Reviews for Premier Inn Preston East

Review 1:We stayed here on Christmas Eve as a stop over on our way to Glasgow from London. It's a standard premier inn - clean and easy. Lots of choices for pillow. The person on reception was friendly and helpful and the staff at breakfast the next day were also just as friendly even though they were working on Christmas day. Good location for passing through as we were.

Review 2:Requested a disabled room as I am in a wheelchair. Size of bathroom was great but the shower was over the bath so I couldn't use it. There were plenty of grab rails around the bath, so great if you can get into one. I needed a wet room with a seat as I cannot get into a bath. Asked reception, but was told that Premier Inn do not provide wet rooms. Back to Travelodge for us.

Review 3:Staff, cleanliness, location, value for money - all very good.

Review 4:Great price, very good value for money, good facilities, friendly staff....good food - great prices...free breakfast for children with paying adults, unlimited drinks with meals & extra chips with meals!!!!!

Review 5:There was only thing I didn't like. To travel North on the motorway from the Hotel, it was first necessary that you travel South on the Motorway, turn around and travel North on the motorway.

Review 6:The accommodation was very good, all meals and drinks were of a good quality at a sensible price. The location suited our purpose very well.

Review 7:It was all we expected, staff friendly and helpful, food was average/good,clean would go again. Close to motorway and Preston city centre, good for the Lakes and Yorkshire moors

Review 8:Postcode doesnt take me exactly to the hotel and had to goa round the M6 couple of times before locating the access to hotel.

Review 9:Very nice courteous staff, 24 hour reception, flexible check-in and check-out.

Review 10:The meal deal with The Beefeater Restaurant excellent. The room was spacious and nicely appointed. The sofa lounge gave us somewhere to put our suitcases.

Review 11:What's not to like!! One point I think may be valuable is to have a point system for sometime travellers and offer a bonus, like you do for reps or frequent users. E.g. A stamped card like coffee shops use for positve sometime travellers, who can get a bonus and a treat too.

Review 12:Excellent size rooms, clean and spacious. We love that we can have a choice of soft or a firmer pillow, or to use a sheet or not. All very well thought of and indeed very pratical for weary travellers. Thank you so much.

Review 13:Room very cold on arrival ( though staff quickly sorted problem). Very expensive for a hotel with basic room and no facilities. Paper thin walls, noisy.

Review 14:Easy access from M6.Plenty of parking.

Review 15:The room was far to hot with no way of cooling it. The bed was far to hard. Both sets of pillows were naff. All in all a horrible 2 nights

Review 16:The tv was the only food bit

Review 17:As expected from a Premier Inn, it was clean, friendly, good value for money and a lovely comfy bed. There was a very busy road close by but we did not hear a thing throughout the night. We used it to visit Blackpool which is about 30 minutes away. After a great day of endless walking, all the noise and bright lights that Blackpool offers I was in heaven back at this hotel! I would happily recommend.

Review 18:Maybe safety isn't much of an issue there but they need locked doors at the front maybe a fob entry system not an problem just an improvement but I did feel safe

Review 19:We stayed had a wonderful night's sleep hotel was very clean reception was welcoming and very polite plus free parking we had dinner next door and breakfast great value again great service then we left for blackpool the next morning can't fault it at all great value we will do it again thanks premier inn

Review 20:The bathroom smelt like urine and although it seemed clean it needed a deep clean, the shower wasn't easy to use, I didn't know which was hot and which was cold.

Review 21:The amount of bedding ad pillows supplied aided this, staff were friendly and accomodating

Review 22:The room was very dusty and although I complained due to the dust and missing a bedside table, the table arrived straight away but the room was not dusted. Thick in dust on TV, shelf running behind TV the headboard and the wooden shelf above the headboard.

Review 23:The staff where lovely

Review 24:The beefeater next door has appalling service took an hour for our food to arrive because they mucked up the order. Took a while for them to take our drink order and the place was dead

Review 25:Everything was lovely, just a standard premier inn.

Review 26:No walk in shower, sometimes essential for disabled people. Location of the hotel too far from the town centre.

Review 27:The comfort, cleanliness and the staff were very obliging.

Review 28:Son is in a wheelchair - doors and corridor too narrow. The actual room was tricky too tho I understand there are a couple of disabled rooms.

Review 29:Staff were very friendly. Meals and breakfast good.

Review 51:Norman Jepson Most unhelpful staff and extremely unwelcoming!

Review 52:Premier Inn

Review 53:Always consistent standard but here the staff were amazing providing genuine fab customer care,

Review 54:staff very welcoming and helpful. excellent price. clean and comfortable. good for one night business travellers.

Review 55:bathroom needs redoing and not that clean. Poor shower

Review 56:Staff very friendly

Review 57:Mattress too hard. Room somewhat too warm in summer.

Review 58:All of the above

Review 59:Lovely cheerful staff, really close to M6, good food.

Review 60:We had been told that the night staff would let us in when we rang the door bell, if we returned after 11pm. We arrived back from a birthday party at 12.30 but despite ringing bell & knocking on door (with others who joined us) the door wasn't answered until 1.00.

Review 61:Friendly and helpful staff. Location good for our needs. Bed comfortable. Breakfast good choice of food.

Review 62:lack of signs to find hotel from motorway

Review 63:really helpful receptionist who despite being busy offered to find out the weather forecast and tourist attractions for us.

Review 64:Only very minor the bathroom looking a bit tired needs grouting in room 18.

Review 65:Nice comfortable stay served our purpose as near to place we needed to be.Food lovely had breakfast and evening meal.

Review 66:Everything, the staff were so welcoming both in the hotel and thebeefeater restaurant. Absolutely no complaints what so ever. Thanks forfor your thoughts for our daughter who is in Hospital near by. (Thereason for our visit)

Review 67:Signage from M6 could be improved Ice making machine would be helpful. Non misting bathroom mirror would be a bonus!

Review 68:Location close to motorway. Proximity of Restaurant. Peaceful and quiet. Helpful staff in Hotel and restaurant

Review 69:The outside environment appears not to be regularly cleaned as I observed dead leaves outside the beefeater area.

Review 70:I arrived on Monday, 4th of November, 2013 and that was at about 11am. I met Andrea at the reception. The way she received me was very professional and warm. I was impressed. After I have checked in, I complained that I was hungry having left Nigeria since Sunday, 3rd November, 2013. She guided me into the restaurant where I met Rayne, who informed me that the time for breakfast time had elapsed. However when I informed her that I came all the way from Nigeria and that I must have something to eat, she and Andrea showed such level of compassion that they practical served me a sumptuous 'breakfast' which I enjoyed. Throughout my stay in the hotel, I didn't have cause to interact more with Andrea and Rayne however they made very strong positive impression on me that I am contemplating staying in Primer Inn again when next I am in Preston. I really enjoyed the serenity of the hotel environment and the friendly disposition of all the staff.

Review 71:Beefeater was quite pricey.

Review 72:I was concerned that its proximity to the motorway would be a problem but there was little to no noise so we had a great night's sleep but were close to excellent transport routes.

Review 73:I cannot think of anything that I did not like........no nothing.

Review 74:Everthing we needed or wanted when we stopped at Premier Inn PrestonEast was to hand when we required it and it was comfortable. The staffwere very friendly and efficient including the way the telephone wasanswered when I called ahead to define exactly where the Inn wassituated. This was my problem not your company directions as given onthe internet. In addition to the faciliteies and staff I particularlylike the 'no rush ' time of 11am to vacate the room it meantthat we could relax and enjoy breakfast and not rush any thing beforeleaving the Inn for that a particular thank you. The breakfast was greatand the staff very helpful. I will use Premier Inn Preston East again.Question 6 below - I cannot answer. We were passing through on the m6and Premier Inn Preston East was convenient for us to have a goodnight's sleep.

Review 75:Room stuffy in the night. Couldn't open windows without our sleep being disturbed with the constant traffic noise. Hardly had any sleep! Wouldn't want rooms on that side again! Only 1 drawer for two of us. Only 2 tea bags. No milk for tea unless we traveled down to the restaurant. No little extras that used to be the norm, such as tissues; sachets of shampoo etc. Prices up but the little extras all gone!

Review 76:Easy to get there.

Review 77:Having stayed at Coventry south on our outward journey the television was much better with a flat screen tv as against the one at Preston which was the older type. Not enough tea/coffee,milk or sugar sachets were supplied although Coventry had extra at reception. This along with some toiletries would be a nice addition.

Review 78:We asked for a quite room away from the motorway and this was done and appreciated. The beefeater restaurant on site was very good and the evening meal we had was very nice as was the breakfast in the morning. The staff were friendly and courteous

Review 79:A mix up over the price. Initially charged me £16 more than the'booking.com' price, but then honoured my original price when Iproduced my print out.

Review 80:Clean and comfortable room. Good breakfast. Polite and friendly staff.

Review 81:The bed was the most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept in and was more in keeping with a budget hotel than a Premier Inn. My husband and I are still suffering after staying there for only one night.

Review 82:The staff were very helpful

Review 83:We booked the room included with breakfast, But reception staff said your room doesn't includ breakfast. It took 10 minitues to check. Wifi was no use. The restaurant was full, but there were few people! They need more person in the kitchen and hall. They recommend other pub near the hotel. But the restaurant was full ,too. We have to wait 90 minutes. The shower head was fixed!

Review 84:It was convinient to go to Chester from Windermere. That is all.

Review 85:There was quite a lot of frustration with the booking/check-in process. I travelled on business from Australia and there was a lot of phone calls, emails and even a requirement for a fax to be sent, which seems uneccesarily complicated. Unfortunately it has probably put off my company from booking with Premier Inn again, which is a shame because I was happy with my stay otherwise.

Review 86:Staff were freindly, rooms very clean and the bed very comfortable.

Review 87:Not enough signs telling you how to find it
