. Pleasant young man in reception

Review 5:Room grubby. Bed saggy. Shower faulty. Toilet seat broken. Heating off. Appliances old. Door lock broke-locked out of room.Wifi suspect. Noise from other rooms in night. When told, manager so rude & unhelpful he made me cry!

Review 6:The outside garden

Review 7:Nothing important but It's a little out of the main village centre which might be a problem with snow on the ground, about 400 metres, but that's being fussy. Out of season there is no restaurant or bar, so you have to walk into the village, again not a big problem unless it's pouring down.

Review 8:Rooms are not large but quite adequate and very clean. Large comfortable bed with nice linen and proper pillows, France is learning at last! EXCELLENT breakfast at sensible price Good parking Very courteous and helpful staff Really good value for money perhaps because it was out of season. There are few hotels in St. Lary so this is perfect if you are staying just a few days and don't want an apartment

Review 9:The beds maybe a bit small and the wifi a bit dodgy but other than that brilliant.

Review 10:The staff was very kind and helpful. They lock our bikes away very secure and always were there to take them out. They treated us very nice and the breakfast was amazing.

Review 11:The evening dinners were poor and certainly not value for money. The hotel was expensive . The showers were poor and the curtain could not contain the water so the bathroom was wet

Review 34:Swimming pool Breakfast

Review 37:No complaints, it was a good hotel for the price.

Review 38:Friendly staff, clean rooms, accept pets, lounge with board games and chess was nice to come back to at night. Staff provided friendly service. Close to the center of town (-5 minute walk). Free parking right next to the hotel.

Review 39:Brilliant hotel moments walk to gondalas for sking great family hotel and resort and three minute walk to main high street rooms big and roomy loads storage area

Review 40:A restaurant in the hotel would be good or at least a bar!

Review 41:Good choice at breakfast, not a bad price. Very clean and tidy hotel. VERY near to the new ski lift.

Review 42:We didn't like the table setting in the room. It was a small triangle selve hanged in the corener of the room .

Review 43:The place is neat clean and beautiful. Breakfast looks great (I didn't eat) and is served in a nice roomy lighted place. I would had stayed longer if possible.

Review 44:The room was noisy as it faced the road, however there was a road diversion in place at the time.Check out time was from 9.00am. We had to get the waitress to accept our payment at 8.00am to enable us to leave. Not an acceptable check out time for travelers.

Review 45:The location to the restaurants in the town. The view of the mountains from our room.

Review 46:Pool is a little small, but it's fine for just unwinding in at the end of the day

Review 47:Great breakfasts, very friendly can-do staff. Bike-friendly too. This is a great base from which to ride several Pyrenees climbs - e.g. Aspin, Peyresourde, Azet val Louron, and many more

Review 48:We thought breakfast was a little expensive so walked into the town centre and bought from a bakery.

Review 49:This is a very pleasant hotel at the edge of the town centre. The pool was small but lovely on a hot afternoon. The staff spoke English. The town was small but vibrant and offered a lot for holiday-makers.

Review 50:The price per night was €65 with this booking yet only €50 if I'd booked it myself, this website is a rip off, I'd never use it again, and I'll be telling friends via Facebook how bad this website is,

Review 51:If I'd booked this hotel without booking.com I'd have had been over the moon, but 3 night's stay cost me an extra €55 .
